The donuts here are soooo good. We've had the Boston creme filled, lemon, blueberry, cherry and apple filled. All were amazing! They fill those suckers full - it's like having a donut pie! Love it! The blueberry cake is fantastic as well. My hubby enjoys the glazed cinnamon twist. The price point is spot on too. Every time we've been, the employees are fabulous - so kind and helpful. Seeing families sitting and eating together is nice too. Give this place a whirl - it's worth it! read more

Great service! Great glazed donut. Reminds me of Krispy Crème without the toothache. Tried the boudin sausage kolache and the local TX sausage kolache (forgot the name). The boudin has rice mixed into sausage with some mild heat. I am a wimp but enjoyed it. Had the mild sausage and I am glad we are just visiting because breakfast out every morning would add up. Apple filled donut had nice amount of cinnamon but glazed was the star. Will be back again! read more

Best Donuts - a tall order! But I agree! The staff were friendly. We ordered a blueberry cake (their best seller according to staff) and a lemon filled donut. Both really delicious. The inside of the place is what you would expect a donut shop to be like. I was hoping to try the breakfast taco but they were unfortunately unable to accommodate an egg white request. Nonetheless, it's a donut place so not totally unexpected. read more

Just meh for us. Donuts are plentiful but very very sweet. Too sweet and overfilled to the point of bursting when you eat them. Need more balance in the donuts. Also coffee is terrible. read more

Delicious brisket kolaches and donuts. Service is warm and courteous. Store is bright and clean.

They're called Best Donuts for a reason! Highly recommend the maple iced! We look forward to our visits to Montgomery.

Service with a smile. The ladies are always smiling when I drive up. I always get the blueberry cake doughnut, boudain kolache, and iced coffee (vanilla). Today, I ventured out and tried the mocha, but I definitely love the vanilla flavored more. The only thing I do not like is that they charge you a $1.00 more for no ice on the iced coffee and do not tell you - it was listed on my receipt as "misc." I have attached a picture of how my mocha with ice is shown. It was DEFINITELY more ice than mocha iced coffee. The boudain kolache is always warmed up and I ask them to warm up my blueberry cake doughnut and I am in heaven Definitely a great breakfast spot that I love getting when I am in town doing sister duties :) read more

These are absolutely the best donuts I've ever had! We were in town visiting family and decided to try this place out, as we have no love for Shipley's "toothpaste glaze". The glaze here is so different and tastes delicious! We also tried the mixed dozen donuts and the sausage and cheese kolaches, all were yummy! The best of all was the sausage-egg-cheese taco. The flavors were somehow better than all others I've tried; and that salsa they serve with it is on another level! Best quick breakfast we've had in a while. I wish we lived closer! read more

I've been coming to this establishment for about 3 years now, this morning they got my order wrong. So I called them over the phone to let them know that I paid for sausage and bacon on one of my sandwiches but they only put the bacon and not the sausage. After working a 12 hour shift I did not want to go back and bring the sandwich I told her just write my name down I'll be back in the morning when I get off to order the same sandwich so rather than charging me for the extra meat they can just add it to my sandwich since I paid for it today but didn't receive it. I didn't ask for anything for free! This Asian lady (she wouldn't give me her name) that claim she was the manager laughed at me over the phone and said they gave me the sandwich with sausage on it basically calling be a liar. So I went in with the sandwich to show them there was no sausage she basically said somebody must have ATE the sausage and was laughing like it was a joke VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Then she proceeded to say they have video so I asked her to pull the video and watch it with me and show be that they put the sausage on there. She got her phone looked at the video and put the phone in her back pocket and proceeded to give me my refund that I finally asked for bc I no longer wanted to do business with them. I said well I thought you was going to show me the video that proved they put the sausage on there she said it's not clear. So I asked to see the video when I looked at the video I asked her to show me where they put the sausage on the sandwich bc I don't see it she couldn't So then she said I think they may have put extra bacon on your sandwich instead of sausage by this time I'm pissed because ma'am being a manager all you had to do was make my order right! I didn't ask for nothing free no refund just wanted what I paid for. My total was $14.35 why would I lie about something that cost .60 cents?! The manager hated to admit that she was wrong and that they made a mistake which I understand that anyone can make a mistake the problem I had was I'm a paying customer she laughed in my face and basically insulted me by saying we must have ate the sausage! WHOMEVER THE OWNER OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS THE LADY THAT YOU HAVE AS YOUR MANAGER IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISGUSTING SHE NEEDS TO TAKE SOME CLASSES ON HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS, HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS AND HOW TO ACCEPT ACCOUNTABILITY WHEN SHE IS IN THE WRONG!!! 7-11-2025 read more

Why 5 stars? Because everything here was great. --- --- --- The donuts, the kolaches and the breakfast burrito - all of them were wonderful. We stopped in on the way to the in-laws recently and piled up on a bunch of snacks. We ordered sausage+cheese, ham+cheese and boudain sausage kolaches. We also got a bunch of donuts and some donut holes. And my wife wanted to try the breakfast burrito. Everything was a big hit. I honestly cannot think of a single complaint - we will definitely be back! And in addition to the food, the person who took our order at the drive-thru was super friendly. I have a feeling she was the owner? Either way, she was great and we will definitely stop by again! read more

Great service and delicious food. The tacos are my favorite part, the salsa is mildly sweet which I love.

Friendly, easy to order, great selection of classics and new options. Good donut and def. better than a Shipleys.

This is the closest donut shop to us and it's about a 15min drive. When i was ordering the lady was distracted and was doing so many things at once. She kept getting my order wrong and wasn't nice. I finally get home and i look through the bag and I'm missing half my items that i already paid for. If it was closer I'd go back but it's not worth the time, and gas. So frustrating read more

Best donuts ? Yes! The selection and speed of service on a Saturday morning was incredible. I don't even eat donuts, I only usually buy them for the grandkids, but picking out the dozen on this occasion, I got one for me. okay, 2. they were really good, really fresh cake donuts. (for me) the others were beautifully decorated and smelled so good, my mouth was watering as I was picking out the rest. There are quite a few donut shops in this immediate area, but this one truly is the Best. read more

They really do have the best donuts in town. We moved here two months ago and this place always has fresh donuts. My kids do not prefer their kolaches because they are made with sausages rather than hot dog type filling (this is just my kiddos preferences). The donuts were a huge hit. Friendly staff, clean restaurant. :) give them a try! read more

This bright clean family-friendly atmosphere is just the place I needed to get my day started. I was greeted with a smile and a positive attitude, and left with bounty of goodies. As a self-described donut enthusiast, these are truly the BEST DONUTS. It's hard to put these donuts greatness in words, I guess I would say these donuts are like having a party in your mouth and only you and the donut are invited. Aside from their 5 star donuts, I highly recommend the boudin kolaches!!! Why are you still reading this? You should be in your car heading to Best Donuts right now!!!! read more

So, we decided to try this place out and got quite the spread. Chocolate sprinkle A+ Cherry sprinkle B Orange sprinkle B Cinnamon sugar A Powdered sugar C Buttermilk plain A Buttermilk chocolate glazed A+ Blueberry cake C, but I don't like cake doughnuts‍ Strawberry sprinkle A (tastes like strawberry milk) Plain glazed A Bavarian cream B Chocolate stuffed A *Bacon, egg, cheese croissant A *Bacon, egg, cheese breakfast taco with spicy salsa A++ (Extra plus for the delicious salsa.) Stuffed full! At LEAST two eggs, and nothing was overcooked. *Sausage, egg, and cheese taco D. Didn't like their sausage. Red and green salsa were both good. *Community coffee as your coffee choice? A+++ *Doughnut box F- It's flimsy, they should find a different supplier. *Parking C- Not enough Kolaches were huge, didn't try because I don't like kolaches. They had croissants with a sausage in them, I was curious about those. And about the boudin kolaches. I'll try those two next time. What I'd like to see is a croissant stuffed with boudin! read more

Only a few things I'd change based on my personal preference... they don't have unsweet tea. I don't care for sugar drinks while I'm eating sweets. Also, the salsa has sugar in it. Not what I was expecting. The donuts were great. read more

Tried it out. Place is clean. Wanted two jumbo sausage, cheese with jalapeño kolaches and received two plain ones. Fresh donuts with a drive thru for convenience! I enjoyed the twisted glaze, it was soft and tasted fresh. Will be back again!

We usually don't stop at donut shops, because we like savory breakfast, but I'm so glad I saw on Yelp that they have breakfast tacos, sandwiches and kolaches. We tried a few different things, and it was all delicious! The Western breakfast taco is big and hearty, and the spicy green sauce goes perfect with it. The kolaches were awesome! Some kolaches from donut places seem to have a sweeter dough. These do not, which I totally appreciated. The boudin one is insanely good and hard to put down or share. We also had a bacon croissant sandwich and a jalapeno sausage kolache. Both super tasty! We went through the drive thru, and if you do the same, check out the menu pics on Yelp before you get to the window, because that's the only menu there is. It's small, and you don't even see it until you actually pull up to the window. Hopefully they'll put a larger one on the back of the building soon to make the line go faster. read more

Just tried Best Donuts and the experience was very good. Got a half dozen glazed donuts. The service was quick and very professional. The place looks great and very clean (from what I could see from the drive thru window). While the donuts were good, I still like Shipley better. However, they are conveniently close and I will be back to try other things on the menu like breakfast tacos. Glad we have something good downtown. read more

I tried to like this place and have tried several things off their menu but it's all pretty Gross honestly. Taco Bell is literally better. It's like bland and soggy. Great food, breakfast burritos are on point. But is it hard to have a personality there. No one smiles. Drive thru or when you walk in. No good morning. Smile and have some pep when working. Very rude. This morning was my first time in there, I asked for a bacon egg sandwich. When I asked if they had any, the girl employee working just stood there and pointed at the sandwich, no smile or speaking. I check out, get in my car take a bite and realize it's a sausage. I go back in there and politely tell her she gave me sausage instead of bacon. She AGAIN does not say ONE WORD, she makes me pay for another sandwich (bacon) and still no smile or speaking. If I were to own a business I would want professional, friendly employees with good customer service especially if they're working the front. A smile goes a long way. :) read more
