This store contained a large selection of perennials, annuals, shrubs, trees, houseplants, vegetables, planters, mulches, grass seeds, fertilizers, etcetera. I felt happy to see a selection of native plants. Hanging baskets and planters contained a variety of prearranged flowers. Prices were reasonable. I read on this store's website that they also sell foods for dogs, other domestic animals, and birds, although I have never purchased these foods. The store also offers a Best Rewards Club loyalty program. Overall, this garden center is not my favorite one, but it is very good, and I encourage people to shop here.

I was totally unsure what to do to select plants and get them to the counter and car so asked the staff. They all were so very cordial and helpful. I just got a cart outside, loaded up, and wheeled it to the counter inside. I inquired about potting soil to plant outdoors if which they had several options. They asked me some questions and then recommended both a type and amount of soil and had me pull my car to a loading spot and staff loaded into my car. Love this place! Oh and know that as of this posting it is on a nursery list with Phipps Conservatory. If you are either a Phipps Conservatory employee (full disclosure-- I am) or a Phipps Conservatory member you get a discount. Nice perk.

I recently came here for the first time in a while and was really impressed! Before coming I called…read moreto see if they carried pond plants such as water hyacinths, as I had been super disappointed by the selection at another favorite garden center recently. They said they had them and they were really nice. They weren't kidding. They had a beautiful selection of water lilies, lettuce and hyacinths and I really stocked up for my Koi pond. There was also a huge selection of flowers, plants, ornamental trees, veggies and herbs, pretty much anything you could be looking for garden-related. The customer service was fantastic as I was asked several times if there was anything specific I was looking for and if they could help me. It was nice to see several people on the floor working and anxious to be helpful to customers. I also found the prices to be really fair here. The water hyacinths were a couple of dollars less than the sad looking ones at the other place, and the couple of plants I got were priced at below what I would have paid at a big box store. I would always rather support a local business. I also remember from when I was younger that they do nice special events here such as Santa photos during the holidays. It's a very nice shop and if you have any questions about whether they have what you need, call before you go as they seem more than happy to be helpful!

I ordered a truck load delivery of topsoil and was appalled by the quality. Full of pebbles and a dust-like quality that hardly resembled soil. I called the owner to express my concerns. He returned my call and said pebbles should be minimal, but that's about all he said. We will not order or buy from him again. Side note: The owner has a "GUNS ARE WELCOME" sign hanging behind the register. While we were checking out, my 7yo asked him why he has the sign hanging since guns usually are not welcome (in our home, that'the case). The owner didn't seem able to answer and just shrugged it off. This a fair question considering that 2nd graders undergo active shooter drills on a regular basis in this country. We miss Jenkins!
