We booked a tent from Cantele Tents months in advance for our wedding. One week before the wedding,…read morewe were told the tent size we had reserved was no longer available because a shipment containing a required tent part had been ordered incorrectly and wasn't opened until just before our wedding. As a result, they realized they could not provide the tent we had contracted for. We were offered a smaller tent at the lower price, but this meant completely redesigning our seating chart and table layout just days before the wedding. At first, I was understanding. Mistakes happen, and I appreciated the honesty. Our venue asked if we could wait a couple of days before making a final decision while watching the weather, and Cantele agreed. When we ultimately decided we still needed the smaller tent, I asked whether they would consider an additional discount given the significant inconvenience their mistake had caused. Instead, James refused, said waiving the $100 delivery fee was sufficient, became argumentative, told me he "didn't have time for this," threatened to cancel our order altogether, and hung up on me. He ultimately refused to do business with us, leaving us without a tent option just two days before our wedding. The initial mistake was unfortunate, but the way it was handled was far more disappointing. We weren't asking for anything unreasonable--we were simply looking for a solution that acknowledged the stress, extra work, and uncertainty their mistake created. Instead, we were left scrambling to find an alternative at the last minute. Planning a wedding is stressful enough without having to worry that a vendor may refuse to honor even a revised agreement just days before your event. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Cantele Tents.

We used durants for our wedding this weekend. About a month before the day, my husband and I went…read morein person to durants to confirm that we wanted tent walls added, as it would be cold in the evenings outside in October. Once arriving for wedding setup, we noticed that the walls were not included. We called the SAME lady (Michele) that we met in person, and she took NO accountability, claiming that we never asked for the walls and that she had no idea what we were talking about! So rude, and honestly so disappointing on their part. Rentals were also dirty and cheap! It looked like our white chairs we rented were used about 100 times and were NEVER cleaned. Dirt, mud, stains, tape on chairs, scratch marks. Some chairs were unusable, as they were so gross! Same with the tent walls! When they did arrive, they arrived dirty and were ZIP TIED to the tent! So ghetto. They had originally told us the walls could be raised and lowered on the tent walls. But the guy delivering the walls said that Michelle in the store LIED to us, and that they had to be zip tied to stay down. When we met in person at durants, we also planned to have everything delivered on friday before the wedding on saturday. We get a call the week of the wedding saying that they are dropping the rentals off on wednesday. We both worked wednesday and could not take off to be present when the rentals were dropped off. when calling Michele on the phone, she said we never settled on friday drop off (which we absolutely did).
