It's so fun to try some authentic Mexican street food while still in the Puget Sound area. Today we hit Best Roasted Corn in the Northern part of Burien but still south of White Center (sort of a no man's land). We were on the search for some great street corn and other various treats and Yelp led us here. Everything seems to be seasoned with Tamarind but they do their products well. We had Elote, Roasted Corn, a cup o' fruit and a few interesting sweet drinks. Definitely a hole in the wall and no customers came in while we were there but they have indoor seating and fair prices. read more

Good food good price everytime. Great service, the workers work hard and fast. They are very attentive and great manners. You can dine inside they have tables but they make the food easy to carry out as well. Super cute store with tons of treats you don't find too often. I recommend this gem to everyone I meet. In the heart of Burien, across from AM/PM lies this hidden gem. They have a variety of different choices for corn on the cob. I told my sister that I have never been here before, and off we go. A wonderful assortment of all the classic Mexico snacks/goodies. From bionicos to chicharrones and a wide array of candies and refrescos. I went in and got a small of esquites which was $4.20 + tax which which was closer to $6 out the door. I got 2 salsaghettis as well and my total was over $9. Yummmm this Corn is always Hot and delicious! I also love their mango cup! Only downside is, there's always a line... but that's a good thing right? Things taste better when you have to wait for them. If you're ever in white center definitely make a pit stop for a light snack. read more

Corn. Corn. Corn. Mango. Chili pepper. Queso. Lime. Mayo. The corn is delicious. We wimped out and should have gotten the spicier version because the mayo, lime, and queso easily balance the spice. The name says it all... almost. There are also cups with mango and chili pepper and lime. And beverages. And you don't have to have the corn on the cob. You can have it in a cup. But why? Isn't part of the fun getting corn on your face and hands? If you're hankering for some street style Mexican corn, get yourself there. I'm not sure why other Mexican restaurants don't just serve this amazing side. And maybe someday Best Roasted Corn will add a protein or two as a side. In the meantime, they are focused on getting that corn, mayo, queso, lime thing down pat. Side note, I do have a feeling someone would smirk at you if you ordered their "Asian" corn which has no such ingredients. It is just plain roasted corn. I'm confused too. read more

We usually drive all the way to the ghetto of White Center to get our street corn, prepared mangos and mangonadas. But now they are also located in Burien. Awesome! We will come here often. Try anything here. Its actually authentic. read more

i ordered #14 Bionico. it's good amount of fruit for the price. $7 before tax. it's not too sweet which i enjoy since i'm not that much into super sweet things. it's just enough sweetness that if you're craving something sweet without worrying about your teeth hurting. the workers were nice and were properly wearing masks and gave quick service. my ONLY complaint would be that the parking lot area is on the very smaller side so if you come in during a busy time of the day or week, it might be hard to find parking but that shouldn't stop you from visiting and trying their food. i'll definitely be coming back to try other items off the menu. read more

i spend $38 at this place. i got 2 fruta cups, 3 elotes preparados, hot cheeto elote, shaved ice and the fried wheels with chile. The corns were super old and not good. the gave me the fried wheels first and made them soggy because we had to wait for the other stuff. i gave them an extra star because the raspa was good. expensive and not good! super disappointing read more

Just when I thought the Best Roasted Corn couldn't get any better... they open up a brick and mortar location in Burien so it's closer to home too! win win win!!!! same great food, just don't have bear the cold and rain (when it is) to get some now. They even have a few tables to sit down and enjoy the food as well. There's also a bit more items off the menu to choose from like corn over tostito chips, various fruit in a cup. This corn stand is so good. I got the mexican corn and American corn, the mexican corn was phenomenal with butter, mayonnaise, cheese, and the chile powder. It all blended together to make a phenomenal treat and for only $3 it is hands down the best snack in town for under $10. The American corn with salt, pepper and butter had a little spice to it which was nice and tasted amazing. Would recommend this place to anybody. Going again tomorrow night with some family. read more
