This local grocery store could be compared something like Wholefoods, but WF is WAY better. Here you have breakfast and lunch that 9 out of then have been a great. They do have in the groceries side really good healthy options and organic fruits/veggies. The super rush hour here is lunchtime because the food is great and has plenty of options for everyone. They have a vegan,vegetarian and regular options. I appreciate that they make everything with vegan mayonnaise so anyone who wants a potato salad can eat read more

This was my first time in fresh mart. I was not impressed with the service. The young lady at the cash register wasn't as polite as an associate in service should be. I could hardly hear her. I waited over 20 minutes for a smoothie that hadn't even begun to be made when I inquired about the he smoothie. It didn't even register. I had paid cash. To make it worse the store wasn't even really busy. The service was poor and everything in the store was overpriced. One would think they would be more diligent with those prices. I got a refund and will never return to this establishment. read more

The person at the register was not polite, had no good manners. I ordered a sandwich without the veggie burger and they put the veggie burger. I've waited 20 mins for a sandwich. few years ago, the people that worked there were very nice. Customer service experience is very awful and that is the most important thing. read more

This location of the Freshmart chain (this one is in Hato Rey, not Condado) has a cafeteria in back that offers vegetarian and vegan options (as well as meat and fish options). Although I don't believe that they have a dedicated gluten-free portion of their kitchen, you will find gluten-friendly options (such as various rice or legume-bashed dishes). This is one of the larger Freshmart locations; and I find that it has more sales on food items than the Condado location. Note that if you come here on a regular basis, get a customer card. If you ever need to find a health food store where you can buy rare-to-find items, such as Grade B Maple Syrup, empty capsules to stuff with your own herb blend, a wider vitamin selection than at the pharmacy, uniodized salt, Blue Agave, raw oatmeal, cleansing teas, some Kosher items, and the likes --- you may find many of those things here. If you don't find it here, chances are, you won't in PR. You can check out the website for their selection, but always call to ensure they have whatever you're looking for. It should be named Organic-ish Convenience Store. WAY overpriced! Vegetables were decomposing, and all breads frozen. It's sad to see how small businesses try to climb the business ladder by taking advantage of their consumers. Most food products in Puerto Rico are imported, this company takes advantage of the small demand for healthy items. I was very disappointed when I spent $40 on 6 items that included frozen bread, organic ketchup, wheat pasta, frozen veggie burgers, and non-sliced (1" thick) munster cheese. read more

They carry things that you can't get anywhere else, also are the only full on health mart around so this is your best and only bet. it's prettty expensive but It's well worth it. read more

I'm a vegetarian and love fresh greens and vegetarian options. This place has it. It's a shame they don't have one in San Juan metro area but if you have a car go here for organic or vegetarian options. They have a hot food bar, that was my dinner often while here . read more

The Freshmart is Condado is one of the worst stores. I have been a residence in Condado for 17 years. The service at the restaurant is horrendous. They can never get an order right and you wait a nice long while before they tell you that they never received your order. And real assholes about it. Like it was your fault. Another time they gave me a paper bag with handles that broke right in front of my house (I live 2 blocks away). I broke a vinegar bottle inside and cut a finger trying to pull out the other stuff inside. I brought back the bag and the broken bottle in a plastic bag with the receipt and asked the manager Sergio Hernandez if he could replace it. I am from the neighborhood it was an accident from a bag the store gave me. He told me to wait while he called a superior. After a few minutes he came back and said he spoke to someone who said no that they could not replace the bottle ($6.29). I tried to explain it was an accident and he did not want to believe me the bag handle broke. I had to take out the bag an just left it on the counter with the broken bottle. Totally insensitive to my plight. Basically too bad, tough luck. Get these clowns out of our neighborhood. read more

So happy that there is a healthy place to get food while on vacation. We are staying at the condado Vanderbilt in condado beach on ashford avenue. The fresh mart is a short walk from the hotel and has plenty of frozen and fresh food with gluten free options which we need. Upstairs is a made to order food bar with many many choices. The gluten free french toast was delicious as were the omelets. They also have various daily hot items to choose from. Have patience ordering and waiting for the food though on any given day. Some days were quick and spot on and others we waited and had to fix the order. Depends on the employees. Everyone tried though and was very friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable and sure beat the high cost of the food at our hotel. Have been back numerous times!!!!! read more

Awful organic/health store if you know better. Unfortunately in PR they don't have any competition. I am giving it three stars b/c I really like their cafeteria, food is well seasoned and reasonably priced. Service is so-so, slow, not orofessional and very distracted. The other day I went to get a banana papaya smoothie and they had "run out of bananas" ..... As I walked out back to my car, smoothie-less and dissapointed, I see a mountain of bananas right there in the produce section... Wait, what? Bye. read more

If you are looking for healthy food in the Condado area, this will work. It's a great store, just a bit small. If you have a car, there is one close to the Plaza de las Americanas mall that is bigger, with more selection. the restaurant (2nd floor in the Condado location) is awesome! I really enjoyed having healthy options close by that were reasonably priced. read more

I had a really bad experience at this supermarket. First of all, some employee seem to hate their job and don't care about the customers, not even the managers. They look like they are there just so they can get a paycheck. I went upstairs to get a chicken burger and a soup. After 20 min of waiting I asked the guy who was preparing the food if he had my order ready and he said that he didn't recive my order. He was nice and he did try to prepare my order by unfortunately they didn't even have all the ingredients to make my food. I asked for the refund and the girl manager came out to give me my money back. She didn't even apologize or ask if there was anything else they could offer me since I was there waiting for almost 30 min with no food. She didn't care at all or even look at me once. She just didn't give a damn. They are extremely incompetent. read more
