At first I thought the sandwiches were a little pricey, but once I saw the size, I understood. They're huge. I struggled to finish half of mine! I got the Tony turkey sandwich with cranberry spread and apple slices, and everything came together really well. The focaccia is sourced locally and was delicious, and all the ingredients tasted fresh and high quality. The turkey itself was mild in flavor, so next time I'd probably try one of their salami or ham options. They were also giving out samples of some new sandwiches, including one called the Joey, which was so good. Definitely one I'd order when it officially launches. They have outdoor seating, a café with coffee and iced coffee options, and the staff were very friendly. Overall, a great find and I'd definitely come back.

The plaza itself is such a vibe, reminding me of Unionville Main Street for those familiar with the area. The signage throughout the plaza is excellent, making the place easy to find. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately captivated by the decor. It has such a unique aesthetic that's perfect for photos. I also noticed they have a patio with umbrellas, making it an ideal spot to enjoy on a breezy summer day without worrying about the sun. I originally came intending to order the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap ($15.99), but after spotting a table advertisement for their new Pizza Caesar Salad Wrap, I couldn't resist trying the pepperoni version ($16.99). My sister ended up ordering the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap instead, so we got to sample both. They also offer cookies, croissants, coffee, and matcha, along with 16- and 20-ounce iced drinks that are reasonably priced. I'm definitely intrigued to come back and try one. Even better, they've recently started serving breakfast, giving me even more reasons to return. The portions were generous and satisfying, and both wraps were packed with flavor. They struck the perfect balance of textures; crisp, creamy, and incredibly fresh. Honestly, no notes. They were perfection. I'd happily order them again, though I'm equally tempted to work my way through the rest of the menu. To top it all off, the staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making for an all-around excellent experience.

I've never had mortadella before so I ordered the 4 Seasons as well as a hot dog. The hot dog is decent. The sausage is nicely grilled so it enhances that smoky flavor. The bun was a sesame bun but dry - just OK. Not sure it is worth the price or that I'd order it again. But when it comes to the sandwich, the ingredients were so fresh, the meat was delicious, the sauces were yummy, and it is overall composed really well. I'm a very saucy girl so it's slightly on the dry side for me, though. If I had to equate it to another well-known chain, I'd put this up there with Jersey Mike's, but perhaps with an edge because of the curated sauces and freshness. I love you too, Grandma!

On a more recent occasion, I ordered a variety of pastries and the eclairs shell tasted the same, as if it was stored in the freezer for a while and they just add fresh filling when it's time to sell. The whip cream filling wasn't tasty. Disappointing. The sfoglia pastry was large, delicious and fresh. The lemon squares were tiny, fresh and tasty. The price for the size was ridiculous though. The cannoli's still taste delicious, this is the only thing I've had from here that's been consistent in quality over the years.

New review coming your way on Spring Basil, also in Alliston. We stopped by after our car was done. W O W!!! The place is very small but has delish baked goods , fresh home-baked breads (the butter tarts are literally to die for!) and a hot deli counter. As we waited in line, I watched with happy amazement how Rose (a.k.a. #8 in the line of Rocco's sisters) was the main entertainment with her vivacious, exhuberant, down-to-earth personality. She treated everyone, including us (a gay married couple) like we were the most beautiful people in the world. When it was our turn, my partner told Rose to go ahead and make whatever sandwich was her own personal favourite. Rose was so touched by this and was in her glory as she stuck a few pieces of fresh roasted porchetta in our hands to try so that was what she made us. The porchetta sandwiches are unbelievable. Rose added some of their own sauteed chipollini onions, home-made peppers and home-cooked marinara sauce to the sandwiches...amazing. What an eating experience! Thanks Rose (and Stephanie)...we are happy to be a part of your "family" now.

It was a nice day so we ate outside in a garden setting. I had the Clubhouse with home fries. The sandwich was exceptional. It had real chicken! The tomatoes were nice and ripe and tasty. And yes, you could find the bacon as people sometimes skimp on this. Yummy. The home fries was really fried potatoes medallions. This was greasy so had to use napkins to remove the excess grease. The others ordered the Peameal Bacon on a bun and the Mushroom omelet. I didn't try but they thoroughly enjoyed their meals also. This had a family run feel to the restaurant.
