They did a meridian scan and I was impressed. What it showed was exactly how I was feeling. Dr. Jo came in and then went over the results and did my acupuncture session. If I go to the Chiro my adjustment last for only a few hours, then it starts to hurt again. I have have tried several other methods to relieve the pain, acupuncture always seem to give me the longest relief. Every time i see Dr Cha, it's like the first time. She always ask me a lot of questions and wants to know everything that is going on with my pain. She doesn't rush the treatment, and always ask me if i'm comfortable, which is very important to me. Being a medical Dr too, she knows the body and what is causing the pain. I had massage, acupuncture and cupping. I feel great and will continue to see Dr Cha in the future. So I was recommended a crapload of herb pills plus the ones I originally came for (hair loss) ended up spending $435. I took supplements for one week and started breaking out in hives. After needle placement, you're left to relax or sleep (bring your own audio if you want). Last ~10-15 minutes is acupressure massage, which can be painful, but always leaves me feeling better than when I came in. Occasionally, the Dr. does cupping treatment to boost circulation for a few days beyond acupuncture/acupressure. It's painful, but effective and my marks fade within a few days. He says "no pain, no gain." Dr. is adept at diagnosing muscle/joint issues usually by watching you walk in the door and just a few questions. Sometimes the injury/cause is not where you think, but the Dr. knows. My elderly mom and several of her friends also go there and also recommend this place widely. For those of us who work on computers all day, this is a great place to get some remedy for repetitive stress and too much sitting. Also, I referred my elderly Iranian lady neighbor who had been suffering with lower back/leg/hip pain and reduced mobility for several months.
