The salesmen were friendly but a lot of their talk was filled with lies and they wanted to sell a lemon. I talked to multiple auto-shops and they said they have never heard of them. Friends and family said word around says they are sketchy and not to be trusted. Maybe I should have known better than to even look at a 26 year old Corolla but the dealer had multiple chances to save me the 5 hours and $200 it costed to find out the car was junk. No thank you. Lady at the auto shop said 10 minutes away is a place called "better cars" and the owner has a great reputation. Just a heads up to the other mid twenty year olds that also are trying to buy a car. The video goes on to say that the hybrid can go on a dolly, then next clip was how to set the car up for flat towing. Went on to say to turn on the car (not start it), hold the brake and press N, Then turn off the car. I simply called landmark to confirm if this step needs to be done for a dolly or if this is just flat towing. I talked to 2 different people in service and not one person could confirm for me what the correct process is. I'm a little shocked because I see Lincoln's being towed behind RVs all of the time but ya, no one in service could help me out. All they said was refer to the owners manual, so I asked them to pull it up and they made every excuse not to do help out, said they could call me later on.

I brought my 2011 G37X in simply to get a quote on replacing my hood latch since it wouldn't open. I just had my oil changed 5 days prior and there were no serious mechanical issues and I made that crystal clear to them. I worked with Clark and he is a total con artist along with the rest of the crew up to the supervisor. He ended quoting me $900 to replace the hood latch and I politely declined. He then said let me go talk to my manager and see what we can do. He calls me back hours later and says they'll do the hood latch for $600 but now they spotted a catastrophic anti-freeze leak and would repair it for $300, bringing my total back up to $900. Again , I declined because I knew I didn't have a radiator leak from my car inspection from the oil change just a few days ago. I told Clark there should be no leak and he said there absolutely is one. I knew they were full of it. I picked up my car the next day and low and behold, after 5 minutes of driving my car off the lot, it breaks down in 5 minutes while I'm driving 70MPH on I225 and had to pull over. I've owned this car for 10 years and it has never broken down on me once. I talked to both Clark and his supervisor and both denied any wrong doing and said it was my fault for not having the part repaired. These people absolutely sabotaged my car because I didn't wanna get ripped off and then let me drive off the lot knowing my car would break down and hoping I would have to spend lord knows what to get it fixed. I was finally able to get them to repair it for almost no charge because I threatened litigation on them. I knew they were in the wrong 100% I would highly stay away from these people, they need to be investigated for their shady ways. They also gave me an invoice saying it had the tow bill and it was an invoice for doing the work on my car which they said they wouldn't charge me for. I might take further action against these people but we'll see. Totally unacceptable and heinous.

Today a car audio specialist came to my house and removed the display for the repair or replacement (they came to me!). I was back and forth to the dealership multiple times, and while they did split the cost of a repair--which added another $1,200 to my purchase--the problem wasn't fixed. Now I'm being told the car likely needs a full transmission, so I have very little confidence that the original repair addressed the real issue. There were also other issues identified right after purchase that were not reflected in the inspection, as well as inaccuracies in the Carfax that raise questions about what was reported. What's most disappointing is that after all of this, they've stopped responding to my attempts to resolve it. I've been trying to handle this fairly and directly, and that effort hasn't been matched. This has been a really frustrating experience, and I would recommend getting an independent inspection and doing extra due diligence before purchasing a vehicle here.
