This cafe was my vegan lunch dream in Puerto Rico that came true. The restaurant is covered in…read morebeautiful vines and has an outdoor patio with a koi fish pond. Indoors was also quite spacious, but I chose to enjoy the weather outdoors. I was instantly attended to and well taken care of by the staff. My food came out in a reasonable time as well, even at lunch hour. I enjoyed the vegan Cubano sandwich which was SO extraordinary but not overbearing in taste, also quite filling and large pin portion. I could have taken the second half home to be honest but just scarfed it down. I enjoyed the charcoal lemonade (my first time ever having this, it was perfect) and choc chip banana bread for desert. If I could give this place 10 stars I would, and I think they should open up a 2nd location. This is the best vegan restaurant in Puerto Rico.

I had the tuna & mango which though rather good nothing I would consider special though I would call it unique. It's hard to tell what this place sells because the only thing that you can see on display here are beer taps, alcohol bottles, a few pastries, and assorted bottles of water, beer, and champagne. Also, the menus are available via QR code, so unless you scan the code you don't know what's available. A printed menu over top of the small refrigerator that holds beer, water and champagne would be great. Otherwise, it's fairly easy to overlook this place, or forget that they have such a wide variety of offerings. The 'Beet Me' juice is slightly sweet and refreshing: A great substitute for the vegetables I forgot to eat while on vacation. The 'Carrot Head' juice was tangy and refreshing, but I wish they added more bite... I like my drinks spicy. The "Mr. Green" juice reminds me a little bit of Naked Juice's, Green Machine. Refreshing, nutritious, and very good. The carrot falafels are to die for! Great recommendation on the part of the staff. I ordered some cilantro crema on the side, not knowing that it came with its own sauce (which I believe was either the spicy mayo or the sweet tahini). Both sauces were absolutely fantastic! The scrambled eggs with goat cheese, truffle oil, sauteed vegetables, and smoked salmon was a filling and nutritious way to start the day. This eggs were scrambled perfectly: not too soft or too hard. The goat cheese offered a delightful tang. The veggies were cooked to perfection, maintaining their crispiness while blending beautifully with the rest of the dish. The portion of smoked salmon was quite generous. The bread was crispy and spongy and added a wonderfully crunchy texture to an already filling and delightful meal. For lunch I have the shrimp wrap. It will served with a side of lightning season tortilla chips. The rap ones pretty large. It was full of Krispy greens, tomato, shredded carrot, spicy mayo, and lots of plump juicy shrimp. I got mine wrapped in a sundried tomato tortilla. It was quite messy, but nevertheless made for a healthy a filling last lunch on the island. I hope they invest in more signage, or at least a large menu poster because this they have a great thing going, and more people need to know about it. Hopefully with a few strategic changes, they will be able to get the attention and the traffic that they deserve.

I was excited to find a healthy breakfast and lunch place, but this location seems to be a…read moreminiature version of what could be a great restaurant. First of all, it is located at the already small lobby of a hotel. There is an abbreviated menu on a stand without any descriptions. You have to use the QR code to see the online menu that describes each item. There is one person manning the register and serving the tables, so things are pretty chaotic. Having said that though, I did enjoy my shiitake mushrooms tacos. The portion size was very small (it was three mini-tacos for $22, 1 star off), so I also ordered truffled scrambled eggs. The truffled scrambled eggs had no truffle flavor (1 star off). Toast came with the (non-)truffled eggs, but there was no jam or butter. I asked for jam, and was told they do not have jam. I asked for butter, and was charged for butter. Who serves dry toast without jam or butter? Maybe this place is TOO healthy.
