The day before the move I received a confirmation call. Dmitry and Andrei showed up on time with the big white truck. Our one bedroom/ one bath upstairs apartment had 65-70 boxes in addition to normal furniture. The destination for drop had an elevator. These guys worked non-stop and fast while carefully wrapping furniture with plastic and furniture pads. Boxes upon boxes were stacked and moved out. The guys were friendly and professional. This was not their first rodeo and it showed. They were on a mission! We led them to the destination and they efficiently brought everything into the new unit, unwrapped and placed all the contents of the former home. 4.25 hours later and the moving nightmare was completed. Everything appears to be in tip top shape. They even offered to have us look in the truck to be sure nothing was left behind. Thorough and again, professional. We didn't have to deal with "sticker shock" and unexpected up charges. We have no idea how these guys can do what they do but we thank them wholeheartedly. Tips were deserved. Hector and a helper were assigned to the job. They were fantastic. Hector has been doing this for over 20 years and it shows. He was efficient, dedicated, on time, and had great communication. I wish all movers were like him. Last time I called a local company and their people were sloppy, inefficient and when they opened the door to their truck, clouds of pot smoke came out. Hector showed me photos he took of how sloppy the local guys had packed the storage unit. When he packed the Allied truck, it was neat and orderly. At the LA house, he prepared everything first by laying down paper and fabric protection so they wouldnt scratch the floors, and he and his helper removed all the plastic from the wrapped furniture after putting it in place. During the whole process, Hector answered all my questions and was glad to move the pieces around until I was satisfied with their placement. After this ecperience, I would gladly use Allied again for my moving needs.

We put down a deposit and three weeks later on a Friday morning 4 guys showed up on time to pack up our place. They were nice and worked fast, a little over 5 hours and everything was packaged with such care and I was able to ask them to leave out our necessities for the next few days. Saturday morning the crew showed up on time and ready to work as they loaded their truck not once but twice to move our things over to our new place. They took apart and put back together our furniture. Put most things in the places I requested and UNWRAPPED everything! Meaning I didn't have to fight with my nightstand for months later bc it was already cleanly unpackaged. And drumroll.....NOTHING was broken. Not a thing. Not a piece of furniture, not one mirror (we have 3), not a dish or glass bowl, or lamp or anything.
