He gave me an estimate with two options: encapsulating the asbestos or removing it. Encapsulating was cheaper, but I felt better with it just being gone. He came out the next day and removed it all by using a large bag with gloves in it, which he wrapped completely around the area. He even got rid of a bad wiring job the previous owner did with phone lines going through the vents. In and out in an hour, and he gave me an invoice at the end documenting the work. Not only was he friendly and fast, it was a great value and I can't recommend him enough.

A slow drip (about one drip every 15 seconds) over the course of a few month just soaked the ceiling below. I was to the saturation point where the water dripped out of the vent fan so I had no choice but to call in the professionals to make the repair after I have to cut a hole in the ceiling to fix the problem and dry out the ceiling. Schroeder's Drywall was great from the minute I called them. They were not able to make it out for two days to give me an estimate but he did talk to me about what I needed to do to dry out the ceiling so he could complete the repairs the week after. This was a great help because he gave me good advice. Once he was able to make it out to give me a free quote he was upfront, let me know what to expect if I hired him and how long it would take. The job would include patching the spot, floating the entire ceiling and doing the knock down texturing not he whole bathroom ceiling so it looked like new and matched. Quote: $425 for the ceiling repair. While he was here I also asked him to quote the taping and muddying of two walls in my three car garage. I only wanted the first 6 feet tapped and muddled because they have 12 foot ceilings. I was told it would be just as easy and no extra cost to have him tape and mud the entire two walls vs. just the lower 6 feet. Cost on this was $375. So for $800 I had both thing completed and they did it in three days!!! Professional work that is grade 1 seamless!!!! Great communication and very recommendable to anyone looking at Sheetrock or drywall work.

Not only was Nick timely, charming, and attractive, but his team showed a level of professionalism I didn't expect to see from a "drywall crew". I've had painters and other contractors in before and they've typically been OK with going in and out of my residence without regard for the dirt they're brining in, have had a tendency to leave trash around, and the bathroom a complete mess. NOT the case with this crew. I think they actually left the place in better shape than when they arrived. I got a quote from Schroder Drywall for about a ~600 sq ft. job in my basement and he came in well under in time and cost compared to three other well reviewed contractors. I was a little hesitant based on the quoted price, but he assured me of the quality by providing references. They were all more than pleased with the work that was done. If you need any drywall work (or a BF - I hear this stud is single), I strongly consider giving Schroder Drywall a call.

Since we bought our house in March, we have dealt with many contractors. Jose & Angela are by far…read morethe most professional and honest among all of them. They took care of a drywall+door installation and a bathroom fan replacement. Among the 4 contractors we contacted for this, they were the only ones showing up in person to provide a quote. The others only asked for pictures and provided quotes based on those. The quote from Jose & Angela was very reasonable. A couple of times, as it is often the case, the project required some extra costs due to the unforseen conditions of the door and the fan we purchased. Jose was very transparent in describing the reasons of the additional costs and updated our contract immediately both times. At each step we knew what we were paying for why. Based on our experience, this is not something to be taken for granted. The final job was absolutely high quality. Moreover, Jose and his team did all they could to minimize the impact of dust etc on the rest of the house. I am very happy we (somewhat randomly, via Angi) got to connect with them. They will certainly be our first choice for any future work on the house that falls within their expertise.

Legacy Restoration didn't just replace our roof -- they fought for us when no one else would, and…read moresaved us $30,000. Our story started in June 2025 with leaks in our porch and office. Friends recommended Legacy Restoration, and our estimator Michael Stanford immediately identified hail damage and began working with our State Farm agent. What followed was a six-month battle we never expected. State Farm denied our claim twice -- first calling it "normal wear and tear," then offering only mismatched patch shingles that would have violated building codes and reduced our home's value. Legacy refused to accept it. They brought in Robb Johnson -- a 30-year roofing veteran -- who personally documented everything and sent State Farm a comprehensive evidence file. Denied again. Still, Legacy didn't give up. Things got dire when State Farm threatened to drop our homeowners insurance entirely unless we paid $30,000 out of pocket -- by February 2026, in a Minnesota winter. We were also trying to close a HELOC that required active insurance. We were truly stuck. Robb kept hounding State Farm -- calling and emailing 2-3 times a week, coaching us on exactly how to communicate with our agent and adjuster. Within one week of our HELOC closing deadline, State Farm approved a full roof replacement. We didn't even need the arbitrator. Legacy worked quickly to get us the invoicing we needed to keep our insurance active and close our loan on time. We were likely the first home in Minnesota to get a new roof in March 2026 -- and the crew installed it beautifully in a single day. DeAngelo Funches (our Service Rep) and Jonathan Sanchez (our project manager) were exceptional throughout the build. If you need roofing, siding, windows, or doors -- especially if you're fighting an insurance claim -- call Legacy Restoration. They will fight for you like family. I am 100% certain we would not have gotten this roof covered without them. I cannot thank this team enough. Our deepest thanks to Michael Stanford, Robb Johnson, DeAngelo Funches, Jonathan Sanchez, and the entire Legacy Restoration team. You saved us -- and we will never forget it.

I hired them to remove and replace baseboards and door trim through Home Depot's Pro service. They double-booked the day my project was supposed to start and instead of rescheduling (which I offered), they sent the owner's brother-in-law - who doesn't even work for the company - into my home. He caused damage, and the work was sloppy and incomplete. The workmanship was terrible: - Boards weren't nailed securely - Large gaps between baseboards and walls - No caulking at seams - Only some nail holes filled - Some corners are mitered, others aren't - they're just boards stuck together for an unfinished, inconsistent look - They skipped spray painting the boards (as outlined in the contract), left several unpainted, and only painted the front face of others. After several text messages with Adam around my disappointment with the incomplete and sloppy work, they did offer to come back and fix things (contract has a workmanship guarantee) - but at that point, NO THANK YOU. The trust was gone, and I wouldn't feel comfortable letting them back in my home. I will likely have to rip half of it out and hire someone else to redo it - leaving me out a significant amount of money, and they don't care. Adam takes an 'Adam first' approach vs. a customer first approach as advertised. The finished product looks like a rushed DIY job I could've done myself. Unprofessional from start to finish.

There were times when -and I do understand family things that come up-that communication and follow up were awful. Lucky for us my husband works from home and can flex his schedule.
