This store and service really surprised me. We bought a refrigerator had it delivered and it was not working correctly. The manager would not give me the product I ordered for in-store pickup. I showed my phone and a copy of my ID, and he said he wanted the physical copy. When I returned with my ID to verify who I am, he said he had logged off his computer and wouldn't be helping me today, then told me to leave. He got mad because I told him to cancel my order and my Best Buy membership. read more

I've had two worthless encounters with this store in the last week. First was an appointment that Apple made for me when they couldn't resolve the problem by phone. Something about hard drive partitions. It's a half-hour drive to the store and the first thing the associate said was that Best Buy can't fix it, but they could send it out for $85 and then the price to get data off it started at $500 and up. Completely wasted trip. The second encounter wasn't an encounter because I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone when I called. I wanted to make an appointment to have an iPhone battery replaced. Their super-special, cutting-edge, futuristic "AI" phone non-answering system is especially designed to keep employees from having to actually talk to customers. My husband's computer crashed while we were traveling and the Geek Squad at this Best Buy was so helpful in advising us and assisting us in finding a new laptop to replace the one that was 10 years old. They always say that it could take 2-3 days to transfer everything over but they literally called us the next day to say it was ready. What a relief! The sales staff and Geek Squad staff were extremely helpful and professional. My parents have been using this particular Best Buy location for years and go on and on about how helpful they are. We were even able to get an excellent deal on a new HP laptop! I highly recommend this Best Buy location in Texarkana. They are the BEST! read more

I am done with Best Buy. I bought a 34 inch curved monitor, open box and excellent condition, assured that everything was in the box as if it was new. I get home, and there's nothing in there except the monitor the stand and the power cord. You turn it on, and it has to have a remote. There's no remote. There's no cords. Nothing else no instructions. I had to take it back to the store after talking to Best Buy on the phone and they said they would note my account that they assured me that I should be getting the parts or a replacement at no additional cost, but there's no notes! No record of the conversation! And the manager says she'll sell me another one, but it'll be at regular price less what I paid for the open box and I said that is not what I was told to expect. So the store gets what they want the customer gets screwed and any expectation that I had of being able to get this beautiful monitor. I can't even get the parts without paying for them through the manufacturer so they refunded my money and told me to go find another open box at some other store and have it shipped and hopefully it would have the parts in it. But they would not replace it in the store like the telephone representative assured me they would do. Period nobody keeps their word anymore. Go buy something, and then open the box and check it before you leave the store because you cannot trust people to do what they say or to give you what they promise. I went in to buy a laptop. The first guy showed me several and explained the difference in a few. We narrowed it down to one I really liked and I asked about virus protection. He said it's not extra and that even though it's not in stock I could have it Friday. He walked off and the next guy walked up and said it's does not come with virus protection and it could not be delivered to the store Friday, only my house. If I wanted it to the store it would be 10 more days. Very inconsistent sales staff and I don't know what to believe. I left confused and I won't be back to that store. read more

Geek Squad did not fix my problem. I gave them a monitor that was constantly blinking, tried different ports, different hdmi and display port cables and kept doing the same thing, I even tried using a different computer and it kept doing it. I had paid the warranty and they took it and sent it to be fixed. They had it for two weeks. When they gave it back to me they said they did not find the problem and just gave it back the way it was and so far the monitor is still doing the same thing. read more

This has to be the worst Best Buy store. So many times, I walk in and never can get waited on. Sales staff are normally in knowledgeable of their products. From now on if I want to purchase a Best Buy product I will go on line or shop the Longview or Shreveport locations because there is a world of difference. read more

Was at store trying to buy a tv , sales person walked by and said I was looking at the best one they had and walked off I stood around 10 minutes no sales people any where I finally just gave up and walked out to find several sales people standing around at door including the one that walked off before i could ask questions. I went into Best Buy Texarkana because I had received an ad for TV's. When I walked in through the front door three employees were standing by the front welcome desk. I looked and waived and one of them nodded towards me. I went back to the TV department. There were no employees there. I looked up some info online and figured which tv I would get but I had a few questions first. Two employees came out of the back room. I asked one for assistance. He came to help but said he worked in the warehouse and needed a different associate to assist. He said a female was coming. After a few minutes a nice young man came and helped me and answered my questions. He carried the tv to the front and checked me out. It is a smaller one. He asked if I needed help to my car but I said no. As I was being checked out I noticed a woman come to the front with a handful of items. She was visibly confused as there were another 3 associates huddled by the checkouts. Finally someone else told where to go to check out. It appeared they had as many employees as customers but helping the customers did not seem like a priority today. read more

I have purchased quite a few items from this Best Buy, but I will go somewhere else to buy a new phone. Went there today to purchase a phone accessory, For once, all the help were not with a customer. The person that finally got up to help me acted bored that I wasn't buying a phone, and provided minimum information on what I needed. She said that all the directions were in the package. Wasn't quite true! Needless to say even with looking on the website I messed the application up! Next time I will go to AT&T! I have had good experiences here, just not with the phone department. read more

Best Buy gets 0 stars I have bought 2 products from them in the last 3 mos. one was a Netgear router and the other a Seagate 5 tb external drive for my computer. I was told that both was compatible with Windows 10. Well guess what they are not. I tried their Geek Squad that came with the router. I was told it would cost me an additional $ 39 for them to download the drivers I needed. I declined that offer! I will never buy another thing from them again. I will also tell everyone I know how poor of the service at Best Buy is. Also, the Seagate drive just up and quit on me. $150 down the drain with all my data and pics. Actually this is the second Seagate that died on me. I suggest shopping at a Wal-mart or Target. They at least will let you return a product. My whole computer is backed up on the Seagate external hard drive. I am disgusted and PO'ed!!!!!!!!! read more
