I needed a bad windowpane replaced in my basement. Best Value Glass looked like the most promising because of their outstanding reviews and the fact that their company information made me feel like they are a place that does a lot of small jobs like mine, not just large jobs. Pablo was able to come over the same day I called and look over the job. He quoted a price that was reasonable, and I approved them to do the job. It took a week or for them to get the new glass. Then we scheduled for them to come in a few days to install it. (he could have even done it the day the glass was ready but I was busy that day) It took about an hour, and it look great. After a year or so in my new house, I realized my janky dog door situation wasn't going to work long term. We'd bought and installed one of those panels you can insert between a sliding glass door and the frame.. the dogs were using it, but it leaks a ton of cold air in the winters and hot air in summer.. and it looked terrible. I did some googling and realized it's entirely possible to get a sliding glass door with a dog door panel inset into the frame, but I felt totally overwhelmed by the process of ordering it, working with a glazier to get it into the door and finally the installation. I asked a half dozen businesses for quotes and was told "we don't do that" by most of them... then I spoke with Best Value Glass! They said we do that, but it's expensive.... I was expecting that! They came out, measured, ordered, and just this morning, delivered and installed my door! It's much warmer in my house already, it looks professionally done, and it wasn't all that expensive when you factor in the costs of heating a house all winter that's essentially got a leaky window. Sorry, this review is overdue, Pablo. I reached out to several businesses regarding the questionable patio door that came with the house I purchased in February. It had a security bar to hold the glass door shut that hung like a sad, metal appendage when not in use and the sliding screen door looked like it had seen better days, did not lock and rattled consistently when the wind blew. Most businesses told me they didn't provide the services I wanted, but Eileen and Pablo were quick to get back to me over Yelp's messaging and quickly set up an appointment to see what they could do. He arrived on time and could see that the aperture that framed the door was uneven and would have to be corrected to fit the current door and advised that it would simply be easier to just replace the entire door. It was on the expensive side, but it's a Milgard and you can feel the difference now when you close it. The amount of heat that is blocked is easily palpable. No more security bar, although they did give me the option to re-install it. Um. No! It takes about a month or more to order the door, inspect it and then schedule a date to install it so keep that in mind if you're looking at a similar project for your home. Their team is friendly and did a good job installing the door, completing the work ahead of schedule. They were also able to replace a missing screen from one of my bedroom windows that's working great and matches the other screens. Best Value Glass was a great find during our house remodeling. They fabricated and installed glass doors for two of our showers (see pictures). Pablo and his team were courteous, responsive and really profesional and clean/efficient at the time of installation. We were so satisfied with their work that we worked with them again only this time the job was more complex because it involved fabrication and installation of 16 atrium windows on a slanted ceiling in our house which is built on stilts, so it was super complicated but these guys delivered and we could not be happier. We cannot recommend them enough, first of all because of the great quality of their work but also because surprisingly they have some of the best rates that we found (and we consulted with several glass companies before settling for one). This business doesn't live up to its name. I called for an estimate to replace a broken piece of tabletop glass. Pablo's estimate was a nice, even $120. I went with the established company that priced the same glass at less than $84, using the exact measurements of length, width, thickness and width of bevel. Pablo asked and indicated that he understood I was asking for clear glass. Another established company estimated $73 except their bevel would have been 1 inch, not 7/8 inch.
