They had some great deals, in store deal was even cheaper than online... WIN!! They didn't have any in stock but, they honor there in store deals for shipping. The young lady who helped me was amazing(don't want to mess up her name)she was from Belize. Really sweet young lady and very helpful! She found me a open box Flip 7FE for even cheaper and 256GB, I snatched that up quick, coming from a 5. The store was well organized, like most, could they have used a little more staff...maybe, but they handled the floor well. My recent experience with Best Buy in Morrow, GA has been nothing short of a nightmare. On July 4, 2024, I purchased a TCL 85-inch TV from the Best Buy on Hammond Drive in Atlanta, GA. The next day, after paying to have it mounted by an independent contractor, I discovered the TV was missing essential components: no remote, no power cable, and no manual. Attempts to resolve this over the phone led nowhere, so I drove an hour back to the store. Thankfully, the store manager at Perimeter- Hammond Drive Atlanta GA location, John, eventually located the necessary accessories after going through multiple TV boxes. However, after further troubleshooting at home, the TV still wouldn't power on upon my return from a trip abroad. On June 18, 2024, I brought the TV to the Morrow, GA store for a return. This is where the real nightmare began. An associate named Michael Dennis initially assisted, but informed me the TV wouldn't turn on and claimed there was a crack in the screen. I had never removed the protective plastic, so I was unaware of any damage. When I requested to speak with a manager, I encountered Charmaine, who was not only unhelpful but also refused to provide her name despite repeated requests. Her customer service desk associate Faith also refused to give me her supervisor's name. Charmaine's demeanor was rude and condescending throughout the entire interaction. Charmaine insisted I return to the original store for any resolution, despite it being highly inconvenient for me. After speaking with corporate, Michael Dennis still refused to honor the return policy due to alleged damage. Frustrated, I made the trek back to the original store, where Sabrina finally provided the customer service I had originally expected. She promptly exchanged the TV for an 86-inch LG model without hesitation. Overall, the ordeal I endured at Best Buy Morrow was beyond disappointing. The lack of customer service from Charmaine and Michael Dennis was unacceptable, and their refusal to abide by company policy until Sabrina at another location intervened speaks volumes about their disregard for customer satisfaction. I will actively dissuade friends and family from shopping at any Best Buy store and am pursuing further action with senior leadership to address these ongoing issues. I am also sharing my experience online on every social media platform I am a member of to share my experience in hopes to prevent others from experiencing something like this. This experience has been a significant inconvenience, consuming unnecessary time, gas, and effort. Best Buy (BB) and Geek squad (GS)are a disappointment. Their customer service is awful! BB & GS require that you make an appointment to get their help even when they aren't busy. This happened to me on Sunday, the other customer hasn't shown up but he wouldn't see me even though he is free. When you schedule your appt you have to tell them what it's related to (in my case a battery replacement for an iPhone XS). They called me before the appointment to tell me they only had one battery left and I need to make sure that I arrive on time and complete their checklist to avoid being rescheduled (sign into your account, backup files, fully charge device, bring any needed accessories). I arrive on time and after running a diagnostic the GS employee inputs my info into the system and then proceeds to tell me there is a second part they need but don't have to fix my battery. Now they knew my phone model when I scheduled the appointment; why didn't they check it at that timeZ BB & GS need their own checklist to make sure they have all their parts instead of wasting my time (3hrs) over two days. l came in to get a screen protector replaced. I am a Best Buy member. I was informed that I would have to pay for install. The employee at the front was rude and not helpful at all. She asked what kind of phone I had. I told her and she said that was not correct. I had to show her the settings on my phone. I finally got to customer service and she was helpful. I went in and was told 10-15 minutes before seeing somebody. I sat for 30 minutes and was told I was taken off the list and could be "put back on" rather than being assisted then and there. I thought I was going crazy when I went to this location to purchase my son a tablet, but after seeing this location is only averaging 2-stars, I knew I wasn't the only one that had a bad experience at this Best Buy. I came here on a Wednesday afternoon with the intent on purchasing the Amazon HD Kids tablet. As soon as I entered the location, an employee seated at the front greeted me and informed me that if I needed some assistance with trying to get something, to simply return to the front and she would find someone to assist me. I walked to the back of the computer section where the tablets are sold and a sales rep was on the side holding a conversation with a lady about her laptop. Now when I walked to the back, there was no one in line. I stood near the register for about 3 minutes before the sales rep and the lady emerged from the side and returned to the register. Now instead of the sales rep saying "Hello sir. I'll be with you shortly." or "Hello sir. Are you signed up to receive any help?" he continues holding his conversation, ignores the fact that I'm standing there, and is all friendly with the lady like he was trying to get inside of her pants. I stood there for about 10 minutes trying to be patient, but I became aggravated. I walked back to the front where the first employee told me to return to if I needed some assistance. I told the employee that I stood in line long enough and I just needed to purchase a tablet and already knew which one I needed. The employee told me she needed to place me on a wait-list in order to be helped. I asked her why and how long it would take. She told me that's what they were doing for customers who needed help, several other people were already ahead of me, and that it would take about 20-30 minutes before I would be assisted. I'm already furious because I burnt about 15 minutes in there for nothing and that 15 minutes could have been used to wait for assistance. I reiterated the instructions she gave to me when I first entered the store about returning to the front if I needed help, but she didn't mention anything about being placed on a wait-list before receiving assistance. I asked to speak with a manager. The manager walks up to the front and I told him the dilemma I was having. I informed him that I needed a tablet and already knew the tablet that I was going to purchase. The manager tells me that I still needed to be placed on the wait-list to receive assistance, the wait-list was used for contact tracing purposes, and I would have to interact with an employee for any product that's locked up. I asked the manager why couldn't they just radio an inventory specialist to retrieve the tablet I needed, take it to the front lanes, and have me purchase it with a cashier so I can be on my way. The manager tells me they could not do that and I would have to be placed on the wait-list. They take no contact trace data from customers if they walk in to purchase something like a cell phone case, but if a customer wishes to purchase something locked up like a tablet, that's when they log all of the data for contact trace purposes. Where is the logic in all of that? Not to mention, I interacted with the employee at the front AND the customer service manager and they did not take my information for contact trace purposes. I didn't need a sales rep to interact with me for 30 minutes to show me all of the different types of tablets they sell. I didn't need a sales rep to interact with me for 30 minutes as they show me tablet protectors or try to sell me one of those Rocketfish or Insignia charging cords so they can make profit off of the accessories. I didn't need a sales rep to interact with me for 30 minutes as they try to influence me into changing my purchase from a $130 dollar tablet to a $1,200 laptop. I didn't need a sales rep to interact with me for 30 minutes so they could offer me the Geek Squad protection plan. The manager himself could have gotten the tablet and bring it to the front so I could purchase it, but he was too stupid to realize that although the customers who might not know what they want and can easily be influenced into buying higher priced product are a commodity, however the customers that know exactly what they want are a commodity as well because you're not tying up your sales rep with unnecessary gibberish. Let's not forget the fact that Best Buy should be happy to even see customers making purchases at their store when their sales numbers and revenue are being pummeled by the likes of Amazon, Wal-Mart, and Target. With that type of inefficient attitude and operation, it's clear that the manager or Best Buy won't be around for much longer. read more

I live in a ways away from Best Buys, so I called them asking if they had a Roxio HD PVR in stock and if they could hold it for me as I would be on my way to get it. They said yes. I drove an hour to the store to get the product. When I arrived, they didn't hold my item. I went to the back and asked if they had the PVR. The CSA literally took me on a tour of the store looking for it because he had no idea where it would be. He ended up getting the manager of his department and she did the same thing. They searched their computer for the product and saw that they had one, but couldn't find it. I ended up settling for a more expensive PVR. When I call a store to make sure they have a product, I expect the employee to check and see if it's on the floor not in stock on the computer. I've worked in retail and good non-lazy employee wouldn't do what Best Buys did. read more

The worse ever!!! The representatives walk around and completely ignore you when you're standing waiting to get a laptop pulled. I asked one rep if he was able to help me pull a laptop he looked around and said I'm really busy as he was walking toward the front chatting with another guy. I understand being busy but call one of your other 20 co workers to help me. I then looked at a lady with dreads she was like 4ft tall. I thought she was walking to come and help me but she simply continued to talk on her ear piece and walked right past me. She didn't even ask if I needed help. I tried to purchase a laptop on my Best Buy card to get the rewards but I did not have the card on me in person. The rep then typed in my information and the card flagged for fraud. I then had to purchase the laptop on my Visa card and did not get the reward points. I asked if I could return the laptop and purchase on my Best Buy card after I had cleared the fraud inquiry. They told me to come back the next day. When I came back the next day they would not allow me to purchase the laptop by typing in my card info even tho I literally just did it yesterday and they specifically told me to come back today. I was purchasing 2 HP Spectre laptops the least they could do is have better customer service. The only guy that was helpful was a curly hair guy. Came here to shop on Thanksgiving and the experience couldn't be worse. I saw two associates yelled and laughed at other customers. When I check out my TV, the cashier literally yelled at me and gave me an attitude, even though I was very polite to him and didn't even say anything. He didn't even ask if I am a reward member. The only reason why I would go this Bestbuy nowadays is because my mom still likes the traditional brick and mortar store and she drags me here. Will not shop at Bestbuy ever again. I went to the Geek Squad sign to sign in, but the woman standing there was busy with a couple and informed me it would be quite a while, so I first went to a camera salesman to see if they could adjust my problem with my Best Buy camera. They couldn't and sent me back to the Geek Squad sign up lady. I waited patiently. However, when the line cleared up, instead of helping me or assigning me an appointment time, she said she was going to the back room and would sign me in later. But she never came back! Very rude. I started a friendly conversation with them, and when this employee finished with her, she offered to look at my camera. She went to the backroom but came back in time, telling me she didn't have the proper tool and that the earlier woman told her to tell me she couldn't help me. However then, she did then fiddle with it just a bit more and solved my problem. I tried for 30 mins to get someone to help me. When I called the dept. the phone would ring and ring..Someone finally answered and put me on hold for over 10 mins. never returning..I called again and no one would answer. I finally got irritated and called another Best Buy located much farther from my house.
