They told me they no longer have rooms available for my group. He offered up some alternate hotels that were 15 mins away and in the wrong direction of the golf. I was left to find alternate lodging with everything else in green lake already booked. I am sure it is a nice place but my situation was handled very poorly and i will not be seeking lodging here in the future.

Everyone of our rooms was clean, updated and very comfortable. I had a 2 queen beds with a balcony over looking the frozen lake and it was beautiful. We received housekeeping every day, which I have found not to be the case nowadays at other hotels. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The restaurant off the lobby was delicious. There is a lounge/pub on the lower level that is fully stocked and they serve pub food. I got the personal pizza and it was excellent. My family members ordered the burgers and equally were satisfied. The younger members of our family used the pool, arcade, hot tub and exercise room every day we were there and had so much fun. I definitely will be returning for long weekends often. So nice

The bartender accused one of our members of bringing in alcohol when they didn't. They called the police after one family member accidentally hit a flower pot and broke it even after walking in, telling the manager what happened, have him a CC for the damages. This place is crap. I hope they consider offering some sort of egg with all breakfasts. Pancakes and French toast are good for breakfast but a side of a protein (other than sausage) should be part of all breakfasts. They have water out all day but it is always room temperature, not very refreshing on a hot day.

There was one light on in the lobby and one over the desk. The owner was the one checking us in. When I told him how many people were staying in the 2 rooms we booked he grabbed our reservations and shook them in our face and told us there was an additional charge. When I questioned as to why there is an additional charge he became very rude & combative. He actually told us to go somewhere else after we had booked on line with a non-refundable option. I notified Hotels.com of the situation and the owner refused to refund our reservation. So they got paid and would not give us a refund even though he was rude, combative & told us to go elsewhere. This is fraudulent and the definition of Highway Robbery. Please heed these reviews and save yourself time, money and frustration as we were not the first one's he has done this to. This owner should not be in the hospitality business. I would not feel comfortable or safe staying at this hotel. Do Not Stay Here!

The view is better than most that I've stayed in. With the new owners, we were greeted with such friendliness and hospitality! The rooms are large and super clean, nice linens and super comfy beds. My room had a really nice big fridge which was great for the drinks and snacks that we brought for the weekend. It is quiet but right in the heart of all the action too. When we were there, there was a group playing Corn hole in the parking lot which my kids loved too. The darling white swing was great for drinking my morning coffee while watching the water. I would highly recommend this motel over any others located in Green Lake!! I WILL be booking again!
