Best Western - Road Trip Practicality Over Fancy Arrived 4/19-4/21 2026 We do a lot of long road trips, this one being a full six weeks, so priorities shift. At this point, I'll take a place where I can park right outside my door over a fancy, overpriced hotel any day. Convenience wins when you're living out of a suitcase. This location checked that box well. Easy access, practical, and overall a solid stop for the night. That said... breakfast. I've noticed over time that Best Western's breakfast quality has slipped a bit, and this location didn't help change that impression. What really threw me off was that it wasn't self-serve. Instead, you're standing there while someone portions your food. Not ideal when all you want is a quick, easy start to the day. A little "wait, what?" moment. The tougher part was the service during breakfast. Both mornings, the servers felt cold and uninviting. No warmth, no friendliness, and definitely none of that Southern charm you kind of hope for when you're traveling through the region. Overall, it did the job, and I'd still choose this kind of setup for road trips. But a better breakfast experience, both in quality and attitude, would make a big difference. read more

Best Western Winners Circle was our first overnight stay in our first visit ever to Arkansas on 7.19.2025. It also was a last minute change on my part. I had our entire itinerary planned and hotels reserved back in March, then decided to make a few changes after listening to a few new-to-me places from a friend who has been to Arkansas with her husband several times. Our 2 double beds room was $160.68. It's one of the nicest Best Westerns we had ever stayed at. That being said, it's not glitzy. Both beds were super stiff and uncomfortable. Of course my kids didn't complain because they are young. Lol. Dogs 30 lbs or less were welcome for a one-time $25 non-refundable fee per stay. My daughters and I loved their outdoor pool which closed at 10:30 PM. It was by far the cleanest pool we had used all year. Most of the staff members were all extremely friendly and used words like "sweetheart" and "darlin'." Just get over it if you usually don't appreciate niceties, manners, and that sort of thing. The breakfast had actual service - not the usual do-it-yourself set-up at most BWs. Kind of like cafeteria style, but they also brought plates out to customers. It just depended on the item. This is the best motel/hotel breakfast experience I've ever had for a complimentary/included with the room stay breakfast. I've stayed here twice. I've traveled all over the US and the world. I feel I can comment with some level of authority based on my own experiences and the breadth of them. The staff here are incredibly friendly. From the call ahead of the reservation confirming check in details - to the clean rooms and comfortable beds - this Best Western located directly across from the horse race track in Hot Springs is awesome! The staff serves breakfast cafeteria style with the friendly fervor of a cook to order grill where the cook engages with friendly banter and enthusiastically communicates order status out loud to all in hearing distance. They offer waffles, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy - plus oatmeal, fresh fruit, cereal, boiled eggs, milk, juice and coffee. It's not the Ritz - but neither is Hot Springs NYC. It's definitely a motel scene - the rooms all face outside with no internal hallways. Just the same - the property has a fence all around the perimeter and one side available for entrance/exit. It's feels safe and secure and we've never had an issue. They even offer a boat washing station complete with pressure washing (to need), cloths and a brush. The property has a pool on site, during the season, operating from 9a-10p. They offer golf cart shuttle service to the races (in season) if that's your pleasure. This hotel/motel offers one of the best all around experiences I've enjoyed when traveling. They also have a pool for use with hours (in season) between 9a-10p. In a funny comparison - I recall several times in my years I have paid for high class, luxury accommodations - one such time, recently, at a top of the line, boutique hotel owned and operated by one of the large hotel chains in the world. The service was awful and the room was dirty. A similar experience happened in another city in which I traveled a few years ago. Because of these experiences - I have learned to stay in moderate priced properties where cleanliness and good customer service is expected and when it happens - it is appreciated. But when it fails - my wallet is not as offended as my sensitivities. If that's what you're looking for - this place is for you and I think you will be pleasantly surprised at a piece of Americana - long thought lost - but very much alive in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. read more

We've been doing a cross-country drive and had considerably lowered our expectations for affordable hotels as we traveled. This Best Western pleasantly surprised us. The front desk staff was friendly, fast and professional, made an excellent suggestion when we asked for a good pizza place that delivers, and this morning, the included breakfast was fresh and good and served cafeteria-style by friendly staff. I felt bad giving a two only because it's such a bad part of town. Breakfast was included (a good variety of tasty choices) and the ladies were so nice I had to make it a three. Thank them and tip them well. A negative: hubby went early to get me a cup of coffee. Because of Covid restrictions there's only one line. All these travelers and only one line. Even for coffee because the breakfast ladies are serving basically everything. Unfortunately he was stuck behind 2 young, giggly girls who wanted everything & kept changing their minds. "I want waffles and bacon, no sausage, and eggs and a pastry. . . ", etc. The place shows some wear and parts are dated. But it was clean & not lacking. Only reason gave it a 4 star is ... I wanted a handicap accessible room you would think it have a walk in shower . I am handicap i can't lift my leg into a tub or stand in a tub due to my condition . Yes there was handicap bars . The room was very clean . Close distant to casino. Maybe in future think of us handicap folks who need walk in showers .. Have stayed in worse places than the 2 star rated Best Western Winners Circle. The rooms are adequate, clean with a decent quality breakfast provided each day. The appliances and room decor could be upgraded, along with security but honestly, for a two star industry rated hotel, this Best Western is 100% in line with those standards. A pool is available, I didn't see available gyms nearby but proximity to the horse racing track is directly across the street. Recommended for those on a budget. Would stay again and I'm not a motel person. A little dated on the inside/outside but bed was comfy, hot water with great water pressure. It was clean and safe. Breakfast was served to you hot which consisted of eggs (didn't seem real), biscuits (sausage gravy), bacon, sausage, waffles, pastries(limited selection) oranges/bananas, yogurt, cereal, coffee, oatmeal/grits packages, apple/orange juice. Syrups/peanut butter, etc. DOG PARK was such a nice hidden plus. Pet friendly rooms. We didn't use the pool but it was clean. Nearly across the street from Oaklawn casino. Highly recommend walking to grab a pizza at Rocky's corner next door. Casino is easily walking distance. About 2 miles from bathhouse row. My only tip would be to check into booking directly vs using using a third party cost me more than booking directly would've. read more

My husband and I have been here at least three other times. Never have had a bad stay. Staff is always helpful, and very accommodating. The breakfast is good, simple because of COVID-19. The moment I walked in & was greeted by Shannon who works at the Front Desk she was so sweet, friendly, talkative & very helpful on activities to do & restaurants to go to. My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable & the breakfast was good. The breakfast ladies who helped serve me & my wife was Alisa & Julie. They were very nice & friendly. I stay at a lot of hotels for work/ pleasure & everything was amazing! I wanted to do something romantic for my new wife & Shannon found the horse carriage rides that are done downtown I was told & Shannon also found a restaurant called the Vault, which was really nice, romantic & not a chain restaurant which was a plus. I'll admit, when I came up to this hotel I was a little concerned based on the exterior. It looks old, worn down, and I'm not a fan of hotels or motels with doors that open right out to the open (no internal hallway). However, the rooms were nice enough and the free breakfast was a good touch that I would probably come back if given the opportunity. I was in town to visit the Hot Springs National Park just up the road. It had been a long day of hiking so I was looking forward to crashing in my hotel room for the rest of the night. Check-in was easy, straightforward, and I was given helpful driving directions for the best place to park my car. The interior of the room was bright and much bigger than I expected. I had a king room in the corner of the building which had a comfortable bed, and several chairs for others to sit. Bathroom and shower was also clean and I had no complaints. Breakfast in the morning had a lot of different selections. These free hotel breakfasts are never anything to write home about. I find those with the most variety leave the best lasting impression, and that was certainly the case with this offering. Great options and was a great way to start the day for me. read more

I booked my room online and when I arrived realized I had booked the completely wrong day! The girl at the front desk was extremely helpful and was able to book a new room for me. My room was very clean and the bed was perfect! I've never been a fan of the free breakfast that hotels offer but the breakfast here was a true exception! The lady who served breakfast was very friendly and the food was not only filling, but delicious! I would highly recommend staying here when you visit Hot Springs. read more

3 stars for the motel, 5 for the exemplary customer service. 4 average PROS - Great, super friendly, honest & helpful staff - very eye clean room - super comfortable beds - Microwave and fridge - HD TV with lots of channels - standard auto lock door, deadbolt AND chain lock - Free parking - full hot breakfast including eggs, sausage/bacon, packaged pastries, biscuits, sausage cream gravy, yogurt, fruit, cereal, milk, fruit juice, teas, coffee, sometimes homemade pastries - Homemade pastries at breakfast (best part of the breakfast in my opinion). Some of the most delicious pastries I have ever eaten) - Great location (around an hour or less from most crystal mines) and close to highways, restaurants and stores - sink separate from toilet/shower - lots of sink counter space - Great shower - Dog park - Ice machine (though door broken and open) - vending machines - pool - fitness center - on the whole very quiet when inside the room (except for the bikers who never met a muffler they didn't decapitate and bury at sea on sight) We didn't even hear our neighbors once. - Casino/racetrack right across the street that your can't hear CONS - frequently changing wifi password. You have to remember to keep requesting it. - motel (I stay at them at times but prefer hotels) - Table with only 2 chairs in a room that can accommodate up to 4. (Though there was also a bench near the bathroom it was not really all that comfy for just sitting or trying to eat). - bed size. Most double rooms have queen size beds. These seemed more like Twin XLs (slightly smaller than a full) - Two tiny trash cans only, like half the size of the average bathroom wastebasket each - Hardly any towels - A couple of instances of a sketchy person or two outside at night though overall the location felt ok - Weak AC unit can not keep up with the room size. Freezing next to unit and bed 1 (if put at lowest temp) but barely tolerable by the time it reaches the restroom - especially when it's hot out. Stingy with towels in your room but generous if you go to the lobby and get them. If staying multiple days, request how ever many sets you think you will need for your whole stay and grab them when you check in or go to breakfast. Breakfast 6a - 10a. Super friendly staff all around. Decent fare, especially the homemade pastries which are absolutely divine. Super honest staff. One person in my party left a ring. They called to let us know they had found it and even went so far as to mail it back to us. Overall would we stay there again? I can't say yes but I wouldn't rule it out either. read more

Kim and Ashley at the front desk were so kind! Very excited to meet our dog and us too! They are genuine and kind and so helpful. She gave us a map of the place and put us in a room next to a grassy area since we had a dog with us. Our room was huge I walked in and almost thought we had paid for a suite but it was just one large room! So spacious and included a table with two chairs, several places to put luggage or could be used as extra seating, the bathroom had a night light feature and a HEATER! We also loved that the room included a microwave and fridge which not everyone offers anymore. Everything was extremely clean, water was hot and there was good water pressure too! They had several vending and ice machines so no one had to walk far at all for these amenities. We LOVED the dog park! It was amazing to have a double fenced area on site where our dog could run around off leash, especially since we didn't play much with him in the hotel room (he gets rowdy and barks when we play!). Sam at breakfast went above and beyond to make our time there spectacular. She hand makes the cinnamon rolls at 4am every morning. The breakfast was easily the best I've had at any hotel ever!! Sam also made waffles for me, cleared our plates when finished, and she even wrapped up my extras to bring back to the room! Everyone here was so helpful and accommodating and just over the top genuinely friendly. This is probably the best experience I've ever had at a hotel (and I've traveled to 21 different countries and many states). Plus for the price you honestly can't beat it. The location was very close to downtown and the national park (5-10 min depending on traffic), but it was out far enough that parking and over crowing wasn't a concern at all. Several fast food places and gas stations down the street, and very easy access from the highway. I just can't say enough good things about this place. Bed was like a hammock. Very uncomfortable and I tossed and turned all night long with little sleep.

3 friends and 1 stayed here for one night over Memorial Day weekend and everyone was so friendly and nice. Great breakfast, clean rooms, and just all around great service. When we checked out and left I actually left a bag in my room with my ID and some cash and other things in it and they called me and held it for me until I was able to come back the next day and get it. And everything was in there. Nothing was taken out and that was truly amazing. I will definitely be staying here again when I need a room in hot springs read more

There isn't an option for a NO STAR! I'm a real estate broker and I've never seen such. DO NOT STAY HERE. AIR DOESNT WORK! Rooms are OLD AND NOT WORTH THE 390$ we paid for 2 nights!! We had PRIVACY PLEASE on the door. They came in anyway and violated our privacy in our room! Called us ALL DAY LONG about our little sweet jolly barking!! If they hadn't came in the room and antagonized him HE WOULDNT HAVE BARKED AT ALL!! They say they accept dogs but actually they HATE DOGS! They told us our dog was Chinese water torcher!! REALLY! Do NOT waste your time on this RAT HOLE! UGLY! RUDE AND WE WILL NEVER BE BACK! You would think booking ahead of time will guarantee that your room will be ready when it's check in time. All I got was excuses that people checked out late so the cleaning crew is late at cleaning up. If your check out time is 11am, then your guests should have checked out by then. You would have 4 hours to clean the reserved rooms and have them ready for your guests at 3 pm. It's currently 3:45 as I write this review. My room is not ready. Instead of offering me some kind of discount or actually sounding sincere, the front desk woman (Mary) made it seem like I'm the reason why they aren't finished cleaning. I don't know what her problem was. The other front desk lady was very nice. And I had gone and came back three times just to know that my room is still not ready. "15 mins" was definitely not 15 mins. I'm not told where or when the complementary breakfast is. I'm not told what's around this area. I'm just spoke to rudely. It doesn't matter how nice or clean this place is, the customer service just from the front desk is enough to deter me from this place. I'm so disappointed this is the kind of service I got from a Best Western. Update: Breakfast is great and their staff is so wonderful and the morning front desk clerk is very nice. So unfortunate I had to deal with Mary which ruined my initial experience. Changing my 2 star to a 4 star rating because everything but Mary was good. read more

This motel is located across the street from a Casino and Horse Race Track. This is either positive or negative depending on the purpose of your stay and when you stay. Our first night here was on a Saturday. The last horse race of the day was just over when we arrived and the place was packed and it was very loud that night. The second night the place was almost empty and it was so quiet. The purpose of our visit was to see the national park and the town and not the Casino or horse racing. I would not recommend staying here on a weekend unless the purpose of your trip is the casino/horse racing. I would recommend staying during the week. Our room was clean except for urine I noticed at the base of the toilet (yuk) evidently overlooked by housekeeping. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. I ate an orange each morning and it was fresh. The ladies were extremely kind and helpful. They wore masks and filled your plate for you. The location was not within walking distance to Hot Springs Bathhouse Row but we did not have difficulty finding a place to part at the free parking garage. read more

I called this motel on the road (~6pm, 11/13/16), in the middle of Nowhere, Oklahoma, in a very loud Jeep. We could barely hear each other, but she was super friendly and patient nonetheless. I needed to reserve 2 rooms and I was practically shouting my credit card info over the phone when the call dropped. When I called back the same lady answered, still friendly and patient, and we picked up where we left off. The same lady checked us in an hour later and we laughed about the whole thing. The motel itself is clean, tacky decor aside (I'm not taking away stars for tacky decor - this is a $60/night motel). The area feels safe, the neighborhood was quiet as the horse races across the street apparently don't begin til next month. Check out Rocky's Corner next door! Such an awesome little Italian pizzeria with AWESOME local craft beer, try the 100-Point Bock and the Honey Love! Sorry - back to Best Western: The continental breakfast was AWESOME! The lady (gosh dangit I wish I'd gotten names! This was this morning, 11/14/16, give these folks raises!) was super helpful, informative, and sweet. She called all of us "baby" and bussed our table, thanked us on our way out, and shouted "thanks" and "see y'all soon" as we drove out 30 minutes later. We needed to book for one more night and that was no problem - the morning desk clerk was also super friendly and helpful, despite her computers being down and her being super busy. ONE thing - their soap is weird. Makes you feel sticky while showering, once you're completely dry your skin feels dry as well. I still won't take away a star because I feel like this motel has some unfair reviews. I say give it a chance :) read more

Super rate for a pretty decent hotel. Could the grout in the bathrooms use stripping? Yes. Is there a thick layer of dust on the vent fan in the bathroom? Oh gosh yes! It's true, no 5 here but otherwise it's clean, quiet and very close to everything. 5 minute walk gets you to a casino, a great Chicago food joint, a taco place or some country cooking. 6 minute drive (or a little over 1.5 mile walk if you're not as lazy as I am) lands you on bathhouse row and the national park. And with rates like we paid (less than $240 for 3 nights, including a Friday and Saturday) it makes it a great value IMO. read more

Leslie L., you are a SAINT! The accommodations at this Best Western location were an incredible value, but the true basis for this 5-star review is the staff. Anecdote: My girlfriend left a sentimental blanket from her childhood at the hotel when we checked out, and it wasn't until we reached St. Louis that we discovered the blanket was missing. From the moment I called the front desk and reached Leslie L., notifying her of the situation, her fiery passion to find and return to us the missing blanket made clear that this matter was being taken seriously and assuaged any concerns we had that we would never see the blanket again. Not only did Leslie L. continue to keep in contact with me, providing updates, but she also informed me of various shipping options and prices once she did finally locate the missing blanket, presumably with the incredible housekeeping staff's help. From the bottom of my heart, I just want to say thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to Leslie L. and the rest of the truly kind and diligent staff at BWWC. You turned a nightmare into non-issue, and you deserve recognition for going above and beyond. I hope you get the credit you deserve from upper management. Wow, first review! Spacious room....refreshing and big pool that goes to 9 feet....

From the outside the place looked like a pretty mediocre place to stay but when I checked out the reviews we were sold. 9.0 rating on booking.com and the price was perfect. We got to our room and it was clean, nice and updated. I was very pleased with this room. It was only a short Uber ride Away from the downtown area which was our preferred way to go since the parking downtown is pretty slim if it's busy. The breakfast in the morning was great as well. We arrived before 3pm check in. Leslie had housekeeping check the room to make sure it was ready and it was. The ac was very cold, the room was good other then 2 full sized beds instead of a king or queen but there was only my husband and myself and we each had a bed. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast area had freshly made cinnamon rolls that smelled delicious even though I couldn't eat them. The pool looked nice but we were able to use it because a huge thunderstorm came through in the evening. read more

Courteous staff and great beds. The hotel rooms are not inside one building but my family and I felt safe the whole night. A major storm was supposed to be rolling through the night we were staying and the gal at the front desk said I could park under the cover in case of hail ( I had a very nice rental car that I didn't want to be destroyed) the best part was the breakfast... Alisa was such a sweet heart!!! She has a true servants heart, she helped us with any food we needed and actually offered us before we started serving ourselves. She also pointed out great tourists spots that were perfect for our family. I can not say enough about her. She made us feel so welcomed and excited to be visiting Hot Springs.
