Apparently in the time it took us to pull up to a pump, get out and pay, the price jumped 55 cents. The staff just shrugged and said they don't control it, there's nothing they can do. That rewards card is going in the trash. Fuck me once you lose a customer for life and I will tell EVERYONE I meet to stay away.

They have a wide variety of souvenirs as well. As you can imagine, you can't go here unless you have a ticket, or you're an airport employee, since you need to pass through security. The cashier was incredibly friendly and offered to help us if needed. The prices caught me off guard and I was surprised in an unusual way. Sure they are a little higher since it's the airport, but not by much, and seemed like they weren't out to get every penny they could like most airport shops. We travel a decent amount, so we know what the prices are for a small bag of chips, the average magnet, a bottle of soda, etc. on average at airports. So, if you forget or need something, no worries...look for this shop! Moreover, the really surprising part was they give a uniform discount with proof of ID...for veterans too! How cool is that? Never has any clerk at any airport anywhere asked me if I was associated with the military. WHOA! Thank you for this. See you on the next trip!

I stopped for gas here this morning. The first pump I pulled into had a bag over the nozzle…read moreindicating it was not operational. So I moved my truck to a second pump. I used my credit card, filled my tank and was on my way. This station is very convenient for me sitting on 25A, close to the freeway. It's a quick stop to fuel up, it's well lit and there is plenty of room to get in and out even if it's busy. It's my 'go to' gas station.

Speedway has a lot of pseudo-deli items now, along with all the roller food you could ever want. I decided to try a pepper jack tornado and since they were 2 for $2.22, I got two of them. As a snack, they're not bad. 85 grams and 220 calories, heavy on the bad stuff, of course. What, no salad on a stick? The line at the register was long and someone ahead of me was buying a bunch of stuff. She wanted to pay for the stuff with the Speedway cash cards she was buying, which led to a lot of confusion but she didn't explain anything ahead of time. Sure, I'd like to pay for cards with the cards! I'd be a millionaire, if I just had the million! Anyway, the cashier handled it really well and we all survived. She even took care of my transaction smoothly, including the coupon for a free drink and my 1000 point coupon from the transaction, which she added back to my card. Slick!
