I purchased a small piece of plywood that had to be sawn to size. The first person I asked said that the piece was too small to be sawn down further. And then, a few minutes later he found me in another part of the store to tell me that they actually could do that, took the piece and carried it over to the saw. Thanks! Appreciate it. A few days later I came back with it because another piece needed to be taken off. A very friendly store employee did that for me immediately and then took me through the store to look for all the other items I had on my list AND insisted to accompany me to the cashier to make sure they wouldn't charge me again for the piece of plywood I had purchased earlier. On a third trip I went to the store with a barbecue cover that was no longer in the box. We ordered a barbecue and cover on line. I put the barbecue together and tried to put the cover on it. Too small. But we already threw the box away. No problem. Showed them the online purchase and received an immediate refund to the credit card. Another helpful employee took me to the barbecue corner and found me a different cover that did fit. Yes. I really like this store.

After dealing with a gentleman from TELUS (Andre) I realized how long it had been since I had an issue with any business where I truly felt listened to and understood It has been a very long time. I understand that today there are Scripts that people must follow when they're working for any business and I understand that but this gentleman was different . I knew within five minutes that he was really listening to my problem and he was explaining the situation to me as well as taking the time to find out the answers he wasn't sure of from his superior. The issue itself doesn't matter but what shocked me was after about ten minutes I realized Weather it went my way or not I completely trusted this man did all he could and I would accept graciously. Our world needs people like this young man TELUS I don't know if you have a Human Resources Department But this gentleman should be in charge of that department We tend to write more complaints then complements so I wanted to take the time to share this compliment and I hope all in charge at TELUS realize what they have in this young man and give him a promotion or a raise or both .
