This spot is ontop of a set of stairs, has an outdoor patio section, interior looked intentionally decorated and was cute! Cash was very nice and patient with me when I was ordering since it was my first time and I had no clue what to get. The options I got were great though for a first timer: 4 Seasons 4/5 - Thought this was a great first sandwich here since it had all the different types of cold cuts in one including ham, turkey, salami, and mortadella. Delicious, packed and well wrapped. Chef's Choice 4/5 - Came with grilled chicken strips, avocado, tomato, hot pepper, fresh onion, olives, crispy onion, pesto sauce and grandma's homemade hot sauce. This was good and warm but definitely preferred the 4 seasons more. I thought the bread was a tad tough when eating it. It might be because I got it as takeout and ate it within the hour rather than right away. But it was still a pretty solid sandwich overall.

The plaza itself is such a vibe, reminding me of Unionville Main Street for those familiar with the area. The signage throughout the plaza is excellent, making the place easy to find. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately captivated by the decor. It has such a unique aesthetic that's perfect for photos. I also noticed they have a patio with umbrellas, making it an ideal spot to enjoy on a breezy summer day without worrying about the sun. I originally came intending to order the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap ($15.99), but after spotting a table advertisement for their new Pizza Caesar Salad Wrap, I couldn't resist trying the pepperoni version ($16.99). My sister ended up ordering the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap instead, so we got to sample both. They also offer cookies, croissants, coffee, and matcha, along with 16- and 20-ounce iced drinks that are reasonably priced. I'm definitely intrigued to come back and try one. Even better, they've recently started serving breakfast, giving me even more reasons to return. The portions were generous and satisfying, and both wraps were packed with flavor. They struck the perfect balance of textures; crisp, creamy, and incredibly fresh. Honestly, no notes. They were perfection. I'd happily order them again, though I'm equally tempted to work my way through the rest of the menu. To top it all off, the staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making for an all-around excellent experience.

Tip: The poutine at Rudy's is awesome. Getting a small poutine with your burger meal is highly…read morerecommended. During the pandemic, I visited Rudy on the Danforth a number of times. It was one of many businesses that got me through this weird, uncertain time. For the last few months, I got myself reacquainted with Aurora. Well over a decade ago, I frequented Aurora often. I'm not sure why I stopped visiting, but it has been great returning every few weeks. While rediscovering Aurora, I have noticed this Rudy for a while. It used to be a Starbucks that I frequented often back in the day. It's also nearby a Gong Cha that I love. A couple Saturdays ago, after running a bunch of errands, I felt like lunch. I remembered this place and drove up the 404 to get here. There was plenty of parking when I got here at roughly 3 pm. I parked and walked in. I needed to use the washroom, so I made a left to use it. There are two single stalls. The door handle tells you whether it's vacant or occupied. The one that I used before and after my meal was clean. I headed over to the counter to place my order. I got Sarah, who was super patient and friendly. I looked at the combos menu. I went with the rude dude combo. The rude dude is a double cheeseburger. I got it with bacon, which meant that my burger was tattooed. I liked that I got a small poutine as the side because the poutine at Rudy's is excellent. I also got a fountain drink. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was done. She let me know when my food was ready. I found a table by the wall with windows. I filled my cup with ice and Diet Coke. It was so refreshing. I went back to refill my cup because I needed more of it to wash my food down. It is drafty in this eatery. Most folks had their coats and jackets on. There was a heater in the corner, which did little to heat the entire eatery. I looked at my receipt. Sarah had asked for my name. It was Marrie on the receipt. Close enough! My order was number 71. I thought that I'd hear the number called out and fetch my order. Nope. Sarah brought my food over on a tray. So nice! I thanked her and went to town eating my late lunch. My rude dude burger tasted yummy and fresh. I loved the buttery leafy lettuce, juicy sliced tomatoes, two slices of cheese, sauce, and bacon. The two smashed beef patties were flavourful and perfectly grilled. The bun was soft and held everything together. I loved being reunited with this burger! The poutine was excellent. The gravy was perfect to melt the cheese curds. The fries were perfection. It is the perfect side with the rude dude. I love that this Rudy location is in Aurora. I'll be back again for more good eats. (502)

The kebab & rice were decent - there're better Persian options out there (though maybe not in Aurora). Also got sabzipolo ba mahi, a special dish for Nowruz (Persian new year). The fish was pretty tasty with a nice lemon taste, but the herbal taste of the rice was a bit acquired. Also got tasting portions of Khoresh Gheymeh (red beef & split pea stew) and khoresh ghormeh sabzi (green beef & herb stew). Both were excellent. Both tasted quite different - the latter had a pronounced herb taste & the former was more conventional. Barberry rice with chicken was ok. The rice was their normal rice with a sour red berry on top. The chicken was rather plain. There was no red sauce unlike in the menu picture.

I upped 2 stars for the service. There were 2 ladies working, the older one didn't seem to know what she was doing. Open face smoke salmon sandwich - the sandwich is a generous size and the ingredients are quite fresh. The combination of the ingredient between the smoked salmon, pickled onion and cucumber goes well together with the bread. I wouldn't this is the best sandwich I ever had but its a good sandwich. The 3 potatoes ball are good, warm and creamy. 2. Dutch style Caesar salad - this salad tastes different than the Caesar salad I normally had. They replace the croutons with something that also looks like croutons but tastes about like couscous (I could be wrong). I liked it. The "bacon", it's replaced with some other kind of fried pork belly. It's salt with some nice pork fat, it's guilty food for me but I loved it and goes well with the salad. 3. Mushroom salad - this salad has lots of different little ingredients and makes this salad great. The mustard vinegrette goes well with this salad. I enjoyed the food very much and would visit again but the total cost is about $63 for 3 items and not cheap in my opinion. I should of ask for the itemized receipt because I don't know how much each dish cost. It would be nice for them to provide the itemized receipt without me asking. Considering the good food quality but the price is abit on the high side, I was struggling if giving a 4 or 5 stars. I would want to give 4.5, so I round up to 5 this time
