I've had the most welcoming & best experience with Dr. Krauss. He cares about his patients and always has their health and wellness as his top priority! Best chiropractor I've been to by far. Office staff is always kind and gets me in and out with no issue! read more

I cant express how grateful I am to have been referred to this amazing chiropractor! Im 45 years old and this was my first time, Ive always been weary of the proffesion in the past. My left shoulder had been bothering for a few months and the pain was getting worse. In less than an hour I walked out of there being able to lift my arm again, INSTANT relief! The whole experience was awesome! Everything was explained, and I was helped right away. No wait time at all. My options were given to me, and I was able to decide what I felt was best for me after being given the medical opinion. I was informed of Financial packages, but was not made to feel like I had to absolutely purchase them. This place is amazing, and the Dr. Knows what he is doing. I will be going back for sure! I only wish I had started going sooner. read more

Was sent here sort of on accident by my PI attorney's office (they sent two links, never specified which to go to, but meant for me to go to the other one) and I think it was just meant to be. I actually like my job (crazy, right), but leaving to see Doc (and Michael, of course) 3 times a week's usually the highlight of my day each time. Good people, amazing adjustments. I couldn't be more grateful for Doc, his humor, and his talent! Always great conversations, and though Doc is often slammed with clients, he is always attentive, careful, and thorough to a T. I always feel an indescribable amount better in terms of my pain levels and mobility after my visits. Wouldn't trust anybody else with snappin my bones around lol thank you guys for everything! read more

My back has been giving me problems ever since I hurt it while in the Navy. I have tried many different ways to get pain relief. I had the chance to meet Dr. Krauss, when I was able to visit him. He asked if I wanted to explain what was going on or for him to look at the way I was standing and tell me. Well I said please go ahead and tell me. Well, his assessment of how I was feeling was spot on. He then proceeded to give me an adjustment, which was instant relief. Dr Krauss is knowledgeable, easy going, and genuine. I have recommended Dr Krauss to family and friends. I highly recommend Dr. Krauss! read more

I came in with back, hip and neck problems. If im being honest I came in quite grumpy. After years of not having a proper adjustment who wouldn't be? I came in and got to learn some really nice techniques on stretching. The doctor was super kind to me and was defiantly an easy going guy. He made me feel safe and relaxed. During my adjustment he fixed quite a bit in my back, and realigned my hip. I DEFINITLEY noticed big time after I bend down to grab my back pack when I was heading out. He pointed out something that I didn't even know was there. I thought that was really cool. The best part was the realigning of my neck. Most people are afraid of that because of the sound, but please don't fear any of that with this doctor. Super nice, does it on the first go and the dopamine is INCREABLE. Needless to say, I came in with a frown and left smiling :) I will be coming back round 2, 3..... P.S. There's a student discount ;) Yeah heavy backpacks aren't my thing either ;) Go get your body fixed! read more

Bought A Groupon package deal for my wife. One of the best Valentine's Day gifts yet, great advice, great atmosphere, & saved up to 80% off. The visit was fair on timing not to long, not short. Dr. Krauss was able to help my wife's lower back pain & strain within the first two visits Excellent work. -Wesley read more

Dr. Vic is amazing. He took his time and was very friendly. He adjusted me in many places that I didn't think possible. Gave me an exercise program and actually explained why you have to drink so much water. A lot of doctors give you the general diagnosis, crack you and say goodbye. He explained which parts are misaligned, why something was swollen and what I could do to speed recovery. I highly recommend. read more

Miracle worker is an understatement! I severly sprained my left ankle where I slid down 2 ft of large rocks at penesquitos creek during a hike. I was in a boot for a month went to my regular dr for a follow up and was told I would spend another 3 months in a boot!! I couldn't even fully point or flex my foot, not to mention that my ankle was painful to put weight on and felt like pins and needles. Doc took a look at my ankle and said with a minor adjustment I should be good as new. He did a simple adjustment and I literally haven't needed the boot since. Not only did he get me out of the boot the day after my dr said I'd be in a boot for 3 more months but a week later I was able to wear my favorite heeled boot for a night out with no issues and no pain. It's been a month and I've got full mobility in my ankle and no pain. On top of fixing my ankle I did a simple neck adjustment and did away with my migraines, neck pain, and random dizzy spells. He is possibly the best chiropractor I've ever had the pleasure of being adjusted by! If you're looking for a new chiropractor Docs your guy! read more

Dr. Vic is magical. I went into the office on Monday with horrible sciatic pain. It was constant, I couldn't sit could barely stand or walk without being in pain. After one adjustment I was already feeling better. I can't explain how much I appreciate my sessions with Dr. Vic. He really knows what he's doing and really does make everything better with each adjustment. But you have to go in and be consistent. I stopped going for a few months because I felt better and the pain came back after I suffered a hip injury. But again, I know all I need to do is go back to Vic. Thank you again for all that you do! read more

Dr. Krauss is very pleasant to work with. He's very attentive to the needs of his clients and his goal to come up with the best plan and care for his patients. So far, so good! I would recommend this chiropractic center for treatment. read more

Dr Vic is very straight forward and caring. I would highly recommend him. He helped me when I couldn't even transfer my weight from one foot to another. Love him. read more

I came here with a Groupon that my friend got me, since I had a muscle spasm on my lower back. It was the 3 adjustments plus xrays. After the Groupon was over I felt much better compare to how I started. Although Dr suggested me to continue getting more. (I would if it was more affordable, I don't have insurance so I need to save money) The facilities are amazing, clean and the people working there as well are amazing. Michael, the assistant is so nice, made me feel so comfortable and made me smile every time I was there. He was so down to earth. Dr Krauss tried to fix me even with such small time since I only had 3 adjustment (with the deal I bought). And I thank him for that. You did the best you could in such a small time frame. I would just like to say, good place, good people, but maybe lower the price for those of us who have no insurance. read more

Felt a lot better after one visit and will definitely keep going back. Great chiropractor, highly recommend!

I booked on Groupon and today was my first visit of 3. I cannot recommend this place enough. He went into great detail explaining everything that he was going to do. I went alone and felt no discomfort or any weird feeling. I cannot wait to go back for my second session 10/10 would recommend!! read more

Do not use this business. I was in an accident last year and my lawyer recommended them on contingency. This is a drive through chiropractor focused on building a medical claim and not about rehabilitating. The medical equipment is old, outdated, and feels used and ripped. I was signed up under contingency then after a couple of months the lawyer dropped the case, he sent documents to myself and the chiropractor. At that point I stopped going to this chiropractor continuing my treatment with my insurance. I am now being asked to pay for my treatment that was under contingency. This is money hungry shady business that is not concerned with its patients. read more

My husband and I were in the San Diego area and we came across the Groupon for this place. Both of us have had neck, shoulder and back pain. We have both been wanting to try a chiropractor, but a little intimidated by the cracking, lol. We decided to check it out, and Dr. Krauss was very friendly along with his assistant Mike. After 1 visit, I immediately felt the tension in my neck go from constant to barely anything. I also learned I have a slightly lower shoulder and uneven hips, which I am glad I found out and now I will be going back to help get me all aligned again. If you are debating with going to a chiropractor, I suggest you go for it and check out Dr. Krauss, he even does x-rays (included in groupon along with 3 adjustments). read more

Supper quick and very friendly. I got a Groupon for an exam and three adjustments and I could not be happier that I did. I have bad lower back pain and get headaches alot. After the first two adjustments I stopped having to take pain medication all day everyday. Now I only take them when the pain gets bad. Most appointments take about 20 to 30 minutes at the most with stretching and adjustment. I plan to continue to come here. read more

I must have met Dr. Krauss back in '07 when I was going through a "health improvement" phase. I cut out meat, joined a gym, was getting massages and learned about chiropractic. In fact, when I visited his El Cajon Blvd. location near SDSU, I was actually seeing two other Chiropractors. Why? Just wanted to see the different styles that each offered. I ended up sticking with Better Life Chiropractic due to their great location, high-tech facility and super friendly staff. Dr. Krauss takes the marketing approach to building friendships. Example: "Hugs or handshakes?" He runs a great business and is also deeply committed to his family. I recently visited BLC for an adjustment and it had actually been over a year since I last saw Dr. Krauss. Travel and 20-minutes of daily self-led yoga kept me away, but after my adjustment, I was reminded of how much better I can feel when I get a tune up from my favorite (and only) Chiropractor. read more

I LOVE THIS PRACTICE.. I can honestly say I was very happy with my first and second visit there. It wasnt like I was at the docs office, it was like being at my family's house hanging out laughing chatting and bonus getting on track to a healthy back. And the dog...I am in love with him..I highly recommend better life.. read more

He is a fraud, sends you to collections for treatment never received. BE CAREFUL with this so called Dr.

I came in with a terrible pain from what I believed was a slipped rib, I left free of pain. It took one adjustment to make me feel completely better. I could actually sleep not to mention all the other problems that were brought to my attention that we're currently working out. I was educated more then I could have ever expected and more importantly I'm pain free! Highly recommended! read more

Dr. Krauss is fantastic. I've had debilitating back pain for years and felt incredible after a couple sessions. Getting relief for my back pain (both upper & lower back) was truly welcomed, but it was the other benefits that blew me away ... For nearly six months I was dealing with severe heartburn and other digestive issues. At our first consultation he said that he noticed a blockage in my spine that was likely the culprit of the heartburn. After one adjustment, the heartburn went away and hasn't returned. read more

If I can have more stars they will have it all! Dr. Krause is amazing, same as all his team in both offices ( because they have one in El Cajon and the other one in Oceanside) they are amazing! They are funny and make you feel like home, if you have never try a chiropractor why don't you buy Groupon!? They have great deals ( that's how I started) And now I'll come for ever !!! read more

I am glad I made the thoroughly irrational decision to go for the long term treatment. I figure my back had a long time to work into its bad shape, and I love the positive atmosphere in the office. Dr Krauss explained that even if my spine could be made perfect instantly, it still would take time to free up all the nerves from being strangled by crooked bones and allow my body to heal itself. He said it would take a year, and I am happy with my progress. So many people told me I was being fed a line, but I think it would be like refusing to wear a cast on my arm if the break didn't heal in two days. Impatience is a human thing - healing is from God. I'm not an extrovert myself but I feel more welcomed than overwhelmed. There is a good spirit in the office which I greatly appreciate, and it comes from everyone, patients and staff alike. I think the plan I signed up for costs less than an MRI, and actually helps me rather than just defining a problem. read more

I woke up with the worst neck pain last week that landed me in the ER. I was discharged from the ER with muscle relaxers because they said I probably pulled a muscle and couldn't do anything more for me. After 2 days I still could not lift or move my neck. I called here, the front staff was compassionate to my situation, got me in the same day and it was an amazing experience. They took x-rays (which the ER hadn't even done) before my adjustment and allowed me to take time between each adjustment since it was so painful. After just two adjustments, I am thrilled to report I now have movement in my neck again, am back in work, and driving! I will definitely continue coming back to Better Life Chiropractic! read more

Dr. Krause is amazing and very helpful, as well as the office staff.

This guy has a very nice manner on the phone. However, he truly outdoes any used car salesman I'VE ever met, with his super-fake smile, his bone-crunching handshake, and his manipulative tactics. I lost count of how many times he said, "I'm only trying to help you." Even after I requested that he stop saying that, he kept saying it! He couldn't help it: it's probably "overlearned", and he probably says it a hundred times a day. It's simply part of the script. read more

$617.34 for a single adjustment. I got an a rear end accident hit and run and was referred by a lawyer here. The slowest acting lawyer in all the world. They are now going to put me in collections over this debt because the other party's insurance refuses to pay. Attempted to email for a payment plan but it was ignored and they called saying nothing of the emails but threats of destroying my credit. I want to know why 2 short visits that did nothing were such outrageous amounts. Absolutely regret ever stepping into this office. I will only accept an email response from them because I don't trust any phone calls. read more

Dr. Krauss is AWESOME! I've been to a couple different chiropractors in my day while living in the bay & since being back home in San Diego I decided to go see a new chiropractor to get my power turned on. I hadn't been in a couple months & really needed an adjustment. Dr. Krauss explained so much to me & my daughter & really took the time to go over everything so we could make an informed decision about our health. I know it's not going to be a quick or cheap fix but I know we are worth it & would rather pay a few hundred dollars to stay healthy and feel great. MY health truly is priceless and I am thankful to have such a thorough report of the causes of my problems rather than a series of inconclusive results regarding my symptoms. Thanks again Doc for energizing me and helping facilitate my active lifestyle. read more

I love this guy. Dr. Krauss helped heal my headaches, reverse some postural issues and relieve some body pain that I thought I would have forever. He genuinely wants everyone to heal and feel better. read more

Dr Krauss is amazing...he treated my granny like a queen and had my arthritic ankles feeling pain-free almost immediately. He has a very progressive office with the latest technology but still took the time for personal service and explaining some neck stretches, etc. Highly, highly recommended!!!! He doesn't just do spinal adjustments but also knee and ankle adjustments--this is a rare treasure!!!! Dr Krauss is the best San Diego chiropractor in my opinion...go check him out. read more

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Krauss for over 13 years. My husband introduced me to Dr. Krauss, and I honestly have to say I was very reluctant at first. Dr. Krauss took the much needed time to educate me on chiropractics and explain to me the importance of adjustments for my lifestyle. With many years of gymnastics growing up, I was in need of a chiropractor and didn't even know it. Over the years, Dr. Krauss has improved my quality of life and maintained it. He can find your area of pain before you can tell him where it is located. Myself and my husband continue to get regular care and will continue for as long as he is practicing. Renee & Jim read more

I've been coming here for over 10 years now and even though we have moved several times, and are no longer close to the office, we still make it a point to get adjusted regularly. The first time I realized that I needed adjusting was when I was in college. I was uncomfortable and had headaches everyday with frequent migraines. I went to Better Life Chiropractic because of a recommendation from a friend. I was skeptical that he would even be able to help me. They were professional, Honest and open. The pricing for exam, xrays and first adjustment was fantastic! Dr. Krauss gave me a headache guarantee, that if he couldn't get rid of my head aches I would get my money back. Needless to say, I'm a happy customer and loyal to his care! My headaches rarely happen and I am happier and healthier. 3 kids later and every one of my children were adjusted by Dr. Krauss within the first week of life. They all continue to be adjusted regularly :) read more

Great place. The Groupon is well worth the money. Had my back and shoulders feeling way better after 3 visits.

I absolutely LOVE this place, the staff & Dr. Krauss! They are courteous, professional & there to help at anytime. The place is always clean, especially the potty area. You are in & out of there within 10 minutes If for some reason you have to wait a minute ot two, Melanie is a great person to talk to. It doesn't matter what kind of mood I am in, as soon as I walk through their door I feel relaxed. It is a very joyful atmosphere. I would recommend everyone to this office. read more

I was having migraines 3-5 times a week and decided it was time to have a chiropractic adjustment. I looked up chiropractors near San Diego and Better Life had great reviews so I purchased a 5 visit groupon and scheduled an appointment. The staff are amazing and friendly, they genuinely care for each and every patient as if they are family. Dr. Krauss is also kind and friendly, he explains how chiropractic works before adjusting your spine and exactly what each adjustment is good for. After 5 visits I have had only 2 migraines over the past 2 months and felt improvements when I sleep and in how much energy I have!! I am so grateful for coming in and would definitely recommend it for anyone who feels like they need an adjustment!!!!! read more

No pain-No Surgery-No Downtime! I was really skeptical but I do have to admit that the treatment at San Diego Weight Loss really worked for me. 12 LBS, 1 dress size later I am a believer. This LED light therapy targeted my fat cells and all I had to do was lie there with the red LED light pads placed on the areas that I wanted to lose the fat. This is a non- invasive slimming way to lose inches and fat. I have had Lipo and I feel this LED light therapy was less invasive, no down time and I lost more overall inches.
