We got three bids to replace windows in our house that dated back to when it was built in 1989. The old aluminum ones were hard to open and weren't energy efficient. The seal on one of them had failed. A few other windows had been updated with frames that didn't match other windows, so there were 21 in all. We contacted Clark County Public Utilities for recommendations of programs that would qualify for an energy efficiency rebate. Josh is the owner of Absolute Windows & Doors. He did the estimate, thoroughly explaining our choices. When we first met him, he seemed very detail oriented, and he assured us that he would personally do the work along with his employees. We were delighted when his bid turned out to be the lowest of the three. When they started the job, it was immediately apparent that these are professional craftsman. They set up scaffolds on our one-story house to give them quick access to a whole row of windows at once where the garden below is uneven. The windows were mostly installed from the outside after they fastened tarps on the inside the prevent debris and rain from getting into our house. They were also very careful to avoid tracking outdoor dirt into the house. At the end of each day, they did a thorough cleanup. They also planned the job to do one section of the house at a time so that we would be minimally inconvenienced. Unlike some companies, they were willing to include in the price the removal and reinstallation of our window treatments, and that was flawlessly accomplished. The end result is beautiful. One detail that Josh recommended was to provide framing that would offer a more uniform surface between windows that were close to each other. This looks much better, and isn't something we would have considered. His workers are polite and are easy to communicate with. They work hard and fast, and it took a day less than Josh had estimated. read more

Absolute Windows is absolutely amazing! The owner, Josh Kizer, and his crew efficiently replaced 21 old aluminum windows with energy-rated Milgard Trinsic vinyl ones in two and a half days, and the work was super high quality. With his exacting standards and attention to the fine details, Josh treated our project like it was his own home. He takes great pride in his workmanship; you can tell that he loves what he does. They did the work with the least possible disruption to the interior of our home, even removing our window blinds and shades as they started in each room to save us that task. After finishing each window, they thoroughly cleaned the window inside and out, reinstalled the blind or shade, and vacuumed up dust on our floors. At the end of the project, they also swept, vacuumed, and blew away debris and dust in the yard and hauled away our old windows. And, they were friendly and courteous. But wait, there's more! Josh was great to work with. We were glad a friend recommended him to us. We called him to get an estimate. He came out the next day. He was very thorough in layman's terms explaining his process in replacing the windows. He was thousands of dollars cheaper then other estimates we got and he was installing the same top quality Millguard windows. He actually installed the windows 3 weeks ahead of schedule and finished the job in two days. He was great with communicating with us, was on the job when he said he would be there. I have not had direct experience with this company, but with the owner, Joshua Kizer. He was the sub contractor on a door installation for another company. In my experience he is surly, unprofessional and unreliable. He showed up a little late for the job, spent his time complaining to me about the job site (which he had previously seen) and eventually walked away from the job after doing no work. read more
