This is the ABSOLUTE BEST DOGGIE DAY CARE IN VERO! Cindy the owner is super knowledgeable about dog…read morebehaviors, socializing, training, everything to know about dogs she does! Meet and Greets are 100% mandatory to ensure the dogs are comfortable being in a space with multiple dogs before Cindy will even agree to have your pet at daycare really showing how much she values her employees and the dogs safety. I also love how many employees she has working at a time to make sure the play doesn't get rough and no dogs get injured which happens a lot at other daycares. ANOTHER THING they somehow are able to cut ANY dogs nails. I have a husky mix and she cannot stand getting her toes clipped I took her to the vet, petsmart, and even other daycares but they have a dog whisperer in there and I will never take my dog anywhere else to get her nails clipped for only $5 if your dog is in daycare or $10 if they aren't! AMAZING PRICES, PEOPLE, And CARE!!!!!

A Dog's Life in Vero was recommended to us by a good friend who takes her doberman there for day care. We met with the owner, Cindy Wold assured us that Panzer would be welcomed and that she would work with him. She was very knowledgeable in dog behavior and within 1 week she had him join the other dogs and worked wonders with his leash training. We had been using a harness on him to control him on walks but now we have him on a regular leash. The facility, A Dog's Life is clean, spacious and well ventilated. Her staff is very attentive and are with the dogs at all times, you can see that they do care for their 'guests'. I highly recommend this place.

It was a slow process in getting her to trust me but I was able to get her to open up. She was ready to be slowly introduced to a calm pack of daycare dogs. Her issue was trusting humans not so much other dogs. If Kim or Sean saw something off or wrong with how the dog was responding to other dogs or the handler, the proper steps would to be to stop or slow down the introduction. Rather than putting a scared dog in a situation where it could potentially bite someone out of fear, they took the steps to protect the dog and others from getting hurt. Once a dog has bit someone it will do it again, because what was scaring it move away after it was bit. The dog now thinks to itself "Hey that worked! I'm bite every time I'm scared to get it to stop and go away." Also when a dog has bitten someone the dog could be deemed as "Dangerous" according to Code of Ordinance section 302.09 (2). Working in the Animal/Pet care profession can be very stressful and for the most part the public does not see that. We work with animals on a daily basis and deal with worried and concerned pet owners who at times are not educated and use opinions biased on limited experience.

The staff here is friendly and handle Maggie Mae with love and kindness which is very important to me. The grooming is well done and not as expensive as others I have used here in Vero Beach. Most important Maggie Mae is happy here. I have also used Banfield for my Maggie Mae, appointments are always available quickly and the vets always spend the necessary time with their patients again always treating them with kindness, love and sympathy for what they are going through. I can honestly say my experience since moving here to the Treasure Coast in 2010 the veterinary services are not as expensive as others and better as they are very thorough. Yes they do up sell but that is why you have a mind and you can say yes I want to do that, no I don't think I want to do that or I really wish I could however I can't afford it... all no different than any other vet out there. Bottom line is I have used Pet Smart for bathing and grooming as well as food and toys etc. I have aslo used the Banfield Veterinary clinic and have yet to be disappointed and they do a great compassionate job in handling my Maggie Mae.... Thank you Pet Smart and Banfield!!!

Unfortunately, this is a perm. condition and not contagious per my vet. I late spoke to store mgr. when I was refused a second time grooming. store mgr. stated new policy although my dog was groomed there in Feb. and has been going there since 2018. My groomer recently left. On Wed. May 21,2025 I again attempted to use their walk in option for a nail trim for my dog. I arrived at 5pm and they have a walk in policy for a Yappy hour nail trim from 2-6pm there were 3 employees there and none were grooming a dog. I was told no one could help me.............What is this salon doing? There is NO service there........what a shame that it has become a no service salon. I would not ever recommend this place---they say they have new management??? well it's certainly needs a lesson in customer service.
