I've never had a single issue at Fresh & Best Donuts--it's my go-to spot! I pass by every day on my commute to work and swing in a couple of times a month. The boudin croissants are absolute standouts; both the spicy and non-spicy versions are incredible, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.My wife always grabs the chocolate glazed donut, and she raves about it every time. The young lady behind the counter is always super friendly and welcoming. For years I came here sometimes multiple times a week . Over time they have had issues with gnats in their food case for quite a while it was a seasonal issue so I would avoid it half the year and during the colder months school months the case was gnat free and it worked due to the convenient location being near the school. I decided to check it out again to see if they have taken measures to address the issues. It was worse there were a family of flies camped out in the case not one not two but a score of them were either feasting or resting their full bellies . It's disgusting . There is a new donut shop in town and the smaller one near the pizza shop where the lady is kind and makes good donuts and I have never seen a gnat or fly at her shop . Visited the new location Today it was clean , prices were good , people were nice .and the donut had a better flavor so Sadly there is no reason for me to ever go back to best donuts which at one time was a weekly if not by weekly stop . read more

I give them a 2-. Mid-morning and no glazed donuts. My granddaughters couldn't believe a donut shop not having glazed donuts. Woman in charge was acting like she was in the middle of a mad rush of customers, but we were the only customers in the store that were ordering. She even physically pushed a teenage worker that was behind the counter with her. Very rude. Won't be back. read more

The dont even deserve a 2 star but they sold me spoiled milk and didn't do anything about it

The service here is terrible!!! Sadly it's mostly one lady and I get her the three times I went. But her attitude and lack of respect turned me off to even enjoy their donuts. Twice she messed them up and broke the long-John donuts. The donuts are fine but not worth the stress. Go to a different donut shop or go to the one on the other side of 380. Haven't been but it can't be worse then this one. I'll take my money to a place that treats people right. read more

Okay donuts but one of the rudest people I've ever encountered. I went in around 11:30 (30 minutes before they even close) and was trying to pick out my drink when the lady goes "can you hurry it up? I'm trying to close" I wasn't sure I heard her correctly so I said "excuse me"? And she responds "hurry up and pick out what you want and leave so I can close". I then watched her blocked the door from other people getting in and turn many people away when the sign on the door says noon. Just unexpectedly rude for no reason. read more

Stopped in to get some donuts and they tasted sour. Took one bite and spit it out thinking the dough was bad and they didn't know. I won't be returning. I will continue to go to the one in 380 instead. read more

I am not sure what to rate this place now. They do have a big selection of donuts and the burritos are good. The customer service I received today though was awful. As we pulled out of the parking lot to drop my kid off at school, my son starting making gagging noises, and said, "Mom, this chocolate milk is disgusting!" I recalled that the milk did not feel very cold, but it was the last of the small chocolate milks. I was curious, so I took a drink. I wanted to barf! It was spoiled rotten. I had to drop my son off and sent him with a water. I returned to the donut shop to tell them the milk was spoiled. I did not raise chaos and was very polite about it. There was no other milk that size to exchange it. I told him, they only had the larger milks, which if he wanted I didn't mind swapping it out. We usually get the small ones, because that's all my kid has time to drink before school. He rang me up for a larger milk and told me I owed him $. I was thinking, two of us just drank this spoiled milk, and you are asking for more money? (plus there is a $5 min and all I had was a credit card. I was like, "um No, return it or whatever you need to do." I didn't recieve so much as much as an apology from them! I really think that there refrigerators aren't cool enough for milk products, but they didn't seem concerned to hear anyone's thoughts. Sometimes, it is about how you handle situations. I understand that no place is perfect, but they could have easily swapped the milk out (even though the others were a little larger) and apologized. Because of the nasty milk, and the way it was handled, I will find a new donut shop to go to. read more
