I would also recommend her for getting your engagement ring and/or wedding band cleaned periodically. She will literally come to meet me at my workplace in Santa Barbara to pick up my rings and then drop them off for me--extremely convenient and a quick turnaround! Besides denying facts and not taking responsibility . When i dropped off my necklace I asked the owner to measure it, "18 inches " he said and I looked, SAW it with my own eyes . 18" it was. Few days later I picked it up with 200% trust on this new found business , only to get home, put back my necklace and notice it was shorter, when measured it was just a tad over 16 inches, NOT 18" ! I called them right away, had to go back to their shop for them to believe me ! And then deny the fact that somehow my necklace got shorter in theIR shop. Juan denied He measured it . They could've said " we had to repair it that way " " mistake or loss happens " whatever ! it was a stressful experience How could I trust JJ again? I was supposed to go back to them for the "extension " but I took it to another jeweler in town and it was confirmed i got screwed, I sent my necklace back to Tiffany , their repair department will get my necklace back to the original length 18 inches , paying the original seller across the country feels safer despite the time lost - timeline happened to matter too- but I rather do that than take something to this biz again, I might be just another customer but one that sadly wanted to support a local business and was let down. It is hard not to become cynical as one gets older and less trusting, but Kim and Howard are honest, professional and kind human beings and take their work seriously. They were worth the 2.5 hour drive to have my watch worked on by them. If you live even closer, then you are that much more lucky to have a jewler and watch specialist near you.
