Where do I begin? First, if you could give 0 stars, I would. I tried to make an appointment for a couples massage the day before. This was not allowed and I had to call the same day for an appointment. I specified a couples massage. I arrived a little early and was glad that we could be taken back about 15 minutes early. However, there was no way to accommodate a couples massage. it had to be done in 2 separate rooms, which defeated the purpose of being there. Then the massage started and the therapist was massaging through a sheet for about 15 minutes. When asked if she could massage without the sheet, I was told "wait". I asked several times to decrease pressure with "it's too hard" or "please be more gentle" but each time it got worse, not better. I continued to squirm and flinch during my massage, which wasn't a cue to check in or decrease pressure. After 50 minutes of massage, I was informed "all done". During the entire massage Inwas laying on my stomach and hadn't flipped over to work my neck and shoulders. When asked if I am supposed to turn over because I still had 10 minutes left, I was told "no. not part." When it was time to check out I was expecting to pay $160 +tip, but was charged a $10 fee for using a credit card. There was no mention of this anywhere in writing prior to being charged. I understand it costs merchants about 3% for credit cards, but this was unnecessarily excessive. And anyone else in business just accepts credit card as payment. I would say the only redeeming qualities of this "spa" was a clean restroom and offering a small bottle of water and a piece of candy upon check out. read more
