This is a great golf course for the price. Right off of I-75 in Lake Park GA. Clubhouse has been…read moreremodeled but is still slightly dated, proshop keeps pretty good inventory, pretty darn good burger, and course is pretty consistent over the years. It is open to public and but has a steady group of regular locals. Rarely over crowded. Good view of Ocean Pond on some holes, others view the back of the outlet mall. I have played there occasionally for years. Will make you appreciate your home course, if not, this could be your new home course :) honestly it's not that bad, and for the price it's pretty good!! It could have more stars if Stone Creek and Kinderlou Forrest were not also open to public in same area.

I had a great time playing here. The lake comes into play on a few holes but you shouldn't lose a…read moredozen golf balls. The greens were faster than I expected and usually well guarded. I played it three times in two days. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I'm a truck driver. I called first & they said the parking lot was huge, come on down. Not only did I have room for the truck & trailer, they invited me to spend the night - which I did. Nothing like waking up on a golf course! Great hospitality, food, clean bathrooms - even the ones on the course. It also didn't break the bank! Great value & pace of play. I wish it had some scenic lake views - an elevated tee box on a par 3 with the lake in the back ground would've been great. That's on the designer though. The course is great. I hope to play it again...

Very nice course for the $$. Only paid $28 for 18 and cart on a Tuesday afternoon (4pm). Overall,…read morecourse was in great shape and the greens are lightning fast! Since I haven't played here, I put myself in a couple of bad positions off the tee but that won't happen next time. I love playing Kinderlou Forest but $62 vs $28 will keep me coming back!! (3 hcp)

Semi private golf club and gated community convenient to I-75 with a fun and challenging 18 holes…read more Dr. Young Tillman and his boys built this one themselves on family land. Stone Creek Golf Course, a Franzman-Davis design, that winds its way through traditional South Georgia wetlands, opened for play in October of 1992. Originally operated as a cattle farm by the Tillman family this fascinating and scenic layout has matured into one of the nicest facilities and best values for golf in the South Georgia-North Florida region. The property boasts an authentic beaver pond, a trophy bass lake and other strategically located ponds and low land areas that make the track a challenge to golfers of all skill levels. The club is semi-private but they do welcome public play. Recently the greens were converted to Champions Dwarf Bermuda, which is the same surface used at the site of the 2014 U.S. Open Championship in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Most visitors agree the layout length and tee selections make it pleasantly playable by golfers of all skill levels. I actually live on hole #7 tee box. I have lived at Stone Creek for the past 13 years and can say I love the neighborhood that surrounds the golf course as much as I do the course itself. Family started, family oriented, great place to live and play!! Doc Tillman is still out there living on and loving his creation :)
