Worst Customer Service - Lost Phone, No Refund I ordered a phone from Best Buy over a month ago, and it was lost during shipping. Despite repeated attempts to resolve this, they've refused to refund me, blaming a third-party seller -- even though I purchased through Best Buy. Customer service has been a nightmare: constant lies, empty promises to escalate, and outright refusals to cancel the order. I'm left with no phone and no refund, and Best Buy refuses to take responsibility. Avoid this company at all costs. If something goes wrong, they'll leave you stranded read more

We came here to pick up a specific Nintendo Switch game. Most Best Buys are laid out pretty similarly so we wandered until we saw any game and voila, the other console games were nearby. We thoroughly searched the aisle for the game noting the boxes and even the tags that were there. We couldn't find the title so we did a quick search online to see if they had any in stock. The website indicated that there were 3 in stock so we asked an employee for help. We were directed to the checkout where some of the games are kept and where you would pick stuff up for an online order. The cashier that helped us out informed us that we were getting the last copy. It seems like the online inventory might not always be that updated so you could call ahead if you're worried. While we were waiting, I wandered and saw that Best Buy actually carries musical instruments like guitars, ukeleles, and keyboards of various sizes. I can't attest to the quality but it did seem like they had some that were Yamaha which is a brand I've heard of at least. read more

It sure is a Best Buy. My two stars comes from one thing - their video game section has cards you need to pick up, or empty boxes, when you want a game. Then you have to walk to the front, wait in line, ask someone to grab the game from the cage for you. Which would be fine - you expect that - but then they tell you the game is sold out. So they put the boxes back, or leave additional boxes on the shelf. When I see a product, I'd like to know I can buy it. It's obnoxious that this isn't the case. That said - it's still a Best Buy and you know what you're getting. read more

Received excellent service from a representative named Lynne who helped me with a new phone purchase.

While the selection is good, the service at this Best Buy is basically non existent. When shopping with my mom, we were grudgingly shown to one of the tablets she was considering and then we were left to try it on our own. We were there for a good 20 min and no one offered help of any kind. When I asked if we could look at her second choice I was told someone would come to help; we waited at least 10 min and no one showed. It's clear the sales staff would rather chat than sell; I basically sold her a tablet myself - had I not been there she would have been completely lost. The manager was no help at all - he seemed mostly unconcerned. I won't be going back. *** The only exception to this poor service was the staff at the pick up desk. They were great. read more

Make sure you do your homework, and research at home online before buying anything here!!!!! 2 different guys think they are helping me by giving me completely wrong info about external hard drives I wanted to buy. Neither of them new absolutely anything about NAS drives, that they sell, and on top of it we're completely lying about everything they were saying. If I hadn't done some research on my own at home, I would've fallen for their stupidity, and bought something completely wrong. Worthless people there...they might as well not have anyone working in the store, and only have a cashier to cash you out. read more

Thank you, thank you to Daniel as well as his co-worker (sorry didn't catch your name, female, knowledgeable, supportive). Daniel you were a dream on the phone with my dilemma hence I drove to the Stockyards just because you were going to be on duty. Little did I know you would have had to spend so much time, effort and consideration to assist me in getting an old Blackberry up, running, unlocked (you even called Bell to get this done), good package for my use, and more. Your extreme patience, due diligence, calm approach when barriers were thrown your way. Awesome. A delight to have you look after me for which I am so grateful. So refreshing. Good luck to you. May you excel in your studies and career. PS. Don't know why my profile says I am from San Francisco. I am from Toronto. read more

NIRO : Store Manager(worst ever) I wanted to buy a new laptop for my son, so after work i stop at best buy stockyards . Walking into the store two guys greet me and say hello, i say hello back, while in the computer area looking at laptops i notice a guy stand and watching me, i walk to the tv area and he come walking behind me watching me again, i move to printer area, camera area there he is again watching me. I stop and approach him and say please stop follow me , he say he's not follow me (that's what they always say right) he also send one of his worker to ask me if i need help in store , i told the worker i don't need any help. I saw NIRO still following me and he told me i should shop somewhere else and he doesn't want me in his store, can u believe this guy, he think Best Buy belongs to him because he is the manger. I saw videos on youtube about security, manger harassing customer in store but i never experience it till now. I had enough of this manager NIRO, so i go the front desk area where u pick up online order and ask one of the girl for Best Buy Head Office phone number, the girl didn't know the number so she page NIRO, he came over and gave me the number and i told him he is the worst manger i come across and i will call head office about him. I go back walking around the store and he never bother me again. Best Buy 10 old stockyards rd read more

I had a horrible experience buying a TV at Best Buy. If my duress can preempt yours, it is not a total loss. I purchased a TV on December 28th, under the good faith assumption that it would be delivered the same day, only to have it arrive on January 31st. Almost five weeks later. I was informed of the delayed delivery after committing to the purchase (my bad for trusting in good faith I guess). The main reason I had it delivered was to get technical support to have it mounted on my wall. Only to find out it was unmountable. Apparently the wall parameters have to be super luxurious. They told me they would waive that part of the installation fee. Still, the duress over having waited five weeks, all for naught, was done. The picture quality is no better than the model I had before, which was around ten years older, and a third of the price. The picture quality looks nothing like it did in the store. QLED appears to be a total scam. Apparently you need to buy add on services to get that quality. The sound quality is worse than the TV I had before (my guess is I may need to buy add ons like speakers to address that problem too). In summary, I paid north of $1200 for something worse than what I had before, which cost closer to $400. The specific model I bought was Samsung QLED Q62A 55". I asked to have them take it back, requesting a full refund. They were semi-open to that, so long as I brought it back myself. Having a small SUV and a bad back, I decided to crawl out of the rabbit hole, and cut my losses. Two positives. The Geek Squad crew members were supportive and understanding. Customer service refunded my accidental damage insurance (which I never wanted in the first place but felt pressured to buy). I get that the individual staff members at Best Buy are not entirely responsible for these shady business tactics. It starts from above. I submit this review in the hopes of motivating those from above to be more honest and accountable in serving customers. Increase prices by 10% and I bet you will improve customer satisfaction by 100%. In the spirit of progress. Glendon read more

Have to say based on past experiences with this place I had very low expectations walking in to shop for a second TV. Nate was extremely helpful and I very much appreciated his honesty and no-nonsense candour. He was very knowledgeable and didn't waste my time with BS or pressure tactics. Thanks Nate! Very happy with the TV and price :) read more

Incompetent management made this a very unpleasant visit. Aside from the line ups that are to b expected on Boxing Day, they had staff who appeared to be just walking around trying to look busy with out customers. Given the size of this store a person at the front to answer questions would've been a lot more helpful compared to lining up with people who appeared to had less manners than a barn yard animal, With the hopes of getting what I wanted(with everyone wanting to accomplish different things),this entire season bestbuy has left me with a very bad taste, this situation combined with the sales people who treated me like a chump(by trying to tell me apple products don't have software for writing papers, making a spread sheet and designing a presentation) all in the hopes of selling me a subscription to MS office. This all after realizing the gift I was purchasing was a must have gift... Tsk Tsk!!! Very disappointing read more

I recently purchased a new Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 from Best Buy in September 2020. Amazing right, wrong! The laptop had a defect in the hardware, the crease were the bottom tray and keyboard meet was lifted on one corner. It wasn't noticeable but when you would close the laptop it would make a faint clacking sound since it wasn't properly constructed. Obviously after spending so much and a laptop I justified purchasing as a investments that would last for years I wanted to get this resolved before it could potentially effect the software or screen. Naturally, I go back where it was purchased. However, with the current circumstances in today's society aka a pandemic. I was not able to go back to a store until December 2020. In fear of my own safety and the employees at Best Buy/customers. Once there I spoke to a Geek Squad rep at Best Buy, lets call him Ben. I explain to Ben my concerns with the laptop. His response Best Buy does not handle Microsoft defected products and I would need to contact Microsoft directly. He explained the processes how I have to send in the laptop to Microsoft, they determine if it can be repaired, etc.. and he explains it will take over a month. I let him know I'm a student and need a laptop since everything is online. What am I suppose to do? His response I should send it in during my downtime. Yes, Ben once I complete my 4 year program I will contact Microsoft and let them know Ben from Geek squad said it would be okay to send it in during my downtime. That was just one of many arrogant and incentive comments I received during a already stressful and difficult time. At this point I'm completely baffled we're in a mist of a pandemic, the product that was sold was clearly defective, all that was required was a simple exchange. The laptop was less than 6 months and was otherwise in great condition aside from the defect. Instead I had to contact Microsoft and after a month I received a refurbished laptop. And I know a refurbished laptop is described as "like new", but the reality is I purchased a "new laptop" that's what I paid for. I shouldn't have been penalized for a companies poor quality control and being restricted by a pandemic. This didn't set well with me and I personally will no longer be supporting Best Buy and would urge others to do the same. If your fortunate enough to have a Costco membership, they have great prices and even better customer service don't waste your time or hard-earned money at a company who does not care about their customers. Customer service for major appliance purchases are abominable. It is difficult to reach the store. If you try to reach Best Buy customer service , they ask that that you contact the store. They will only provide details related to online purchases. This is after you waited 30 minutes to speak to someone and then another 1.5 hours on the phone while the representative tries to resolve your issue and says they can't help you and go to the store which you can't reach. Best Buy did a terrible job on delivery and installation. The installers had to visit twice because the 1st crew couldn't install. The deliveries were done piecemeal and later 1 item was no longer in stock even though the item had been paid in full. This was a terrible experience. read more

What can I say about Best Buy that everyone doesn't already know? It's an electronics store. I have bought several computers, a refrigerator, MP3 players, wireless speakers, a juicer, ear buds, a camera, two tablets, two televisions and lots of little things like software and I have never had any issues with the products or customer service at this location. So, yep...that adds up to a 5 star review in my book! read more
