How can i get a copy of my file from the government?

For our clients, we will provide a copy. For those pursuing benefits on their own, reaching out directly to SSA is the only option. For any assistance please reach out to us directly. Thank you

I believe I signed up in 93 when hired to be paid based on disability due to MS diagnosis in 2000. I was laid of in 11/2004. Does the insurance still cover today, or has…

In order to qualify for benefits, you have to have worked 5 out of the last 10 years. Feel free to contact us for further discussion.

I would also like to know how much the service is and whether or not it's based on contingency?

Thank you for the question. Our fees are contingent and we only get paid if we win. All our fees must be approved by SSA.

I cannot recommend Jason Burris and the litigation team at Burris Law highly enough. I originally…read morebrought Jason on to defend me in a complex breach of contract lawsuit filed by my former company and Jason fought relentlessly until he successfully got the entire action dismissed. Throughout that litigation, wage claim evaluations, and navigating complicated NDA and subpoena issues, Jason and his team of litigators proved to be sharp, thorough, and fiercely protective of my commercial contracting business. The value of having an attorney with Jason's and his firm's reputation cannot be overstated. Just this month, when a prime contractor attempted to breach our subcontracting agreement, I brought the issue to Jason. After dealing with Jason in our prior case, the opposing party was already well aware of his reputation for being aggressive and tenacious. The mere mention of Jason's name was enough to make them back down, completely resolving the dispute on the spot. If you need an attorney who delivers victories in court and whose name alone commands immediate respect, go with Jason Burris and the team at Burris Law. Thank you, Jason, for always protecting my business!

Burris Law helped me with my Mom's probate and estate. They are informative, extremely helpful,…read moreprompt, and understanding. Going through the probate process took a long time(2 and a half years) partial due to the nature of the courts and partially due to some more uncommon issues that came up. Including an existence of a trust, but being unable to locate a copy including finding the attorney who originally set up the trust and asking if they had any copies. Unfortunately, the trust was set up before computer records were common. Another problem they helped me with was SunRun decided, for reasons we were never able to figure out, to try to shut of service even after I had began the process of transferring everything into my name and was only then waiting on the deed for the house that I wouldn't have until probate was over. Getting a letter saying SunRun was going to deactivate my service for being overdue on payments while in the same letter saying I owed no money and was 0 days past due was confusing and was confusingto every SunRunemployeei spoke to and none could give me answers. Burris Law helped me tremendously with this and without their help I don't know what would have happened in the end. I can't say enough nice things about them. They sent me 2 small care packages during the process and it was really nice to get something positive in the mail during a time when I was getting anxiety every time the mail came. Even after probate has been over for a year they answer any questions I have that come up. Retaining their services was expensive, as it would have been for any probate attorney, and it was worth every cent. When I'm in a better spot I'll be back to set up my own trust with their help.

This review is based on my first impression and first encounter of the Law Offices of J. Homen. I…read morewas first greeted by Kim who was a very pragmatic paralegal whose personality represented a very business-like encounter. I soon learned to be very precise and concise with my words whenever she asks a question. Try to avoid sounding pedantic. Strive to produce direct, clear, concise prose whenever you have a conversation with her. Also, probably wise to detach yourself from any emotions when explaining things. However, after peering through my documents, I was impressed by her legal knowledge in identifying documents before even opening it. As the encounter went on, Kim started to be more receptive as the ice slowly broke. It finally culminated when she asked the attorney, Mr. Homen, himself to come and shake my hand. Alas, a man whose I can attach a face to. He seem very nice and genuine upon my handshake and introduction of him. Kim then placed the fate of my case to Ms. Chi who equally seemed like a nice person upon the first impression. Kim then walked me out the door in a polite Vietnamese way of farewell. Hopefully the individuals who work at this law firm will be equally as tedious and meticulous on my case as my first encounter. P.S. I will probably update this review as this case goes on.

Not sure what or who got in the way. Less communication, unable to reach, less interest, attitude changed, hearing cancelled, no QME request, no communication with doctor, no representation, only conversations.

Let me start by saying, no one seeks to hire a family attorney. Everyone hopes that a marriage, or…read morefamily situations never land up in a courtroom. However, if they do, you need an attorney and office that are going to support you, educate you, and promptly respond to questions/emails, etc. Eric and Michelle came referred to us from a friend who had been in a similar situation. Unfortunately, our family found ourselves wrapped into a family/ and civil court situation. From the first phone call with Ludwig Law office, whereas Michelle answered the phone and took time to answer many questions as we were on our way to the courthouse to do our own paperwork she has shown grace, patience, guidance, and genuinely cared about the rough situation we were in. Knowing that we were going to move forward with her services we hired this office without ever meeting them in person. Michelle encouraged us to come in, meet them, and get things rolling but we didn't need that. We just needed someone on our side, who could help navigate us through this mess. Of course, later we met her and Eric who continued to work endlessly on the case. In addition, the family law case, a related civil case then came up, as well as a joinder on the family law. Both Eric and Michelle worked hard to make sure everything went smoothly, as smooth as it could, and continue to guide us. Both of them worked to ensure what was done was in the children's best interest and ultimately after prevailing in a DVRO, and prevailing in a CHRO, the case was settled before a judge had to make the final decision. This didn't come easy, as I am sure no family case ever does, but the office handled the case with grace, patience, and understanding. From long court days, multiple emails, phone consults, in person meetings, the office handled the cases extremely well. When you get faced with a difficult decision such as these involving children you need someone to help you and that is what they do. Makenna and the rest of the office staff are amazing as well. Makenna takes time to respond to any questions you have, emails promptly, and always follows up. Thank you all for doing an amazing job and for spending many hours on these cases over the last almost two years! The children are center of all your advice and guidance, and we appreciate all the work you have done. If you choose this office, you will not be disappointed in the support you get.

Joseph and his team were on top of everything from the beginning. Joseph was very up front with his fees and what he expected to result in the case. I was never pressured to do anything and Joseph could not have been more understanding. I can't express my gratitude for these people enough. Joseph was able to negotiate a way more favorable settlement amount than my previous law office whom I'll remain nameless. In closing there are not enough stars to give this firm, and I would recommend everyone to this man. He has changed my family's life.

Throughout the process, Mr. Richards and his paralegal Mr. Arnold Marquez were able to provide the family member with timely answers to questions, especially since "online researches" (I don't get why people take whatever they see online as gospel) often generated contradicting advices and added to confusion. During several critical moments, the family member being represented was misled by "advices" from "friends". It was Arnold who provided timely clarification, explained one's rights, and eased the family member from a severe panic attack. Without them, I would've been overwhelmed and at a loss on how to ease the family member's ceaseless worries. Ultimately (after an expectedly lengthy but well-managed process), Mr. Richards and Mr. Marquez successfully defended my family members' legal rights, and the case was settled with appropriate compensations and necessary medical treatment. Overall, Mr. Richards and Mr. Marquez are to be commended for their professionalism, knowledge of the law, as well as their ability to steer plaintiff away from legal pitfalls (baffling "advices" from "friends" and "know-it-all" relatives without any legal basis). It was a long fight, and at times it felt as if everyone was against the family member, and in the end, the only people who were truly on her side were Mr. Richards and Mr. Marquez.
