In an industry that should have at least good customer service, it is the worst. Website has no way to find a location of a plot. No way to speak on the phone. Tried calling for 3 hours no one picks up. Can't leave a message for a call back. Automated Message says " Your message is important to us,we are busy call back later". Over three hours of trying to call back and getting that same message. Have they heard of an answering machine at least to take messages ? I tried to reach office to purchase a plot.. figuring looking for business they'll pick up the phone. Sure enough gentleman ( not gentle) picks up however when I asked if perhaps he can help me he immediately and nastily said no this is the mausoleum. I can't help you you have to talk to the office I tried to explain that they don't pick up .. he responded that's not my problem He transferred the call and sure enough once again the automated message picks up and says call back later. I never would've ever thought about reviewing a cemetery. Nobody should be dying to get into this cemetery. read more

I have a few relatives buried here. This seems to beThe Manor of Jewish cemeteries. So many other ceremonies going on at once you can very easily lose your own family and find yourself standing with another group of mourners. read more

If your looking for a cemetery on yelp... They need to do a better job with the landscaping. I thought it was sad I had to clean off ground level markers because they had years of grass clipping on them. Now I know why my parents were always joking about bringing a weed waker with them. It's a scavenger hunt trying to find family in here, info from main office wasn't exactly spot on. Spent an hour trying to find a grave site that was supposed to be in row "A" only to find it in middle of the back 40. read more

I buried my twin brother here 3 weeks ago exactly. The entire thing was a tragic shit show if I may say. Everything was delayed but that wasn't even the worse part. My brother was 6'2" and 295 lbs, given we don't embalm or do autopsies because of religious reasons, he was obviously expanding. They placed him in the worlds smallest pine box imaginable. My pitbull probably would have been too big for it. And as they're moving him from the hearse IT POPS OPEN BECAUSE HE DID NOT FIT. At that point I was sick to my stomach and just a mess and crying hysterically. The rabbi then says we cannot continue with the burial. Excuse me? So what would we do then? I was outraged while grieving the hardest thing I've ever had to do. To actually bury him we had to get duct tape and bungee cords to wrap around and seal the pine box. This all in all was traumatizing and out right horrible. There are large people in the world they should be prepared to have larger pine boxes. Such a shame all the money that was sucked out of our family for that to happen. read more

Very disappointing support. Difficult to reach anyone by phone, never responds to 3 emails asking for information and will not help with foot stones and monuments that are already there. Maybe they need new management !!! read more

How one can "Review" a Cemetery is something that you need to ask yourself. But - as of the past few years - I have been struggling with some "Family Issues" that involved the Cemetery. Staff was helpful and efficient & got down to the root of the problem. They "Men" who roam around the cemetery are unique - but, at the end of the day - they are very helpful and respectful. read more

A nightmare of a place after traffic loss. You will be charged thousands of dollars ( even though the plots were bought and paid for many years ago) and be asked to sign contracts to eventually use in law suits to suck more money out of you. The office help are sarcastic and cold. I wish my family had not bought plots years ago. read more

I will start off my saying that if there is any way to avoid this cemetery, do so. I am a rabbi, and my family has had a presence at Cedar Park beginning with both sets of grandparents. Keep in mind as tyou read this that I have served as rabbi at many funerals in the Washington, DC area, and have experienced the exact opposite of what I did on the day of my mother's funeral. I recently buried my mother at Cedar Park. Words cannot adequately describe the lack of chesed - kindness- shown to us. I begin with our arrival on the day of burial. To not be greeted by a representative is puzzling, especially consisering that the office resembles walking into a large department store customer service department. When we arrived at the gravesite, I found that 2 large boxes had been placed inside the grave. I understand all too well the pratice of using a grave as a geniza to bury siddurim and the like that are no longer usable. But we were never asked if it was OK with us. That is a lack of kindness. Then when my mother's casket was placed on the tope of the grave with poles to hold them, the rep asked if we would like the casket to be lowered right away or if we weanted itt o remain up. I said that we wanted it to be up. "How long willt he service be?" he asked. "Perhaps 20 minutes 1/2 or longer, I don't know" I replied. "Oh, the poles won't hold it that long" I was told, "we'll have to lower it now". I was aghast. My mother wighed no more than 85 pounds. If they do not have the apparatus to hold the casket for more than 20 minutes for her, under what circumstances would the casket NOT be lowered? Their offering me a choice was no choice as all. Next, and perhaps the most aggregious, us that after our service we all wanted to linger to visit the other graves of our family. Almost immediately a rep told us that we needed to move out of the way, because the bulldozer was coming to fill in the grave. I was shocked that we were not given a moment of reprieve. A large bulldozer soon appeared and began the process of filling the grave. So while we all stood by, a construction site size tractor moved in and filled in the grave. When I shared all this with my contact at a cemetery that often calls me, he called it "unconscionable". I pray that this review will stir the cemetery to look at their practice, and begin to treat it less as a business and more as a service. If I could have given it no stars, I would have. read more

My husband's parents purchased a family plot there. I agree with all other reviews about NIGHTMARE of a place. My husband passed away and wanted to be there so of course it's what I did. Staff were cold, unkind, unhelpful. At the burial, they kept me in the car until the casket has been lowered and cemetery staff had left. I wasn't allowed to touch it one more time or to watch it being lowered. The rabbi tried to console me by saying the ground was very soft and they couldn't keep it raised. But why not tell me that at outset and give me one more chance to touch it. In the subsequent year, when I called about the foot stone (I had never done this before) they practically yelled at me because I didn't quite know what to ask. Barking the instructions about REQUIREMENTS for the size as if I'm a new recruit in the military. It's hard to describe how awful that is when you're grieving the loss of your partner and best friend. During subsequent visits I've gotten lost. They give awful directions with the attitude of a toll booth clerk. (There was one exception last week where the woman took the trouble to advise I go a completely different way and I found the grave in less than the usual (miserable) 45 minutes). And let's not talk about the graft for stone setting, plot maintenance. Of course there is no "competition" because no one else is allowed to do it. I have no idea who these people are, but truly wonder that they have any self respect. It doesn't seem like it would be difficult to "fix" this. His siblings chose to be buried elsewhere to spare more of the family the grief of this place. read more
