I came in for SNS with a tip and chrome design, expecting it to last at least two weeks. Unfortunately, within a week, multiple nails fell/broke off, indicating a poor application. I promptly contacted the spa, and they agreed to redo my nails at no extra cost (photos of our messages attached). However, during my return visit, my nail technician seemed visibly upset, leading to a sloppy and unclean job. Despite the poor service, I still decided to leave a tip. To my surprise, as I left, the employees chased me down, insisting I pay an additional $15 for "cat eyes," a term I have NEVER heard (despite getting my nails done MULTIPLE times at this and other locations), and $5 for the "design" (which was essentially the same as the chrome design I had initially asked for). From my perspective, I received the same nails with only a different color powder. Though promised no extra charges, I ended up paying $20 in addition to the tip. I could have accepted a $5 additional payment just for the "design," but being charged over $65 for a bad visit and another $20 for ANOTHER bad visit is just so bizarre to me. The commitment to not charge me was not upheld, and I paid for such poor services. Overall, I'm upset by the decline in service and quality at this establishment and I do not recommend anyone visit. There are other nail salons nearby that value quality and respect. I will not be returning.

Lucy has a consistent pattern of prioritizing walk-ins and overbooking, leaving me waiting despite having a scheduled appointment. Today was the final straw. I arrived promptly at 5:15 p.m. for my appointment. Lucy was finishing up with a client, so I expected a brief wait while my SNS soaked off. As Kelly began my pedicure, I didn't immediately notice that Lucy had started a full set on a walk-in--despite knowing I had a confirmed appointment. She kept saying she was "coming," but didn't begin my SNS until 5:55, and only after I firmly insisted she stop servicing the walk-in and honor my appointment. Had my pedicure been closer to finished--and if I weren't juggling a packed schedule ahead of the holiday weekend--I would have walked out without getting my SNS done. This isn't an isolated incident of not appreciating my loyalty. On a separate occasion, Lucy actually called me about an hour before my appointment and asked if I could come earlier--not to accommodate me, but so she could fit in another appointment. I couldn't believe her audacity. When Susan and Queenie managed the salon, walk-ins were handled with consideration for existing appointments. They never compromised loyal clients' time. Lucy does the opposite--cramming in as many walk-ins as possible, regardless of how it affects those of us who've supported the salon for years. Under Susan and Queenie's leadership, the nail salon thrived, operating seven days a week due to steady business. However, shortly after Lucy took over as manager, I was informed that they no longer had enough customers to justify staying open on Sundays. I wasn't surprised. There are numerous highly rated nail salons in the Johns Creek, Suwanee, and Alpharetta area that offer better service at more competitive prices than Hollywood Nail Spa. As of today, they've lost my business--and they won't regain it as long as Lucy remains the manager. I look forward to finding a new salon that values professionalism and respects its clients' time.

It was empty besides two other people getting their nails done but I said sure. Two women walked in at 5pm and they told both of them they couldn't do them because they're closed. They closed in an hour and one lady just needed one nail fix. I thought that was a bit disappointing to say you're closed when you weren't. Lily did a great job on my feet and took her time. They're still holding up. However, the girl that did my manicure did a mediocre job at French gel tips. I told her I wanted short, square nails but longer than my nails. She didn't put any fake nail on me at all she just painted on my own nails. I don't know if she didn't paint over the entire nail or seal it properly but there were what appeared to be bubbles under the polish. It's been a week and the gel had chipped and broke off my nail. If I'm gonna lay $100 for my nails this polish needs to stay on a maximum of 2 weeks and they chipped three days later. It's clean inside and really nice. There's so many spaces to sit and get your nails done and so many spots for pedicure. They offer different tiers for the pedicure.

I immediately returned to the salon and explained the issue to the front desk assistant. He spoke with Kay (who was with another client) in their language instead of addressing me directly. Eventually, another employee told me that Kay said my nail beds were "too thin" to remove the product and that she would file it off "next time." Kay never explained this to me while performing the service, which would have been the professional thing to do. Instead, I paid $50 for a basic mani/pedi and was left with nails that were not properly done. I also want to note that while the pedicure I received from another employee was excellent, this is not the first time I've experienced rudeness or unprofessional behavior from Kay. I've noticed she treats other clients warmly, but not me. For that reason, I will not be returning to Castle Nails, nor will the people I referred.
