This is an open restaurant at the airport. They serve food and drinks. It was pretty empty despite the massive crowds coming off the plane. They are a bit pricey, but they are quick and the staff are friendly. The guac was good and the drinks were strong. The waitress made our drinks a double without us asking. It was our first place we went to in Mexico after getting off the plane. They can do so much to enhance to experience and get more people as they wait on their transportation. I hope you enjoy your experience more than I did.

This is an airport restaurant. The floor was sticky, table was dirty and had a lady sit next to me with her dog. Listen restaurant may be dog friendly but that doesn't mean the patrons are or have to be themselves (I was totally irked about that situation). I kept it simple with a chicken quesadilla (more like a cheese quesadilla) but only received a few pieces of chicken. It was fine.

I went to Berryhill for lunch at the Cancun airport and got the Chipotle Shrimp Quesadilla. It was good, but not much better than the quesadillas I've had in the US, although the cheese was cooked well. I also got the mint lemonade, which was average. The waitress was friendly, and we got our food in a fair amount of time even though there were lots of customers at the restaurant. However, when it came to the service speed after the meal, that was a different story. Even though we asked the waitress multiple times for the bill and she acknowledged it, it took her forever to bring it to us. Overall, Berryhill is a fine option for a meal at the airport, especially if you want to avoid having to go through the security line first. That being said, it might not be the safest bet if you're trying to make your flight in time.

I asked a friendly local (who I'm not sure if he worked at the airport or was one of the many people trying to sell a ride) what he recommended eating in the airport and he admitted it was grossly overpriced food. But he said I could check out here or there was also Guacamole Grill in terminal 2 where I was headed. Apparently he used to work there and said they're owned by the same people. Went with Berryhill just because they were closer and I was hungry. Street tacos and tamales are my go to's for Mexican food, so I went with the tamales (choice of 3 - pork/beef/chicken/beans/spinach & corn) for a little over 200 peso (~$10). Came with black beans, Mexican rice and mole sauce. Chicken was dry, beans were literally just black beans, and the spinach & corn ended up being pretty moist and yummy. They also brought over salsa verde and roja which I used rather liberally to compensate for how dry they were. The verde was very mild and tasted of bananas whereas the roja tasted like chipotle. The mole sauce was also pretty good, a little tangy. Overall, not the worst airport food I've had, but nothing memorable. It's about the same amount I would pay for airport food in the states, but it's expensive considering it's Mexico.

Nice outdoor cabana style restaurant if your waiting outside the airport but menu is a tad bit expensive for Mexican and not very tasty. There's an open bar and also a fresh guacamole cart that comes around but that pricey as well. You're better off trying Margaritaville which is adjacent. Also, there are no electrical outlets to charge your cell phone after a long flight

I had the original breakfast tacos, mint lemonade, my husband got pancakes with bacon. The breakfast tacos which I forgot to take a pic of was wrapped up in foil, not sure if It was because we were sitting outside? It was loaded with eggs cheese chorizo pieces. With the salsa it gave it more flavor. The mint lemonade only had a hint of mint. I was expecting maybe a mint leaf in there but nope. My husband's pancake was a big portion he like the bacon but didn't finish the pancake he like it. overall it's a good place to chill kill time waiting for your flight, plus if your outside your enjoying the last rays of the sun.

Located right outside the terminal (4?). They accept credit cards which was great because I had to wait to my group to arrive 5hrs later or pay $150 for a ride to tulum by myself. I ordered the cheese quesadilla with guacamole and pico de Gallo which was refreshingly good for the hot and humid weather. I just sat there in the heat enjoying beers until my group arrived. My total came out to be about $25 for the quesadilla and two beers. Kind of pricey but there was no where else for me to sit and wait for my group.

Cute little bar and grill outside of the airport. Great customer service. I was greeted with warmth and smiles. I sat at the bar to charge my phone while I waited for my friends to get off their flight. Sex on the beach (a little too lemony but still good) plus a chicken and rice dish which wasn't half bad. You're not going to get anything authentic here. It's reminiscent of a Chile's restaurant but for the purposes of waiting for my friends, it more than served its purpose.

I was looking for decent airport food while waiting for my flight back to the United States from Cancun (after a relaxing stay at the @joiabyiberostar Paraíso). What I found was a surprisingly delicious eatery providing tourists with the final flavors of the Yucatán. The colors and textures of the eatery are intended to remind tourists as much of the warmth and coziness of a hacienda as one can get from a food stall in an airport. Hacienda serves breakfast in addition to lunch and dinner specialties. This is not an eatery to enjoy if your plane is about to board--there was a fifteen-minute wait before the food was ready. I ordered the: Cochinita Tacos (Yucatán-style barbecued pork with pickled red onion) Lime Soup (chicken broth, sofrito, sour lime) Agua de Chaya (leafy perennial shrub native to the peninsula) Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and delicious. I am already planning a trip to the area this year. Usually someone who doesn't like to wait long at the airport, I will definitely make time to experience the panuchos, salbutes, and Motuleño-style eggs. It's rare that one is excited to eat airport food.

I ordered the steak chilaquiles, which were tasty, and a kiwi strawberry lemonade that sounded refreshing but was difficult to drink as it had chunks of fruit and they kept clogging the straw. It wasn't sweet or tangy, watery yes. I added sugar and it made it worse haha. We ordered 6 waters that came in bottles, and one came already opened. When we pointed it out, the staff refused to take it back and still charged us for it, which was frustrating. While we waited, one of my friends, whose feet were swollen, briefly propped them up on a metal chair (which had no cushion and she was not wearing her shoes), a few seconds later, a staff member quickly told her to put them down and not in the nicest way. The (other) worst part was the wait for the bill. Despite asking for it with time to spare before some of us had to catch a flight, it took them 32 minutes to bring it (I counted). The restaurant wasn't even busy, yet the service was slow and inattentive throughout. In short: good food, but poor service, inflexible staff, and a lack of urgency, not ideal when dining at an airport in my opinion.

Many of the dishes have strange ingredients that the regular gringo hasn't heard of, which makes this even more exotic! I consider myself a mexican food expert, to some degree, and they're serving dishes that are so inventive, so wild, so fresh, so delicious! The dining area is split between a covered outside area, and seating on the grass overlooking the lagoon. Be careful, there's alligators in there! The service was fantastic- the waiter was patient, spoke English, and made excellent recommendations. I got fish with peppers, octopus ceviche, and some mezcal, followed by a honey and anise Mayan drink. All of which were delicious! My dining companion had a strange pepper with some fish- also nom! Coming here was like a history cuisine lesson, mixed with delicious food, wonderful scenery and a pleasant meal! My favorite part of this place is the artwork when you come in.
