Upon walking in I was very confused as to if we just sit down or wait to be seated. Even a waitress that was serving didn't seem to know who to talk to get seated or do we seat ourselves. We asked at the bar and she said that there were 2 couples ahead of us. They had a lot of empty tables. The bartender wasted no time in wanting to get us drinks but we just wanted to be seated in one of those empty tables. We said no way we're not going to wait it's okay and left. If you're new to the area like we were I do not recommend going here. I won't be back.

It smelled like paint. It was noisy with workers communicating loudly up and down the hall, and carpet cleaning machines. Given the lack of cars in the parking lot, it seems like they could have given us a room on a floor without the maintenance work. I said as much on the survey they asked me to take. Their response was that they hope to do better next time. There won't be a next time. I'll fondly remember having to excuse myself to get around the friendly guy painting our door frame. Good Times.

There was one light on in the lobby and one over the desk. The owner was the one checking us in. When I told him how many people were staying in the 2 rooms we booked he grabbed our reservations and shook them in our face and told us there was an additional charge. When I questioned as to why there is an additional charge he became very rude & combative. He actually told us to go somewhere else after we had booked on line with a non-refundable option. I notified Hotels.com of the situation and the owner refused to refund our reservation. So they got paid and would not give us a refund even though he was rude, combative & told us to go elsewhere. This is fraudulent and the definition of Highway Robbery. Please heed these reviews and save yourself time, money and frustration as we were not the first one's he has done this to.
