We now love our patio and can use it day and night. We had to stay inside when we were getting eaten alive by mosquitos. Next we found out our daughter was allergic to bee stings, so we stayed inside. If it wasn't mosquitos or bees, it was the evening moths flying around our heads. The screens allow us to control the amount of sun, heat, wind, and stop the flying bugs and crawling critters that came onto our patio and into our house. We love sitting outside in the morning on our shaded patio. We can now dine outside without annoying pests. We regularly open our patio doors for fresh air. He was very professional and fun to interact with and took pride is his work. He appeared to be almost as excited about the job as we were. This is the type of folks you want handling a big job. We have a couple more items to be done at a later time, but we will most definitely be using them again. Side note, we live in an historic district home, and we have neighbors interested as well. Sergio came, took care of the problem nicely. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. He is also a good communicatior. He will be our "go-to" service for any future screen problems that we have! They went longer than their estimated time and never contacted us once. When we finally reached out to them the person was rude and just wanted us off the phone. We had to complain to original salesman. They came and installed and left huge gaps and uneven shades. They said this is how houses are designed now and not their fault. They said "these are glorified paper towel rollers do not expect much". They also made sure to let us know keep shades and awning up and never leave unattended. We sent photos and our issues to them. The fix they suggested was to cut a gap in or walk way. We called paver company and they said that is a HUGE safety concern and please do not do that.

We splurged on a 10' x 14' Kodiak Canvas tent recently, but on just the 3rd camping trip with it, a…read moresquirrel chewed most of the way through the corner it. Because of the size and location of the damage, the manufacturer advised finding a local canvas repair shop to fix it, but that proved to be fairly challenging. Thankfully, when I called The House of Canvas, the owner, Chantel, just had me forward her some photos of the damage, and then promptly agreed that they could fix it, and even provided a reasonable min/max price estimate via text. When I dropped it off the next day, the office staff reviewed the damage and agreed it would be no problem to fix it, and on the very next business day, they called to tell me it was already done! To be transparent, during the completion phone call, there was a bit of confusion about the cost of the repairs, since the repairs apparently ended up taking them 3 hours instead of just 1, as originally expected. However, Chantel was quick to tell her staff to honor her original estimate, since no one had ever reached out to discuss anything with us beyond that. Needless to say, I was very impressed by the honesty and ethics Chantel clearly showed in how she runs her business! None-the-less, I was so appreciative of them and their quality work, I voluntarily upped the amount I paid to "meet them in the middle" to show my gratitude and support this small business.
