The guys at Best Mattress are simply, the best! We walked in and no hard sell at all. We were able to take our time and try out as many mattress's as we wanted to. We found the mattress we liked and they worked out a great deal for us. We had our King mattress delivered to us at a ridiculously low delivery fee. Aaron and Adam did an awesome job setting it all up when they got to our place, really fast and on time. Best thing about the experience was the people are good hearted, courteous, and respectful. I highly recommend them! read more

Very helpful until an elderly partner at the desk started telling unflattering stories about his wife who he apparently thought was dumb because she was blond (and gestured toward me). Then he offered a "dum dum" lollipop and said it was Biden. 2 strikes. I would have walked out at that moment, but I wanted to support local businesses. In the future I suggest that you not let the elderly guy talk to customers. read more

All I can say is they lied to us get your stuff at Costco 2 year warranty And if you're not comfortable with their mattress, they will also trade it in as long as you have a mattress protector on it read more

Quality selection, good prices. Even delivered all the way out to Sonoita Arizona. This review requires 85 characters....

Looking for the best mattress store? We recently shopped around for a new mattress and had a great experience at Best Mattress Inc. located at Stone and Roger. The staff greeted us promptly, helped us find the perfect mattress at a great price without any pushy upselling or unnecessary accessory sales. Plus they are local owned and operated! Highly recommend checking them out! read more

My daughter moved to Tucson and was sleeping on a new mattress that we bought from a furniture store. After 6 months, this mattress started to show signs of having been worn in the center and was sagging. No more chain stores for me. I went to Best Mattress, a yellow store where I had trouble finding the entrance... but persevered. We entered the store, and after telling the owner our story he set us up with the perfect high quality mattress at a price that was much lower than what we experienced at other chain stores. The owner was quite forthcoming with information and listened carefully. He's been around in this business for 40 years telling me that he knows what people want and can deliver. The delivery process was as equally pleasant. I would recommend Best Mattress to anyone ... it's definitely a store to visit before making any purchase. read more

Buying a Mattress is a sobering and expensive experience, The older I get the less I want to sleep on an uncomfortable mattress. But what kind to get? Hard or soft? Foam or springs? Thick or thin? So I looked online for the best mattress for side sleepers, and the best came up as a hybrid. There was a humungous amounts of information to go through. Through it all, I settled on 2 things. 1. I wanted to buy my bed from someone local I could count on, for service and delivery and taking the old mattress away. 2. I wanted to lay on the bed to test it out, versus what happens online. While looking at reviews, Best Mattress seemed to be the one. So I called. Chris answered the phone and was patient with my deluge of questions, and he answered them all. When I went into the store there was no pressure, Chris was extremely helpful and suggested a sleep test. We settled on the bed that felt the best, the price I wanted to pay, and the delivery date. Adam and Aaron brought the bed, took the old one away, and now I am sleeping soundly. I would not go anywhere else. read more

I don't normally make too many negative reviews because it sucks but I feel like I have to let ppl know to make sure before you spend thousands of dollars to make sure you triple check what stipulations they have. So I've had back pain pretty consistently since about a week in. I had to buy a 50 dollar topper to see if that would help, it only helped for a short time then back to the pain. I've tried everything, nothing is helping! When we were at the place buying, Aaron told us there was a 90 day satisfaction warranty if the mattress cover/protector was used if it didn't work out they would trade it and if that didn't work then they'd give the money back so right before that 90 days we called and told them we really tried everything and it's just not working if we could trade for another mattress, not asking for our money back just wanted to trade. Sometimes it takes awhile for body to get used to it, I really tried to make it work for as long as what we thought the warranty was for but unfortunately they said that we misunderstood them, that they only give 30 day warranty, they said we could buy another mattress at a discounted price though... kind of tone deaf don't you think?! We spent about 2,300 dollars at their small business! We can not afford to buy another bed! And we're supposed to sleep on this bed for years! I would think being that this is a small business they would want to make sure their customers comfortability and satisfaction would be top priority! If they really wanted to make this right they could!! I am suffering everyday with back and hip pain that interferes with everyday tasks not to mention mentally because who likes to be in pain everyday?!?! My mother and father know the owner Fred and have bought furniture from him, my brother has bought a bed and a long time ago I bought a futon from Fred we never had any issues up until now it's just extremely disappointing and quite frankly disabling! read more

What a great shop and owner! Had a terrific experience buying a mattress for our son moving to U of A. Fred helped guide our decision based on our needs and budget without being pushy. Friendly, kind, knowledgeable, professional and affordable. Can't ask for more! read more

Outstanding customer service, excellent quality and price Chris and his guys were great! We moved to Tucson and didn't have a bed. I called Chris ahead of our arrival and he discussed different mattress options and held one he thought would work for us. When we got to Best Mattress, Chris had us try different mattresses and we went with the one he originally recommended. Mattress was delivered the next day! We also ordered a wood bedframe from Best Mattress and they even loaned us a box spring and frame until it arrived. The delivery guys were on time and did a great job Cannot recommend highly enough - read more

Deserves even more than 5 stars! When my family and I went in to buy a mattress we were greeted with excellent service and many mattresses in stock. It was very easy to talk to them and they were super approachable if we had any questions. There were multiple mattresses in my price point and then when I picked one I was able to take it home within minutes. We would definitely do business with them again! read more

Such an amazing place- don't mind the outside appearance. Fred is awesome. Honest, knowledgeable, affordable, and just really likeable. Was a really refreshing experience compared to the bullsh*t/pressure/buzzwords that mattress firm will put you through. read more

I got a new mattress here over a year and a half ago. I am very pleased with their service and the mattress too.

We are new to the area and furnishing an apartment. Our kids used to have their own spaces but now share, so we were looking for bunk bed mattresses and chose Best Mattress after reading the wonderful reviews on Yelp. We were not disappointed. Chris was a great help in the store, and Aaron did a fantastic job communicating with us the next day about delivery. No complaints, and happy to have done business with a local company! read more

Back in March, I visited this establishment (the building is a wonderful bright yellow). There are a variety of mattresses to try out (I was interested in testing out the hybrid ones) and they also sell mattress covers and a cooling sort of pillow. Aaron was friendly, informative, guaranteed my satisfaction, and went out of his way to deliver my new mattress the same day! I picked out a firm one (considering the needs of my significant other over my desire for ultimate plush-ness) and since sleeping on it for over 3 months, we are happy with the purchase and would return here in the future for our next mattress. read more

I needed a bed and quickly. My cat had a accident on my bed. The mattress protector failed and I needed to replace it. The bext morning I went over to Best Mattress. Several friends had recommended them. I got help from the owner himself. He let me try several different bed's. I told him that money was an issue. He gave me a great deal. I had my bed several hours later!! They took away the old bed and set up the new one. The men who delivered the bed were very polite as well So if you are in need of a great bed at a great price Best Mattress is the place to go! Heidi S. read more

What you'll find here is more than just a great deal; you'll also get good old-fashioned and honest service. Best Mattress made finding a good-quality mattress in my price range so easy. I was helped by Fred today, who answered any questions I had, but mostly just allowed me to explore what was in the showroom without being the least bit pushy. I settled on an exceptionally comfortable queen-size pillow-top mattress set that cost only $499. He informed me that I could get free same-day delivery in the neighborhood. He had his guys out to set up my new bed and take the old mattress just three hours later. Not only that, Fred seems to really enjoy getting to know his customers. He and I chatted for quite a while and he even recommended a reputable mechanic to me, which I've been struggling to find for quite some time. I highly recommend shopping here for your next mattress. read more

Came here to find a mattress for my son for college. We were greeted right away and asked important questions. My son and husband were testing out the mattresses and I went and roamed around. Fred introduced himself and we chatted away. His son (sorry I didn't get his name) helped my son and they set up delivery for the SAME day! Fred was so personable, the business is his and his son's--family owned. They spoke directly to my son, explaining the warranty and if any problems, to call them direct. Very reasonable prices, no frills store which is great for savings! Would recommend this place 1000 times over!!! Thanks guys!! You put a mom's mind to rest!! read more

I originally purchased a bed back in college several years ago. It was time for me to upgrade to a queen 7 years later, and this the only store I wanted to shop at. In addition to reasonable prices, I knew that I would receive excellent service, so I felt comfortable buying from this store. I purchased one of the mid-range priced mattresses on sale at a great price. With a box springs and frame thrown in for free, plus free delivery, there's no way to beat this price. While purchasing, the salesman told me that I could get a delivery window but scheduled a specific time for me. They called a few minutes before the delivery time and arrived a few minutes later. The deliverymen set up the bed in a few minutes and took my old one away for me as well. If in another seven years I need a new bed, this is the place I will come to! Excellent service, great products. You can't beat it. read more

Save time and shop here for quality products, great pricing, and great service. No need to go anyplace else. We purchased two Twin and one King size Dr's Choice mattresses for a cost well below the price of ONE King mattress of same or lesser quality at local furniture and mattress stores. (BTW, all our guests have commented on how comfortable the mattresses are and how well they slept!) Due to the location of window shutters and other features in the home we had to keep overall bed height under a certain measure. Fred suggested that we use a shorter base which he could have custom-made in a week or so for no additional cost. We took his suggestion and ended up with beds that fit perfectly! read more

Chris answered the phone right away, answered my question simply and with Clarity, and was able to accommodate me at every turn during the purchase of my futon mattress. Will be back again. read more

These guys are awesome! We walked in to Fred hanging out with his granddaughter watching a video of puppies, and we just knew this was where we would buy. On top of the exceptional customer service, their prices are almost too good to be true and every mattress comes with a brand new box spring and bed frame, and free delivery. Ours arrived with a tag that stated it had only been manufactured a week prior to arrival. We chose an amazing Spring Air mattress and have slept like babies since it arrived. If you're in the market for a new mattress, this is the place to go! read more

The owner is so kind! This is the second mattress I have bought from them. I would recommend them over any big box store.

Such a wonderful local business. Fred was so helpful and found the perfect mattress for me. He has had his family business for over 30 years and is dedicated to customer service. I would highly recommend this spot. read more

A mattress is a huge investment. I would go somewhere else. Awful quality. Junk. Lied about several things. Bad attitude if you have a problem. Buying local is no guarantee of anything. read more

Just bought a king-mattress box spring (two twins, actually) from Fred. This is a family-owned business and we were VERY pleased with the people and the prices being charged. The delivery was free and the two men moved the bed around, installed the box spring, reinstalled the mattress and took away several unneeded items. Check them out before making your purchases! read more

Honestly there are no words to describe how amazing these guys( Chris and Aaron*) are. I never went to their location I found them online , than messaged them through Facebook one night when I couldn't sleep , they responded ! The next day Aaron* came to help me install a semi difficult conversion kit and bring my daughter her brand new bed. They went above and beyond . Do not hesitate to buy from them ! They even beat their competitors !! read more

Easiest place to shop. My daughter and I found Best Mattress on line and drove on down. We met Chris, who is friendly and easy going. He asked me what type of mattress I was looking for and if I had any back issues. We tried on all the mattresses. No pressure. What a pleasure! I made a purchase. It was delivered precisely when it was supposed to be. It was set up, the old one taken away. No problems. Thank you so much. Almost sorry a mattress will last so long. read more

I was in search of a new mattress. A couple of years ago I spent a fortune on a "hybrid" mattress. Too hot! Sold that when I moved and was using my daughter's 13 year old mattress. Too soft! Went to Best Mattress and got the firmest non-foam mattress on the floor. After 5 days I knew it was just to hard. They exchanged for a softer mattress that very day. No charge for the delivery/ pick-up. Really great people to do business with! read more

Not a good experience, when it comes to replacing a defective items. Firm was willing to replace the defective item under warranty (box spring cost $150), but they charge you $100 delivery fee to pick up the older item from your place, and deliver the replaced item. Delivery fee to replace a defective item is outrageous. Money goes out of pocket, even a defective items is replaced under warranty. Won't purchase anything from Mattress firm in future, nor recommend my friends, as now I know what happens when it comes to replacing the defective item. read more

Went to your website to look at your products and first pic I noticed was a half naked girl in black bra, black skimpy underwear with black thigh-length hosiery. This was not what I was expecting and thought to myself that the owners need this hoopla to sell their products. I'm moving on to the next business on Yelps list. Hopefully it at least tries to maintain decency. read more

Saw Best Mattress' reviews online and went to them before anyone else. They definitely deserve the five stars- helpful, friendly service, great selection, great prices, and they delivered it to me for free with smiles on their faces. I purchased a Ghostbed about 3 weeks ago and it is truly a horrible mattress. I wake up each day with a sore back. It's gotten so bad that I have started sleeping on an old futon. I've contacted the company over 8 times and was told a supervisor would call me back. Nothing. Their customer service is as bad as I've ever seen. I'm trying to return this mattress and I've gotten nowhere. read more

The place is small, but I really liked the family-owned atmosphere and the family members there to run it. Everyone was very warm and welcoming, and answered any questions I had. While I didn't end up getting anything (my budget was a little too small and unrealistic, I think) I really do like the attention to service this place has. Family-owned is always so much nicer than big-box stores. read more
