Brought my dog in for a fungal infection and a recheck 2 weeks later. I was seen right away, for my recheck i came about 15 mins early and didn't have to wait. The vet techs are very kind and handle my dog very well. He's 106lbs so sometimes putting him on the table is a struggle. My dog was not scared he was very comfortable. I was able to ask all my questions and get the answers I needed. My dog was able to get his medical shampoo and antibiotic. The vet was able to give me the price breakdown of you options mango had for his allergies which i really appreciated. One recommendation is to remind the receptionist of your insurance discount. If you have insurance that gives you a discount right then and there off your bill (i know some insurances you pay the bill and then send your invoice. For your rebate)

Where do I begin? My cat started acting "funny" and so I took her to a different vet. Blood work showed HIGGGHHH kidney failure. They kept trying for a urine test but couldn't get it. They were a perfectly nice place but NO urgency. That's when I went to Yelp and found THIS PLACE. They were open for my call on a weekend and were able to squeeze her in that Monday. The staff was so attentive and concerned as I was a little terrified. They checked her out and had no problem getting the urine. Long story short, my cat probably has cancer from the moment I brought her there the staff made me feel like I wasn't alone. That they were in this with me. It's a wonderful relief to know you have professionals who care and are going to figure this out. My cat, Arcadia, was with them hospitalized for 4 days. They called me twice a day! Updating me on her tests and behavior. They listened to me, explained things more clearly when I was confused. Before I even brought her home, they let me visit with her for hours, when I was scared she thought I abandoned her when sick. On the day of release multiple people walked me through the home care. So patient with me. So kind. In her diagnosis too, they were kind while also being clear that this is probably the end game. This is the place to go to. 10000000%. They have my gratitude always for looking out for my sweet kitty. And I know they'll be here in the hard days to come. Side note...after their initial diagnosis from the first visit, they gave me their plan if I was inclined. And then presented me with an estimated price BEFOREHAND. Not all places do that. Just another reason why I have nothing but absolute respect and love for this place. Update: for those that care, they take Covid precautions!!

Mickey as a happy puppy once his tummy problems were fixed.

One night my son came home with a puppy called Mickey. He was a rescue who was supposed to go to his forever home the next day. Well the family decided they didn't want him & were going to send him to a kill shelter which my son did not allow. So when I cam home from work that night both he & Mickey were in my living room. Mickey was the love of our lives for the next 9 3/4 years. He had massive GI problems which Dr Jennifer Suss never gave up on. He was 1 of their earlier patients. Later on when Dr Jennifer Gordon joined the practice she became 1 of his primary doctors too. Mickey was expensive. Pets, if you care for them properly, cost a lot. Great vets are not cheap because they don't outsource to cheap labs for example. Taking on a dog is often a 10-15 year commitment. As a successful Realtor, I work 7 days & 6-7 nights every week BUT I structured my appointments so I could give Mickey the very best of care & so did Bergen Veterinary Hospital. The entire staff is fabulous & so are all their vets. When I needed an emergency appointment for Mickey last week, they got me in the next day (I'd called just before closing). I refused to take him to Oradell & they determined I could keep him home for what would be his last night with me). The compassionate care I received at the end of his life this past Wednesday was simply a continuation of the compassionate & totally professional care I have always experienced over the past 9 3/4 years. I simply can't say enough good things about Dr Suss, Dr Gordon & the entire staff at Bergen Veterinary Hospital. Great vets cost more because they do more & do it at a higher level. For my Mickey, only the very best would do &, frankly, elsewhere he never would have survived puppyhood.

In the beginning I don't think I minded this vet practice because it was close to home and they are accommodating with last minute appointments. However, the facilities cleanliness has declined. Seeing how we're dealing with animals, that roam and sniff thru almost any and everything, bringing them into a healthcare environment should mean Safe, Clean and Sanitized. Not the case here. I was punched in the face with an overpowering odor of urine (as if they are mopping the floor with it). And the ironic part, they sell candles to eat up Pet Odor. While waiting in the room, I couldn't help but observe the dirt and paw prints all over the metal bed. In mind i'm thinking they are going to put my baby on this. So I find some gloves and sanitizer and start wiping. Shortly after in walks the doctor and neither the doctor or the assistant wiped the table. The doctor wore no gloves. There are a few other concerns but I will voice those directly with the business. If they take action on these concerns I will be happy to return.

Last line reads 2 week follow up, zero dollars. Crooks

What a bunch of crooks. We took our dog 2 weeks ago for a cut under her arm. After medical treatment and medication we were told to take her back in 2 weeks. On the bill it said that the follow up in 2 weeks was free but they still charged me and did a another test that we did not authorize. They should be out of business for stealing from customers. Don't trust what they say. It's all lies. Even when I showed them the last bill that reads zero dollars they told me that was there as a reminders to bring the dog. They should be ashamed of themselves. Disappointed and disgusted. Do yourself a favor and find another vet.

This place is truly an answer to prayers. As a momma to 4 kitties (rescues who I would label as friendly to us, semi feral to strangers) I was on the search for a local vet who could handle these spicy kitties (they're all named after spices ) I'll be the first to admit that I am quite overprotective of my cats. They are my babies and tbh I would die for them. I've been a cat lady all my life, and I know vet appts aren't fun for anyone, let alone the kitties themselves. We called ahead to tell them that our 2 girls (part 1!) aren't the nicest to strangers and they said as long as we could get them in the carrier they could handle it. Well, we got them in the carriers and then they did! Not without drama of course (one cat apparently jumped into a cupboard and then i saw her in the window all fluffy and scared and I had a full blown panic attack in the car but that's for another story) Dr. Gordon was SO kind and explained everything that was going on and was even laughing and positive when mentioning how spicy our cats were! After sedation (the best case scenario for everyone!!) the babies were so well cared for, and the staff made sure to outline everything they did and plan for next time. The vet tech that came out to give us back our zonked out kitties was SO kind and made me feel so confident that my babies are in the right hands. Was it pricey, eh, not really for the level of care and service we received. Also, I mentioned these babies are my life so I'd gladly pay for quality care, service and love. Moral of the story, if you've got spicy cats and you love them more than anything, this practice can handle it and you (if you're like me and an anxious wreck when worrying about your fur babies)

This is the birthday card they sent to my little man Buddy Love

Our boy is a bit mischievous and likes to wander away from the group too much, so Wali offered to board him for a couple of weekends to work on training, and we definitely see improvement. Of course, we could've just hired a dog walker to walk our boy a couple of times a day while we're at work, but it's 100% worth the money for us to know that he's out enjoying nature and socializing with other dogs during the day, instead of just being bored on the couch between walks. And we love seeing the photos they post on Instagram! Would highly recommend Trail Tails to anyone with a pooch.

We recently moved and the worst part of moving was that we are longer be in the Trail Tails service area (it honestly weighed heavily in our decision, if that gives you an idea of how much we loved Trail Tails). Wali and his team are fantastic with dogs - they not only try to enforce good behavior (like recall and "playing nicely" with other dogs), but I can tell that they also show a lot of affection to these dogs and make sure "the pack" has an awesome time day in and day out, regardless of the weather. I also had my dog stay with Wali and his team over a few weekends and he seemed to have a great time. I also loved that they posted pics on Instagram regularly - it was so fun to see the dogs in action! (Including a pic of my dog at Trail Tails!) The only downside: there are some days when my dog got a bit dirty. But a quick sweep/vacuum was totally worth it - my dog had a blast and was always tired/happy at the end of the day when I got home. HIGHLY recommend Trail Tails!

It's extremely obnoxious to try and rectify this after I sent proof (pics) that Mary texted on her cell phone for half of the visit when she was supposed to provide "play time". I never said anything about you, that your visit was bad. But it was AFTER I complained and AFTER Chad asked me to submit pictures to prove what I say was true. He never apologized to me! He praised Mary during the whole email! Here, since we are attaching emails, let me know when you see the word "sorry" in Chad's email. And all that BS that he was the one texting her?! Please.. how abt a quick phone call if he wanted to tell her something important? If she was typing abt the visit, that's to be done AFTER the visit. Not DURING. When I'm paying for "play time"!!! P.S Chad, 1st, I never said Mary sat in a chair the Entire Visit. Please, I implore you to actually read my first review, don't put words in my mouth. 2nd, if I'm sending you 2 pics taken 6min apart where the pet sitter is sitting on a chair texting, that's pretty self explanatory. The visit it 20min from entering to exiting the door, so... I mean.. really?! Look how defensive you both are. That's guilt right there, and you continue to make it look like I'm the "bad guy" .. keep doing what you're doing. Obviously you know how.
