They have a fun selection of other items to look through as well. The books seemed reasonably price but in my opinion everything else was OUTRAGEOUS!! There was a large squeaking pig dog toy for $70!!!! Do people actually spend that for a novelty? We did end up buying a record (not my choice) at a whopping $40. We mapped this place but honestly didn't have high hopes, simply due to the small town in which it's located. However, we walked inside and it is full... and I mean FULL of all kinds of geeky wonders! Comics galore, figures, vintage stuff, toys, you name it! My kid was able to a fat stack some sought after Invader Zim comics she's been hunting for ages. Husband got some graphic novels to hold him over. And yes, I found some manga that I'm super excited about for the flight home. These are like... some kind of obscure manga I've not found elsewhere. Bonus! Prices are great! The fella at the counter was super nice! We really, really liked this shop! We'll stop in again the next time we visit the area.

Seriously one of the nicer FYE's I've been to. And it's connected to a Suncoast Video..which are…read morejust so unbelievably rare these days. Both stores are always very clean and organized. The selection that they carry is a lot more than a lot of the other FYE's. The employees here are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. So why no five stars? Well first off its an FYE so their prices for anything non-used are pretty outrageous. They always have decent sales going on, but for just regular from the rack items..holy hell. Now the big reason it's not a five star review..and the reason I feel it's too much to even give four stars for..is that again it's an FYE and they have that horrible practice of harassing you at the registers to join their club or buy a magazine subscription or sign up for these other things. I will never understand the ideology behind basically punishing your customers for actually making a purchase with this harassment. It's not the cashiers fault either, as I assume they have quotas to meet and get disciplinary action against them if they don't meet them. So yeah, it's super cool to have a great conversation with an employee, joke around and have a good time, then completely piss them off at the registers by turning down all their offers. Such a great dynamic you've created for your customers FYE!

They did have some more things that I don't recall them having from other times I was in there. All the Fall stuff was out and well stocked. They also had more jewelry and bracelet making items. Prices were kinda high compared to what I was use to paying at JoAnns. Not sure if that is inflation or just Michael prices. The lady at the checkout was really nice when I needed her help.
