Great place to get a smog check, and the price was cheaper than a lot of other places I looked at. I didn't get the name of the guy who helped me, but he was super honest. He noticed that my air intake hose was faulty and told me to get it fixed first instead of continuing with the smog check and charging me for a failed test. I really appreciated that. I got it fixed and came back the following week with no issues. Definitely recommend this place for smog checks, and I'd come back for an oil change too! read more

Emanuel (Manny) was super helpful and honest and gave a great price! Very knowledgeable and not pushy at all like other places I have been. Definitely coming here for future services! read more

Bestech Smog Check - Smog Check Stations Near Me - San Ramon, California

Needed to get my car smogged and thought to come to this place. Arrived to the place and walked towards the open garage. Not one auto tech in sight. Went inside the gas station mart and the guy says they don't have anything to do with them and that someone should be there. Went back to the open garage yelling hello and no response. Decided to call and ask if they're open. The gentleman who answers says no they're not open and that the smog tech was not in. Well then why have a garage open at all?! Not a great first experience and plan to make it my last. read more

I have left many yelp reviews for restaurants, but this is the first time I am leaving a review for a smog check center. This is the first time I had service that was so exceptional that I felt I should leave a review. Thanks again to Hatice for her professional, quick, and courteous service. I will be back at Bestech for all of my future smog checks. read more

Bestech Smog Check - Getting a smog check down. - Smog Check Stations Near Me - San Ramon, California

Super easy and quick. Well, I guess quick is always relative, right? So I come here on a weekday in the middle of the week to get my smog check for my car. This is my first time needing to do a smog check. I found this place because I had a coupon for this place and with the coupon, it is the cheapest but keep in mind, the coupon says CASH price. So please bring cash. I assume it'll cost a little bit more with a credit card. I called ahead to ask about pricing/coupon, hours/availability. No appointments needed - just drop in. So I come here, this shares with one of the gas station off San Ramon Valley Blvd. It can be tricky entering this lot depending where you're coming from. Once I arrived, I told them what I was here for and he told me it'll be 15 minutes. I pull my car up and he said there's chairs so I can wait. I decide to walk around and come back in 10-15 minutes. It was done. Easy breezy and cheapest smog in the area. Definitely would recommend with a coupon! read more

Experience was nice, it was quick and I enjoyed the conversation with the person handling.

I gave 5 stars few months ago because I had a great service. Today I went back again to get other car smog checked but this time was totally opposite from my last visit so, I left without getting smog checked. Their price changed so I told him he charged me differently 2months ago. Then he told me he didn't want to deal with my kind of people!! What kind of people do I have to be able to talk to him? I felt I was treated poorly and he was racist. I do not recommend this place to get a smog check!! read more

Good response and quick, friendly. Did the smog test in 10 mins. I will recommend this place

Hatice performed the smog test. Super friendly and finished the test quickly and had me on my way. Great service!

Rude on the phone. Website says best price in SR. Their quote was not the best price. Nor would they match. Which is fine, but don't be rude about it. read more

I went in for smog and had a great experience. It was quick (25 minutes including wait time and billing), and priced competitively. Their technician Hatice Eriqat was super efficient, friendly and customer centric. While waiting I noticed how patiently she explained the smog results / follow ups to another customer. Great attitude! Highly recommend. read more

Needed to get a smog test, and Bestech came up first in my search results. Hatice was super nice and very fast in smogging my car. She was super efficient and because of my procrastination with the registration, she recommended me that I can go to triple AAA to get my registration done. I totally forgot about this, and I am super appreciative for Hatice telling me. Prices were also great and reasonable. This place is where I will take my car for my smog test needs! read more

Second time for a smog at this place and good service both times. Found a coupon and charged exactly what I expected. Quick and friendly.

Fast, efficient, and friendly. What more can you ask for from a smog place? Remember to bring a coupon from the local Your Town Monthly coupon mailer for the best deal. ($36.75 with coupon (MY2000 and newer vehicles) + $8.25 for certificate + $2 credit card fee = $47) Also, if you're a AAA member, there's a AAA right across the street with DMV services. You can get smogged and your registration renewed in less than 30 minutes with minimal fuss. You'll find cheaper smog places if you venture over the hill into Oakland, but why waste $20 in gas + time to save $10? Just go to Bestech with a coupon and be done with it. read more

Bestech Smog Check - Bestech smog - Smog Check Stations Near Me - San Ramon, California

Definitely go here for a smog check! I called other "STAR Inspection" businesses nearby & they're charging $60-80 for a simple smog check with certificate. But Bestech charged me $45 CASH for the same service. I was told it'd be $2 more on credit card.* I was helped quickly & professionally by Jose who performed the entire service in 6 minutes! I'm happy this business provides quality & value for my money. *For reference, I have a 2014 Scion FRS. I recommend to call beforehand for proper quote on your make & model. read more

Worst place to go for any work. The staff is extremely inexperienced and rude. They wanted to drill a hole in my car (Yes! using a drill machine) so they can fit a non standard screw, as they ran out of standard screws that would fit. This is after the work they did on my car which resulted in my car breaking down on the highway. read more
