It is not common for a housekeeper to respond to reviews accusing that her customers are abusive. She also uses psychological terminologies diagnosing her customers that are not happy with her services. This tells a lot about her mental health than the people that she is responding to. After experiencing her services I do believe the negative ones, including the review that she was caught eating someone's refrigerator content in the security camera. Cameras don't lie. I hired her for move in / move out deep cleaning. The house was empty and there was no trash. I needed her to actually clean, like vacuum and wipe surfaces. She showed up by herself, with her husband driving her and sitting in the car, light equipment, and texted me 1 hour later that she is all done. I came back and none of the cleaning I requested was done. I wipe surfaces and it shows a lot of dust which is exactly what I told her to clean. It was getting dark and she was getting aggressive demanding money. I sent her the money to make her go away and I was going to call the police if she did not. Later, she said she won't actually come back to clean the house and make it right, because I already paid her; She gloated about this, saying that I can't do anything about it because I paid her already. Her attitude was very entitled and her tone was that she did me a favor. Her pricing was higher than a 6 person crew that came to clean a house twice the size, that showed up with a lot of supplies, and spent 7 hours deep cleaning. I would leave negative stars if I could. I requested a deep cleaning service because we are selling our house and were getting photos taken right after. Berta and her crew not only charged an outright fortune for their cleaning service, they wrecked my white couch and towels, and did not clean a single window in the house.... I would expect if i requested a deep clean, that would include something as basic as cleaning windows...: I am a clean person by nature and upon walking in the house, nothing looked extra clean or sparky..oh but she did manage to make stains all over!!! If I wanted a basic dust, counter swipe, and vacuum I would have expected $150-200 (1600 sq ft house). But what do I get charged!? $395!!! Then I had to get my WHITE LINEN couch professionally cleaned after what I assume is toilet bleach since it was on my bathroom towels too, which was $300. So I spent $695 for terrible service, ruined furtinute, but oh my floor at leasttt got a wipe... The worst part is when I confronted her on the issue over iMessage, including photos of what was ruined (and I again, I am clean person so I can tell when something has been moved, adjusted, or moved), but instead of taking any kind of responsibility, she ghosted. Took my money, wrecked my stuffed then went silent. And I think she blocked my number because what was iMessage, is now a text. I would have even accepted an apology of money was tight, I have tons of empathy - but no response at all!? Not only did she tackle the usual cleaning tasks with care and attention to detail, but she also did so much more. She cleaned my Dyson fan (a chore I always forget about), put my dirty bed sheets in the washer without me even asking, and scrubbed my oven until it looked brand new. It pays to have in-home cameras. SURPRISE!!! Oh and did not bother washing out knife that she found as she rummaged our drawers. 2. Cleaned our whole house. Took less than 2 hours. And the work showed for it. Dust is still everywhere. Toilet seat still dirty. 3. They used black gloves and left it on a counter top. I didn't know that I hired a cleaning lady so that I can clean up AFTER her. 4. All trash was left in my garage steps for me to throw out. 5. She came in to clean expecting to wear the shoes she wore outside to walk all over my house. Counter productive if you ask me. Excuse me...TAKE YOUR BLOODY SHOES OFF!!! 6. Furniture and rugs were not moved and lifted. Just vacuumed around. UPDATE: Bertha called my wife disclosing she has a "diagnosis" that is considered as Protected Health Information (PHI) in my line of work. I work in the healthcare industry. Do not give them any of your business, they promised me they would come one day and ended up rescheduling for the following morning. Once they showed up they asked for more money than they originally had quoted me. I was also told that they would wash dishes and before they left, I was told that all the dishes were clean. Not until after they were gone and I went to put the "clean" dishes away did I noticed that they were untouched and filthy. She also clearly communicated our holiday schedule ahead of times. She gave me the choice of the Wednesday before thanksgiving or the Saturday after. I chose the Saturday. Who wants to do thanksgiving dishes? Specifically regarding the cleaning, she does a good job.... There needs to be a little extra attention on the dishes.
