I was a little skeptical because it was only $38 for an hr and it was in a weird location that doesn't give you the 'spa' vibe, but the minute you walk in you are in another world. It was so quite, clean, and very tranquil. They started us off with a back massage then sat us in recliners with heated blankets and eye masks. I have traveled a lot and love to do spa treatments and I have also paid an abundance of money as well and this visit was by far one of the best foot massages I have ever had. And the price was amazing. I've been telling friends all about it. So has my husband. We are booking our next appointment as we speak!

I like that they offer 30 minute massages (most places around here don't) because sometimes that's all I need (or all my wallet can take). I'm in pain a lot and often need a light touch. Jessica is my massage therapist and she always asks how the pressure is, which I really appreciate, since sometimes it's hard for me to speak up when I want something changed. She also remembers that I don't like the front of my neck touched and other little details. Her technique seems to be the perfect fit for me and she's the only person other than my partner I trust to touch me so I can really relax (and I'm the type of person who needs to really relax)! The receptionist and other staff I've met are really pleasant people.

Very glad I was wrong... this was seriously one of the BEST (if not the best) massages I've ever had. The women were professional, friendly and generated relaxing vibes. The woman working on me found places I was holding tension and knots in my body that I had no idea existed. By the end of the session, I felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated. I was also provided with stretching techniques, which I really appreciated. I've gone to a bunch of places before and no one has ever offered stretching techniques. We will definitely be back! Alas, no place is perfect, so here are a few of the downsides: There is some background noise from surrounding businesses that can be heard above the music, there is only one chair in the waiting area which was a little awkward, and most importantly, couple's massages here cost less than at the Art of Touch, which is also located in Newington (see my review for there as well).
