Drove all the ways to this location to get an open box tv in what was labeled excellent condition. Best Buy says that open box items in excellent condition typically include original packaging. When I arrive the employee comes out and says it's an open box item but doesn't have a box. So it's just the tv outside the box. All protective plastics have already been removed and I have to find another way to mount it in the truck so that it's doesn't get damaged. I was able to fit it secure in back seat when I get home I notice the tv has a huge crack on the plastic opening where the stands go. Whoever is grading these tvs is blind. Ended up having to remount it back in the truck and take it back. Ended up having to buy a brand new one. Never buying open box again. Leave it to the location in Hialeah to do something like this. read more

I can Now understand its ratings on these platforms. Best Buy is actually the Worst Buy you can make. A company with horrible customer service and a company that doesn't stand by the products they sell. Eventhough I have actually been a best buy client for years and I am a member of their Total Tech program it is all the same to them. If you are offered this program let me tell you IT IS WORTHLESS. They do like to charge you for it but when it comes to using it.... nothing, NOTHING is included. So be prepared to pay for everything and expect bad customer service. We purchased an expensive Bose sound system and eventhough it is still under manufacturer warranty they say they don't deal with Bose. You have to either take it directly to Bose or pay "Best buy" for them to try and fix it. Plus shipping... plus everything. The Manager or Supervisor was not helpful at all and all they said was good luck. (So you are on your own) It would've been better to purchase directly through Bose and they would most likely take better care of you. Pleasant curbside experience! I'd been looking for a deep freezer. Then I found one and then beat buy was out of stock. I started looking on offer up and the such and saw someone trying to sell a chest style deep freezer for more than what they paid for it from Best Buy. While on Best Buy researching prices I saw that they had the one I wanted back in stock! Win! So I placed my order and set it for pick up. I was not paying $69 for delivery. I notified them that I was there when I got off of the highway and literally by the time I pulled up to the front, the guy was already at the door with my upright freezer on the dolly. I love doing a pick up order and it telling me it's ready to be picked up only to go out there after work to find out the system is down. Well I went back to the store today after they reinstall my operating system on my mac a couple months ago and it will not accept the update from apple, I took it to aventura apple store genius bar for diagnostics and they said it was a bad configuration that I had to leave it for a week to get service so I decided to bring it to bestbuy hialeah only to find out that since is more than 30 days I need to pay $99 again for another 30 days warranty, I don't think is fair because apple told me is a bad configuration on theirs side and unless I dont try to update I would not know if it is right this time, the bestbuy employee was very rude and unhelpful, I hope this will help you guys decide well before taking any electronic for service at this store. Yes, this is my local Best Buy, "BesBai" in the lovely Hialeah accent (I'm from there so I can Crack the joke). This place is where I go for retail therapy (ie needing a gadget) and have found the service to be fairly knowledge after you get it. Yes, like other reviews mention there is often a wait since the store seems to be understaffed. Still and all, I've always been able to find almost anything from a 64GB SD card to a radar detector and a super cooling fan for when I need to work on weekends and the AC is off in my office building. I've also seen they sell DVD ' S and music CD's (yeah, those). The store looks fairly clean as well. My one "hack" would be to order your item of choice through Best Buy's website and pick it up at the store Geek Squad window. I've never had to wait more than one or two days, not worry about someone being home for UPS, and shipping to the store is free. read more

I came to this location near the Palmetto to purchase a new television and was very impressed with how knowledgeable the staff was and how helpful they were in making sure I was excited and happy with my purchase. My TV was less than $400 total and provided great picture quality. The store was very organized and easy to navigate to any section to seek out specific items. read more

I have been going to this Best Buy in Hialeah since I first moved into the house I own in Hialeah in the early 2000's so its been like 19 years now that I have been coming to this store. Most of the time when I visit the store its to pick up a video game that I ordered on their website as a store pickup because it didnt meet the free delivery requirements or to come in the store to see some technology in person like tv's, computer monitors, to see what condition they have game boxes on the shelves, etc. I am a big video game collector and own almost 100% of the titles from several different gaming systems so purchasing games in pristine condition for my collection is very important for me to keep them mint as part of my collection without any scratches on the disc or damage to the cover of the game box or art box. One of the reasons why I prefer to buy video games in person instead of just ordering the games online from Amazon (even though its more convenient) is because when I buy the games in person I can examine the game cases for damage, loose disc which might be scratched inside the case, damaged art boxes, etc. When you order video games online you just dont get that opportunity, most of the time retailers (including Best Buy and Amazon) just stick the video game inside of a padded envelope or if your extremely lucky a cardboard box with minimal or no padding so the items will arrive scuffed up when their delivered. One of the things that I hate about buying video games at this Best Buy location is that for the collectors editions of the games that have bulky boxes they put the spider wrap alarms around the art box but they dig in so deep into the box that it messes up the game box which is a total no no for collectors that purchase "collectors editions" of games, in the process of trying to prevent theft they damage their own products. A smarter idea for not damaging the collectors editions of games while still preventing theft would be to put them in a display cabinet behind lock and key like they do for small consoles or to put the collectors edition boxes inside of those plastic boxes that have alarms that way the box isnt ruined by the spider wrap alarms digging into the art box. The experience that I have had with store pickups for video games in this store have been mixed, sometimes the video game that I will schedule for pickup will have the disc loose inside the case (which I hate because the disc might be scratched) and the store representative in the pickup area will either call someone to see if they have another copy in better condition in the store or let me go to the shelf and pick one out in better condition instead of the damaged copy that was delivered to the store. A few times when I scheduled a video game pickup they put a pickup sticker on the chipboard art sleeve that goes over the game box and it has lifted part of the art off of the sleeve when the sticker is removed and the store representative has refused to exchange the damaged sleeve for another one in better condition from the shelves but I didnt want to argue with them because the game was on sale and the disc was not damaged inside the case so I just let it slide. A smarter idea would be for Best Buy to put the video games that have art sleeves over the game box inside of clear plastic bags and then put the pickup sticker on the plastic bag instead of on the art sleeve which might lift off the art when the sticker is peeled off. The employees in the store can be helpful at times but other times I see them in groups talking to each other and not helping customers. During the slow hours usually Monday - Friday during work hours when everyone is working and the store doesnt have that much foot traffic I have actually been surprised when some of the store representatives walk up to me and ask if I needed help with anything but during the weekends when its busy its alot more common to see the store representatives talking to each other in groups and not helping customers. The selection of items available at the store for Gamers and PC Gamers is limited compared to places like Amazon and Newegg which sell parts like high end computer motherboards, high end ram, high end computer monitors, PC cases, computer case fans, cpu's, video cards, etc. I would also like to see things like Raspberry Pi's sold at Best Buy (come on even Microcenter and Fry's sell Raspberry Pi's but Best Buy doesnt?). I am also disappointed that Best Buy has decided to discontinue the Gamer's Club which offered discounts on video games for being a Gamer's Club member, it was one of the reasons I purchased video games in Best Buy over other places but now ill just buy them from the place that I can pick up video games in person so I can inspect them for damage with the lowest prices. Overall I would rate this Best Buy a 3/5, it could be better but its not the worst either. read more

What can I say about my favorite electronic store? I've been coming here ever since Circuit City closed down many moons ago. I pretty much buy majority of my electronics (when they are on sale!!). I purchased my sons' Nintendo switch from here and was advised by an employee to purchase their gamer's club membership for $30, which is good for two years. You pretty much get 20% off any new game and it also applies when its on sale, so with all the savings the membership pretty much pays itself out. I've been doing a lot of online ordering for games that be on sale, they take an additional extra $1 off so majority of the games I get for over 40% off. I like Best Buy, because they offer price match and their customer service is always on point. I'm a savvy shopper, but I'm always looking for deals. Now, we have other retailers like Target and Walmart and yes the competitors will give you a run for your money, but like I said before, you can't beat getting that extra percentage off those games, so Best Buy will get my money and if use your Best buy credit card that additional points in obtaining reward certificates its a win/win situation. I will recommend Best Buy when they have sales, but I suggest to shop around to see who has the better bargains, but this store and location is my favorite place to come. I advise you to visit if in the area. read more

We order all our kitchen appliances, and paid for them. We told the Sales person we were doing our kitchen and needed the appliances ASAP. We were told most of the appliances were in stock and the remaining ones would only take a couple of weeks. They have missed the delivery dates and keep pushing them months away. Now they are telling us next year. They lied they now have caused us big problems with our contractors. Messed up everyone's schedules. We are now without a kitchen. I went to Best Buy to take advantage of some pre-Memorial Day sales that were going on last week. My fridge (the used one that came with the house) I bought last year gave out for the second time in two months...the other kitchen appliances were also in pretty bad shape so I decided let's just get all new kitchen appliances. I was helped out by a one of the saleswomen at the appliance section of Best Buy by the name of Stefania. She patiently helped in choosing all my new kitchen appliances. They had a good sale going and I got my Samsung refrigerator, oven, dishwasher and microwave at a great price....saved over $1305...that's a lot of money! She took the time of showing all the available products in the store and when I didn't see a microwave or oven which I liked in the store, she found ones I did like online and made the order for me. She was super helpful, friendly and provided fantastic service. If I need to make another major appliance purchase I will definitely come back to Best Buy. read more

I was told to wait 2 minutes...after I waited 20 minutes I asked one of the employees to have somebody else hand me the laptop I wanted so could pay and leave. Still nobody was able to do this for me. When I asked for a manager at the front of the store, I was told he was on his way. After 15 more minutes of wasting my life, it was obvious the manager was not coming. It's obvious the employees of the store take on the same work ethic as the manager, pure garbage. I saw about 80% of the sales people either on their phones (texting or facebooking) or talking to each other. No one came and asked me if I needed help. I just purchased an iPhone8 not by choice but my previous iPhone broke so.... needed a new Mophie charger bought a black one, didn't work turned around to exchange it (Same day) and there were no more black Mophie cases in stock. So I said ok get me any color doesn't matter so got a dark blue, which is the most similar to black and.... they decide they are going to try and charge me an extra $30 for the color difference (read both boxes, only difference was color) no trying to help, no apologizing for the situation just the hard faces with TFB to a Paying customer. Customer service at Best Buy is a joke. By the way I'm a Best Buy Platinum Reward members (which means I spend over $1k/year with them) still I get no service. This is the last time I Buy at best buy. Returned my Mophie got my money back and will spend it on Amazon tonight buying my Mophie. This is directed mostly at their Geek Squad service. I bought my phone a little over a year ago and now it's having issues with the battery. I pay $10 each month for their insurance coverage and when I need to use it, I still have to pay $200 for a new phone. When it gets here, it's just the phone without the battery or charger, which is what I needed most of all. Their employees don't know how to properly explain things and charge ridiculous prices for their own gain. If you need insurance coverage on your phone, you're better off going to your carrier instead of using Geek Squads'. The Best Buy itself is okay. Sometimes employees are chatting it up with other employees and don't bat an eye at you, which can get annoying, but that's all. read more
