I went to Best Mattress, a yellow store where I had trouble finding the entrance... but persevered. We entered the store, and after telling the owner our story he set us up with the perfect high quality mattress at a price that was much lower than what we experienced at other chain stores. The owner was quite forthcoming with information and listened carefully. He's been around in this business for 40 years telling me that he knows what people want and can deliver. Buying a Mattress is a sobering and expensive experience, The older I get the less I want to sleep on an uncomfortable mattress. But what kind to get? Hard or soft? Foam or springs? Thick or thin? So I looked online for the best mattress for side sleepers, and the best came up as a hybrid. There was a humungous amounts of information to go through. Through it all, I settled on 2 things. 1. I wanted to buy my bed from someone local I could count on, for service and delivery and taking the old mattress away. 2. I wanted to lay on the bed to test it out, versus what happens online. While looking at reviews, Best Mattress seemed to be the one. So I called. Chris answered the phone and was patient with my deluge of questions, and he answered them all. When I went into the store there was no pressure, Chris was extremely helpful and suggested a sleep test. We settled on the bed that felt the best, the price I wanted to pay, and the delivery date. Adam and Aaron brought the bed, took the old one away, and now I am sleeping soundly. I would not go anywhere else. read more

I don't normally make too many negative reviews because it sucks but I feel like I have to let ppl know to make sure before you spend thousands of dollars to make sure you triple check what stipulations they have. So I've had back pain pretty consistently since about a week in. I had to buy a 50 dollar topper to see if that would help, it only helped for a short time then back to the pain. I've tried everything, nothing is helping! When we were at the place buying, Aaron told us there was a 90 day satisfaction warranty if the mattress cover/protector was used if it didn't work out they would trade it and if that didn't work then they'd give the money back so right before that 90 days we called and told them we really tried everything and it's just not working if we could trade for another mattress, not asking for our money back just wanted to trade. Sometimes it takes awhile for body to get used to it, I really tried to make it work for as long as what we thought the warranty was for but unfortunately they said that we misunderstood them, that they only give 30 day warranty, they said we could buy another mattress at a discounted price though... kind of tone deaf don't you think?! We spent about 2,300 dollars at their small business! We can not afford to buy another bed! And we're supposed to sleep on this bed for years! I would think being that this is a small business they would want to make sure their customers comfortability and satisfaction would be top priority! If they really wanted to make this right they could!! I am suffering everyday with back and hip pain that interferes with everyday tasks not to mention mentally because who likes to be in pain everyday?!?! My mother and father know the owner Fred and have bought furniture from him, my brother has bought a bed and a long time ago I bought a futon from Fred we never had any issues up until now it's just extremely disappointing and quite frankly disabling! read more

The guys at Best Mattress are simply, the best! We walked in and no hard sell at all. We were able to take our time and try out as many mattress's as we wanted to. Back in March, I visited this establishment (the building is a wonderful bright yellow). There are a variety of mattresses to try out (I was interested in testing out the hybrid ones) and they also sell mattress covers and a cooling sort of pillow. Aaron was friendly, informative, guaranteed my satisfaction, and went out of his way to deliver my new mattress the same day! I picked out a firm one (considering the needs of my significant other over my desire for ultimate plush-ness) and since sleeping on it for over 3 months, we are happy with the purchase and would return here in the future for our next mattress. read more

Several friends had recommended them. I got help from the owner himself. He let me try several different bed's. I told him that money was an issue. He gave me a great deal. I originally purchased a bed back in college several years ago. It was time for me to upgrade to a queen 7 years later, and this the only store I wanted to shop at. In addition to reasonable prices, I knew that I would receive excellent service, so I felt comfortable buying from this store. I purchased one of the mid-range priced mattresses on sale at a great price. With a box springs and frame thrown in for free, plus free delivery, there's no way to beat this price. While purchasing, the salesman told me that I could get a delivery window but scheduled a specific time for me. They called a few minutes before the delivery time and arrived a few minutes later. The deliverymen set up the bed in a few minutes and took my old one away for me as well. If in another seven years I need a new bed, this is the place I will come to! Came here to find a mattress for my son for college. We were greeted right away and asked important questions. My son and husband were testing out the mattresses and I went and roamed around. Fred introduced himself and we chatted away. His son (sorry I didn't get his name) helped my son and they set up delivery for the SAME day! Save time and shop here for quality products, great pricing, and great service. No need to go anyplace else. We purchased two Twin and one King size Dr's Choice mattresses for a cost well below the price of ONE King mattress of same or lesser quality at local furniture and mattress stores. (BTW, all our guests have commented on how comfortable the mattresses are and how well they slept!) Due to the location of window shutters and other features in the home we had to keep overall bed height under a certain measure. Fred suggested that we use a shorter base which he could have custom-made in a week or so for no additional cost. We took his suggestion and ended up with beds that fit perfectly! read more

I was in search of a new mattress. A couple of years ago I spent a fortune on a "hybrid" mattress. Too hot! Sold that when I moved and was using my daughter's 13 year old mattress. Too soft! Went to Best Mattress and got the firmest non-foam mattress on the floor. After 5 days I knew it was just to hard. They exchanged for a softer mattress that very day. No charge for the delivery/ pick-up. Really great people to do business with! read more

Not a good experience, when it comes to replacing a defective items. Firm was willing to replace the defective item under warranty (box spring cost $150), but they charge you $100 delivery fee to pick up the older item from your place, and deliver the replaced item. Delivery fee to replace a defective item is outrageous. Money goes out of pocket, even a defective items is replaced under warranty. Won't purchase anything from Mattress firm in future, nor recommend my friends, as now I know what happens when it comes to replacing the defective item. read more

I purchased a Ghostbed about 3 weeks ago and it is truly a horrible mattress. I wake up each day with a sore back. It's gotten so bad that I have started sleeping on an old futon. I've contacted the company over 8 times and was told a supervisor would call me back. Nothing. Their customer service is as bad as I've ever seen. The place is small, but I really liked the family-owned atmosphere and the family members there to run it. Everyone was very warm and welcoming, and answered any questions I had. While I didn't end up getting anything (my budget was a little too small and unrealistic, I think) I really do like the attention to service this place has.
