That is the last great you'll ever see in this review !!! *BEWARE* So Linda the groomer , called a week ago to set up the appointment and it had already been set . So maybe forgetfulness is the scene ... Or who knows So today was the appointment... My wife and our pup went in to Linda's Pet Grooming to meet Linda and to tell her what we wanted for our lil buddy ! (He's less than 4lbs ). My wife said she wanted him to have the teddy bear cut and to leave his legs alone and was really just a lite trim ! Linda told my wife the appointment is for an hour but would probably take 45 minutes! We waited for her call to let us know he was done and at almost 1 hr and 45 minutes we decided to stop by and see what was taking so long . I walked in and our pup was cut on his inside leg with blood showing and in 2 places and she completely just cut his facial hair way down ( not the teddy bear cut we asked for ) and his legs were to be left alone and were shaven way down! The rest of him looked terrible ! Linda made all kinds of excuses and when asked about the 1 hour allotment time and that it would probably take 45 minutes, she said " anyone that would only take and hour to groom your pet, you don't want to go to" ... We won't Linda ! We gave her her price of 50 dollars and said we have other appointments to go to our of town and need our dog back and even gave her a 20 dollar tip all in cash ! She seemed forgetful, frazzled, caught in several Inconsistencies and did terrible work much less cut our tiny dog ! We highly DO NOT Recommend this shop to anyone ! Run from this one !!!

I was nervous to go to another groomer after having a negative experience at another grooming salon…read moreshortly after moving here. A neighbor highly recommended Michelle and once Avery was grown out and unmanageable by my standards I made the call and got him in. Even with a holiday the next day (Thanksgiving) Michelle returned my call quickly and was able to schedule him one week out. The place is easy to find, everyone was friendly and talkative, and I was asked multiple times for clarifying details regarding what I wanted and my expectations. Michelle was amazing. Not only was Avery done in the time quoted, she was communicative, stayed within her price quote at drop off, and even surprised me with a cute Christmas bandana and a Polaroid of Avery after his hair cut. I am so grateful to have found this spot. I've got no complaints whatsoever. He smells great, looks great, and was clearly content with them and in the salon as he was just relaxing in a kennel when I got there. Highly recommended this spot!

He took the time to make friends with my fur babies and they immediately trusted him. He carefully planned an exclusive appointment so that my dogs got all of the attention and there weren't any stressful barks from other dogs. If my dogs got the least bit nervous he would stop to reassure them with a soft kiss on the forehead. I came in for a clip and grind but he explained the need for a little more nail and did the grind only. The combo price would have been $10 each but because he skipped the clip he charged me only $10 for both. Needless to say I gave him a big tip. I greatly recommend.

Adopter Beware! I recently adopted a 6 month old pup from…read morethe Oregon Coast Humane Society. A day or two later the dog was sneezing thick yellow mucus. when i called i was told maybe she was "just getting used to the new environment", but it was also mentioned that there was "some kennel cough going around" in the facility (why want i told before?). the puppy recovered, but by then my other (fully vaccinated) dog and my sons 2 dogs (including a 2 month old puppy) were all infected with this highly contagious illness. my 2 year old dog ended up the sickest, barely able to breath and not eating or drinking for several days, it took her a month to fully recover. meanwhile, we did the responsible thing (which the kennel should have done) and isolated all of our dogs so no others would suffer as mine had. I paid a higher than expected adoption fee ($500) but rationalized that it was for a good cause. however, i am now under the impression that this kennel gets shipments of dogs and puppies and after only a couple of days makes them available to go out into the community. makes me wonder if it's about turning their "inventory" quickly, even if it means starting a possible epidemic in their community? my dog was lucky, but if she'd been old or unhealthy she might not have made it through the illness. I would not adopt from here again nor would i bring an animal to this facility. ask a lot of questions and isolate any animal if you choose to adopt from there, because they don't do it for you! that being said the staff were all very nice, but they need a policy to isolate and observe for a month, rather than 2-3 days, in order to protect the animal community when they bring shipments of animals in
