I'm really at a lost for words for what my mom & I experienced at Best Western. When I checked in the lady at the front desk said let me go check to see if your room is ready. When she came back down she said you're good. My mom & I went up to our room and when we opened the door the smell was horrible but I was like it's ok we'll spray Febreze. I also noticed dust everywhere. On the desk, table stand, dresser, microwave etc. I used my clorox wipes before I thought about taking pictures. I had to get rid of the dust quickly because I'm allergic to it so I started cleaning immediately. We were also in a hurry to get to my aunt's 90th surprise Birthday Party so I hadn't noticed anything else at that point. I didn't have time to do a thorough review of the room because we were rushing. We got back to the hotel around 11 pm and that's when I went to the bathroom and saw how disgusting it is. The MOLD!!!! I also pulled the covers back on my bed & the sheets and the pillows had dirty spots/stains on them. The carpet at the front was wet and has a huge stain. This hotel cost over $100.00 but it was filthy. This is unacceptable. We actually stayed because we had no where else to go. Now I have hives and itchy skin. I really could go on but It's just a waste of time to do. The only reason they should even be able to get one star is because the lady who I went to on the night shift gave me new sheets & offered to make the bed. I totally regret putting my mom and myself in this type of situation. My family is supposed to be having our family reunion here next year. I don't think so. I'm glad I was able to come here and see what it's like before they lock everything in. Update: They have definitely improved. I'll change the rating based on the improvements that have been made.

We have been having the best luck with great hotels with the Best Western name and this one is no exception. We have been on the road for over 2 weeks now and have stayed at Radisson, Holiday Inn, Ramada, and Comfort Inn, and the Best Western Brand has put them all to shame. This particular hotel is rated as a plus hotel which means it is a little more upscale then the standard Best Westerns. When we arrived with no reservation late at night there were 2 ladies who greeted us and immediatly made us feel like we were at home. The lobby was nicer than a standard best western and they had a nice salt water fish tank withe a clown fish among others hanging out. When we got to our room, it was so clean. It just felt cleaner and nicer than anywhere we had stayed in weeks. The bed was comfortable and they had great pillows on the bed. It was the best night of sleep I got since I left home. The breakfast the next morning was pretty good. They had a waffle maker so you could make your own hot fresh waffles and that was delicious. I thought that the omelets were a little rubbery because they make them ahead of time but that was the only downside to the stay. The breakfast had a wide variety of food to choose from and was neat and well presented. So to sum it up let me put it this way. AS I write this review I am doing it from another Best Western hotel down the road. And I expect I will be staying at a Best Western tomorrow night. They are well on their way to earning my loyalty.

Arrived approximately 10:45pm. We were greeted by a nice lady. Her name began with the letter P. We chose this hotel due to going to the FSU game the next day and Tallahasse was pretty much sold out. This hotel was right off of the interstate next to a Waffle House and McDonald's. The first room we were given was never cleaned. Bed was unmade and towels were all on the floor. Was hoping we were walking in on someone. Once back at the front desk, the clerk immediately apologized and gave us another room. The king suite was suitable for the cost. No frills but a decent clean place to rest. We skipped the pool and breakfast (but it looked like your standard hotel breakfast) so I can't give a review of those 2 things. Overall, decent...nothing really to do near the hotel so don't think this is a touristy area!

It was close to all the places we needed to go in Thomasville. I loved the new furnishings and the spacious ambience of the hotel. At $110 a night, it is on the pricey side. We stayed two nights. We liked how impressive and clean our room was upon entering. The sensor light in the large mirror at the entrance was a nice touch. The bathroom shower was modern and the long shower there was a relief. There were very few to no concerns. I looked in the closet to use a spare throw blanket. I found spare bed sheets and a pillow with a blood spot. They have a Keurig coffee machine and coffee inside the room, a fridge, and microwave are free amenities inside the room, yet there is no free breakfast and coffee downstairs. They do have a small Shoppette to buy necessities and bistro to buy meals & drinks in the lobby. Two large hot coffees in the lobby cost us $18. The menu looked good yet expensive as well. We opted eating the snacks & food we had on us and buying a quick ready meal from Publix. If you want to stay a walk away from certain places and attractions in downtown, this hotel is very ideal & convenient.
