His carpentry skills are out standing! He built us the most beautiful, creative shelves in two bedrooms. He turned an ugly closet into a walk in panty that everyone loves. Floor to ceiling custom made shelves that make the area look amazing. He made us a custom hood vent for the oven. It's so much better than we ever dreamed. The kitchen is now my favorite place because of the transformation from cabinets, farmers sink, tiled wall to the hood vent. The main bathroom needed to be gutted out due to wet, rotted wood. Prior to him starting, the floor was spongy and the room smelled musty. I now have a bathroom that looks like it's from a magazine. We had True Measure do a total renovation of a 45sq foot bathroom, pictures below. Rob was always easy to reach and talk too. Rob kept us in constant loop about how the project was going. And issues that needed to be addressed. Rob was very conscious of our budget and managed to stay with in it. We will be using True Measure Construction again. I would highly recommend to others.

If I could give Tom more than 5 stars - I certainly would. Finally....finally... a home…read moreimprovement person in Massachusetts who actually shows up and does what they say they will do. I had Tom come out to give me an estimate for a number of small jobs around the house that I needed to get done before putting the house up for sale...some painting, repairing a sticking door, replacing a towel rack that I tried to do myself and royally screwed up, replacing a small deck outside the back door and some patching and painting of drywall that had cracked. First, Tom showed up exactly on time for our appointment for the estimate - first very good sign since my experience with contractors/handymen is that they work on their own time. Tom was super nice and very friendly. He looked at all the work I needed done and took notes. We had a nice conversation and I immediately felt comfortable with having him in my home to do the work without me being there. When the estimate came in it was more than fair for the work to be done. I accepted his estimate and we set for him to start on Monday. Again, based on my past experience, I really didn't expect him to show on Monday, but he did and got a lot of the work done. I was so pleased when I got home and saw how much he had done and that he worked very cleanly. Tom came back on Tuesday to finish up and everything is perfect. The work is high quality and you can't even tell any work was done in the places he fixed/repaired. I could not be more pleased with the great job that Tom did and I would recommend him to anyone and will definitely call him again should I need any work done.
