It was a VERY hot day, but the team never let it show. They were very respectful of my items and my space. Booked 24/7 to do the work. They showed up on the scheduled day about 8:30 am and we did a walk thru, showing them what was going and what was not. moving from a 4 bdrm to a 2 bdrm takes some downsizing. They started right in, wrapping, filling boxes and moving them out to the truck. Taking apart the furniture that needed it and moving it out to the truck. They are definitely good at their job. It took them till 10:30 at night to get it all packed and stowed in the truck. They were prompt on delivery day too. Showed up at 9 am . started unloading and putting together furniture and placing it where requested. Took till 4pm before they were finished with their part of unpacking . Great job! Needed to move a 3-bedroom house full of furniture and 80 boxes from Carlsbad to Los Angeles…read more Although the price was really high, they weren't any more expensive than other companies and I booked then based on their reputation. Hector and a helper were assigned to the job. They were fantastic. Hector has been doing this for over 20 years and it shows. He was efficient, dedicated, on time, and had great communication. I wish all movers were like him. Last time I called a local company and their people were sloppy, inefficient and when they opened the door to their truck, clouds of pot smoke came out. Hector showed me photos he took of how sloppy the local guys had packed the storage unit. When he packed the Allied truck, it was neat and orderly. At the LA house, he prepared everything first by laying down paper and fabric protection so they wouldnt scratch the floors, and he and his helper removed all the plastic from the wrapped furniture after putting it in place. During the whole process, Hector answered all my questions and was glad to move the pieces around until I was satisfied with their placement. After this ecperience, I would gladly use Allied again for my moving needs.
