My wife called several weeks ago to make an appointment to have our teacup poodle groomed . Because ,she saw the great reviews ... That is the last great you'll ever see in this review !!! *BEWARE* So Linda the groomer , called a week ago to set up the appointment and it had already been set . So maybe forgetfulness is the scene ... Or who knows So today was the appointment... My wife and our pup went in to Linda's Pet Grooming to meet Linda and to tell her what we wanted for our lil buddy ! (He's less than 4lbs ). My wife said she wanted him to have the teddy bear cut and to leave his legs alone and was really just a lite trim ! Linda told my wife the appointment is for an hour but would probably take 45 minutes! We waited for her call to let us know he was done and at almost 1 hr and 45 minutes we decided to stop by and see what was taking so long . I walked in and our pup was cut on his inside leg with blood showing and in 2 places and she completely just cut his facial hair way down ( not the teddy bear cut we asked for ) and his legs were to be left alone and were shaven way down! The rest of him looked terrible ! Linda made all kinds of excuses and when asked about the 1 hour allotment time and that it would probably take 45 minutes, she said " anyone that would only take and hour to groom your pet, you don't want to go to" ... We won't Linda ! We gave her her price of 50 dollars and said we have other appointments to go to our of town and need our dog back and even gave her a 20 dollar tip all in cash ! She seemed forgetful, frazzled, caught in several Inconsistencies and did terrible work much less cut our tiny dog ! We highly DO NOT Recommend this shop to anyone ! Run from this one !!! read more

We rescued Harry November of 2025, with no idea how he would handle grooming. Linda has now seen 5-6 times and Harry, as well as us, love her. She's been so helpful in giving us tips both on grooming and his schnauzer personality and traits. That's been very helpful. Ethical and knowledgeable grooming shop.. As for the 1star review !!! Read between the lines. You are an Unethical breeder. As for the sore!!! This is your fault! The sore is caused from severe matting. When this happens it actually restricts the blood flow to the surrounding tissue. When the Matt is finally removed blood rushes to the area and this causes the dog a tingling sensation like when your arm falls asleep at night. The dog then scratches this area. To further compound the issue this area is already sensitive and damaged from the matting. A groomer uses a short blade to remove the Matt because it's the only way to get under it because of how close it is to the skin the Matt is. This whole situation is preventable with proper home care. The groomer is not at fault at all in this situation and the blame falls squarely on the owners shoulders for her neglect. read more

We are new to the central coast and couldn't find anyone local to help with grooming our long-haired tortie Abbey. When I called that morning last summer, Linda said we were welcome to come on up and she'd take a look. So we drove all the way from North Bend and boy are we glad we did. Linda made short work of our kitty's tangles and made her feel right at home. Abbey can be a bit nervous with people but she absolutely loves Linda! Within 20 minutes she had Abbey looking like a show kitty! So fluffy and happy! She showed me how to do preventive maintenance and shared tips that make me a better kitty mom. I've taken my toy poodle Harley to Linda a couple times when I lived in Florence. I no longer live there but have no issue with Linda's Pet Grooming. I found Linda to be very helpful and she did an excellent dog on grooming my dog and poodles are not the easiest breed to groom. Linda did an amazing job on my nervous golden retriever. he looked and smelled amazing. he did have some mating in a few places. Linda explained that because my golden retriever was matted behind the ear (this was my fault not Linda's) she had to get under the mat and could not brush it out as it's painful. she also explained that the blood is restricted from the mat pulling so tight so it would be itchy once the blood rushes back to the area and my dog may scratch and to watch him. she also explained that the skin is sensitive in this area and to expect some redness because she has to use a short blade and go under the mat. (this was again not her fault but mine for not getting in sooner.) i see the other review and want to say take better care of your dog and stop blaming Linda for your neglect. I learned my lesson and will always pre book with Linda to make sure this does not happen again to my pup. read more

I've brought my girl to have her nails trimmed over four times and counting. Linda is able to get my dog's nails clipped and feet trimmed quickly and without causing my dog any stress. Very affordable, have never had to wait more than a day to see her, highly recommended. J. Bailey. read more

The person who gave Linda a 1 star review should look at herself. I'm betting the 'cut' they showed in the picture is actually a sore from their dog scratching itself because of the ear infection. And she probably shaved the belly because of mats which have a tendency to form in that area; something the person probably didn't even notice nor brushes out. As to 'washing' her ears, I'm pretty sure she said she 'cleaned' them as no one who knows anything about dogs knows not to get water in a dogs' ears. I did notice that she pulled the hair out of my dogs ears, which is something a good groomer would know to do. I learned about this from a dog trainer and so know that none of the other groomers I've taken them to have known to do this. I have no complaints about the way my dogs were cut. She did a good job with them. As to her advice, she told me about a dog flu that was due to arrive in Oregon in the summer. She got this advice from her vet and I was glad to know about it so that I can get them vaccinated for this. I bet the owner's ire came from her telling them not to breed a dog who gets ear infections. 3 of them is too many as far as I'm concerned. I have had many dogs and none of them have EVER had an ear infection. I think that she just cares a lot about dogs and only wants to be helpful, letting owners know what's going on regarding our dogs. PS - As to the 4 1/2 hour time frame, she was able to cut both our dogs in that length of time. I bet that person's dog was in bad shape so that it took longer to groom. So I'd take the 1 star review with a grain of salt. read more

I brought my 3 year old dog to be groomed and for a trim. I explained that my dog had an ear infection and not to wash her ears out, but to put cotton in them when grooming (she was on antibiotics). I also told her that we believed her to be pregnant so to treat her with care. I got a call to come pick her up about 4.5 hours later (seemed a bit long to me, but I've waited longer elsewhere). When I arrived it was clear that I would not be able to see my dog before paying. She decided to lecture me about breeding my dog stating that her ear infection was genetic and a responsible breeder would spay her. She has had 3 ear infections in 3 years, It is not genetic. My dog has also gone through over $1000 in tests prior to breeding to ensure she and the pups would be healthy. She then told me she must have food allergies. I believe she was confusing herself with a vet at this point and continued to give me all sorts of "information". I tried to polity listen for her to finish and request my dog. I had already paid, but she seemed intent on continuing her "informative conversation" with me. I requested my dog and then she proceeded to tell me what she did. She told me she washed her ears out (I explicitly said not to) and put in some sort of powder! She washed all the antibiotic ointment out. I was mad, but said that was ok since I assumed she must have forgotten I said not to. When I got home I was mortified to see the CHOP JOB she did on my poor pup. She cut her behind her ear when she shaved some fur and completely SHAVED her belly! She trimmed up her arm hair all the way up to the leg and it was such a horribly bad job, uneven and choppy everywhere. She also for some reason shaved under her neck! Why!? This groomer has no idea how to trim or shave any dog and should not offer to do so. The only thing you should ever allow her to do is bath the dog and even then I would say it is not worth it. *This groomer cut my dog leaving an open wound behind the ear, and then never told me about it. *She did a complete chop job with the trim and it looks awful and uneven. *She shaved her belly when I requested a trim. *For some reason she left two little shave marks under my dogs chin. *She washed out my dogs ears when I requested that she not touch them. *She gave a lot of unwanted lectures and "advise". Sad experience all around. I feel awful that I took my dog here. read more
