After getting to know him a bit, I asked him to help redo our cracked and crumbling blue-stone front walk. He dug up the old one, only to find another brick walkway buried under that one; he took out the brick, then filled the fairly deep channel with gravel and dirt, leveled it, pressed it, cemented it, and laid a gorgeous new laser-cut bluestone walk. You can see the results in the pics in the company's profile -- mine is the one with the yellow front door. If you live in Westchester, I can't recommend Fanelli highly enough -- for landscaping, weekly yard maintenance, and for masonry. Honest, direct, good at communication on email and phone, and comes back to fix anything that needs fixing at no charge. I highly, highly recommend.

We did not have any overages that we did not agree to or request, was amazed they finished it in the time they did, and generally found the team extremely professional. Like most homeowners we have worked with a number of contractors through the years. The first day I knew I liked them when they were cleaning off the driveway and organizing things vs just leaving a mess behind. The little things like taking their own trash out and not leaving cigarette butts in my yard (none of them smoked that I know of) meant a great deal to me. I guess the most important thing is the quality of the work and we are thrilled with the way it came out. It was a fair price, great team, and I would highly recommend them. I can't say that for too many contractors we have worked with around here and our list of people we would go back to is very short.

Told me he would be in and out in 2-3 days once the project started. After canceling the start date 2xs bec one worker called out sick, the work commenced. One week later and after tremendous aggravation, the work finally finished. Id grade the work a B. I paid in full in good faith because Marco promised he would come back and fix up some areas. Shame on me because he never intended to come back after repeated texts from him saying he would. In fact, he stopped responding to my texts. Unfortunately, some lies were told and I have since terminated my relationship with Carbillano and asked them not to come back to my property. Thank goodness its only money, and clearly doing an 80% job is what Carbillano knows best from my personal experience. I'm certain Carbillano will respond with lies, smooth talk and twist the story around for what really happened. I already have an email making me out to be the bad guy lol. If you have any doubts that Im telling the truth, please reach out to me as I have texts, emails, pictures of the shoddy work and my wife is also happy to share the lies we were told. Im happy to serve as a reference so no one else gets conned. I should have known better after the start date moved twice and Marco desperately needed to be paid in order "to make payroll." They added new mulch as a "favor" to get a good review but it's full of weeds and looks far worse! He never told us about an irrigation winterizing/turn off fee. We would NEVER hire them again. He doesn't return texts of phone calls. His Brother's contracting company is amazing but sadly this apparently doesn't extend to "Marco", the new owner of Carbillano. He's doesn't care about quality work and actually finishing THE job.
