Who the hell ends breakfast at 9 a.m ! The worst hotel ever. The board of health needs to visit now!!

The beds are comfortable. My a/c works well. Everything is clean. No bugs or nothin. Decent cable, with HBO. The breakfast is much better than I expected. Pancakes, muffins, eggs, sausage, cereal. I'm staying here for a whole week. Been here 3 days so far and they clean the room, make the beds, and change the towels everyday. None of my belongings are out of place. Basically the place met my standards. They have washer/dryer if you plan on extended stay. The staff is friendly. Too friendly for my tastes in fact, because I don't like to speak, in general, but then I feel obligated to do so when they tell me to have a nice day. But some people like that. So whatever.

The room was cozy and she went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed. I did stay in Room 13 and the bed was so comfortable that, even if a ghost did try to mess with me, I slept through it. The hotel is full of art and interesting artifacts. It was fun to just look around! It is right across the street from the famous Fred's Lounge. There is also a bakery a few doors down that has awesome cheesecake. I highly recommend Hotel Cazan. It is, by far, the best hospitality I've ever experienced...and I worked in the hospitality industry for more than 15 years. So, go see Ms. Valerie, you won't be disappointed!

When I arrived at 9:45 after driving a few hours with my pup, I called the after hours number on the door and was told nastily that they were away for the weekend-- when I explained my situation and asked why someone had booked us just hours before, I was told to "stop talking over her," that there was one person she could check with... and then she said "ya know what?" and hung up on me. A few minutes later, I got a call from another number, and a man told me he was another owner and asked how I was. When I told him not great and started explaining... I realized I was ON A THREE-WAY CALL when the woman burst on, cursed me out, and ended the call. These people are a reallll class act. And by class act, I mean I think they were held back in 6th grade and have been there ever since. Rude and crude!

There were no check lists to say what should of been there, therefore we have no way of knowing I the pillow was even there when we got there. It is unethical to charge customers for something that could of been a mistake on their part.

This being a roadtrip this time around I took advantage of the full kitchen versus using my camp stove. With both fructose and lactose malabsorption it's very comforting to cook for myself. And having access to a full kitchen allowed me to make a rice and steak dinner and then in the morning make a cup of rice for the road, plus hard boil chicken and duck eggs I gathered the day prior. The duck eggs were fantastic! Just like in 2023, the Cajun jam night on Wednesday didn't disappoint. Such great music and wonderfully friendly people. One experience I was hoping to relive from 2023 was the ghost encounter in the balcony room; ghost sat on my feet! Unfortunately this go around in 2026, no ghost experience so just be aware there is a spirit, albeit a friendly spirit, inhabiting the Blue Moon. This isn't just a place to stay but a place to experience. We look forward to coming back.
