I've been seeing Michelle since her days at Ballard Health Center in Seattle. When she opened her…read moreown practice, I happily followed her because she is truly a miracle worker and the best acupuncturist I've ever experienced. When she eventually moved to Florence, Oregon, I was genuinely sad to lose such an incredible practitioner. Recently, my cousin and I decided Michelle was worth the trip, so we planned a special girls' wellness weekend in Florence. My cousin had actually seen Michelle once years ago while visiting Seattle when Michelle was still at Ballard Health Center. That single treatment left such an impression that she has talked about it ever since and often says she hasn't been able to find anyone like Michelle in Los Angeles. When I mentioned making the trip to Florence, she immediately wanted to join me and flew up from LA so we could go together. During our visit, my cousin and I received acupuncture treatments from Michelle, experienced the HOCATT with McKenzie, and spent time in the light therapy room, which was incredibly relaxing and such a unique experience. Together, Michelle and McKenzie have created a welcoming healing space that goes far beyond a typical wellness appointment. Michelle has an incredible gift for treating the whole person, not just individual symptoms. Every time I've worked with her, I've left feeling better physically, mentally, and emotionally. She is a true whole-body healer. McKenzie is wonderful in her own right. Years ago, while she was still practicing in the Seattle area, my late mother was living in a nursing facility and wasn't exactly excited about trying acupuncture. McKenzie met her where she was comfortable and provided acupressure treatments instead. She even traveled to the nursing facility so my mom didn't have to leave or worry about getting to an appointment. My mom absolutely adored her. The kindness, compassion, and genuine care McKenzie showed her is something I'll never forget. The fact that my cousin and I planned a special girls' weekend and traveled from Washington (and Los Angeles) to Florence just to see Michelle and McKenzie says everything about the level of care they provide. The healing, support, and attention we received made the trip completely worthwhile. We left feeling more centered, energized, and restored, and we're already hoping to make another visit in the future. Thank you, Michelle and McKenzie, for creating such a special place for healing and wellness.

I was not a "true"…read morebeliever in acupuncture as I had gone a few times previously to other professionals and had no success. It took about 7 visits before my body responded to her work. Now, I can truly say acupuncture does work and she works wonders. I highly recommend Michelle. Her calm, professional manner. Her real concern about how to best help me with my chronic neck and back issues. I truly can say her work on me actually prevented more serious health issues from an auto accident I was in recently. She is easy to work with and a delightful, caring human being. She is an East Asian Medical Practitioner and Western Herbalist with a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. And I highly recommend the Ballard Health Center's owner Aron Salo as well. He also has been my massage therapist for years. Whenever I am in real pain, I can count on his massages to put me back into shape. His skillful manipulation has allowed me to mend and be able to live life in a positive way.
