I've been here twice, and to be completely honest, I didn't really like it the 1st time around. Now…read morethe second time completely changed my opinion of this place! My husband loves this location and has been coming here for quite some time. He will forever get the same items lol Here is our order: *Every Dang Thang Pasta + mushrooms - my husband go-to meal, this pasta is so flavorful and delicious. They do give you a hefty amount and don't skimp out on the meats. 10/10 *Fish Basket - this will now on be my go-to order, i have never had a fish basket taste this good! The fish was so flaky and juicy. It was honestly the best fried fish Ive had in my entire life 100/10 *Mardi Gras Potato - this was really good, it taste just like the every thang pasta, the only downside of this dish was that it came out a bit cold so 8/10 *Shrimp Po-Boy - my husband's friend ordered this and he said it was really good and he really enjoyed it 10/10 *Peach Cobbler - another one of my husbands go-tos, im not the biggest fan of hot fruit but this was really really good and it pairs nicely with the vanilla ice cream 10/10 *Lemon Drop Martinis - these were soooooo good, I've been to so many restaurants where they don't make it right, but here??? They made it with love. It was very much chefs kiss 1000/10 I will say the ambience of this place is a bit loud. They have a life person playing the saxophone, which is nice, but very very loud. Overall: we will be back! 10/10

Reading cafe Rian mouth watering menu would make you hungry!!!!…read more My friends and I drove across the world to try this Sunday ladies lunch date. Friendly service, clean appearance, smells so amazing from the door, sounds of live music fills your soul. This place sets a family, fun, and amazing food tones in the best way. This could easily be a weekly spot for me if it was much closer to my area. My crawfish and shrimp étouffée was amazing. I also took my son a dish home a crawfish sausage pasta, which had the choice of two or three meats. He loved it a lot and down it quickly. My son didn't even heat it up, and I know it was room temp at best. Since we sat there and talked for about 60 minutes and it took 40 to make it back home. It is JUST THAT GOOD, it's AMAZING. I LOOK FORWARD to returning. Reading Rian menu my mouth begin to water!!!! I can't wait to try the boudin, and Cajun baked potato, and loaded boudin. And more

Hello my name is Ashley B. Let's get started with the review! I decided to try this place because I…read moreusually see a lot of people dining in or getting food to go when I'm in the area. When I walked in the place , it wreaked of sewage smell but I still dined in because I saw others there. Anyway, I received my food and started eating the shrimp fried rice and it had a nice flavor however the shrimp was bland so I had to add some seasoning to it. Next, I started on the seafood boil and again I had to add some seasoning too add some flavor to the dish. To me the dine in experience was lack luster and noon Existent. Also, I had to walk to the register every time I needed something, which became tiresome after several trips to ask for more condiments, scissors to cut the crab legs and my bottled water. Lastly, I had to ask for a to go bag because I had a lot of food left over. My advice is don't dine in, if you don't have to. This is definitely a to go place. Anyway, chow!

Update. Since last time, wanted to step outside my food boundaries once again. Was dissatisfied…read morelast time here, but this time there was some improvements. Spicy Lemon Pepper Wings weren't over cooked or dry. Better. And shrimp fried rice, nice size shrimp and rice with sweeter taste even though had to add couple soy sauce packets, but this try was better than my last.

My husband and I really wanted to move our 5th wheel to the Good Times RV Park but after this…read moreweekend we have changed our mind and no longer interested. We drove to the park to see if that perfect RV spot had opened up and was stopped by a very rude standoffish woman which we learned was the owner/manager Kathy (so she said). One thing I know real well is how to approach and welcome a prospective resident; a "Hello may I help you" with a smile is how you approach a person, but instead got a sharp rude "What do you need." Right then with her comment and mannerism I knew this was not where we want to be. We are sad that Good Times will not be our future home but dealing with a rude manager is not a place we want to call home. We never had a chance to try the restaurant which has rave reviews but be choose not to patronize a place management is not welcoming. Suggestion Ms Kathy practice you social skills when approaching a person.

So there is a marina in Channelview on the San Jac River that has a little bar and grill. The place…read moreis very spacious inside. They have no A/C but plenty of fans going and cold beer, tvs for the games and good food. Horseshoe bar, plenty of tables, very friendly staff. The burger was on point, the rings were typical frozen bag and the shrooms were par but I still enjoyed it. They have load of other things on the menu to tickle your fancy. If you want a change of scenery, food and drinks then sneak off to Good Times Marina. Till we eat again.
