There is no set timetable as buses can run between 15 minutes to a hour until the next one. The ride takes about 30 minutes- without traffic. The bus was timely when we took it to get to the city, but it ran late when we took it to get to the airport. It was packed when heading back. Luckily we got seats even though they weren't together. Several people after us didn't have seats and one person even sat on the bus steps.

While the website gave some issues booking online, there area kiosks immediately in front of where the bus parks at Bergen Airport. This gives you the chance to quickly purchase tickets in person. No problem bringing your checked bags and carry on luggage with you. It's a large bus with plenty of seats. While there are taxis, rail, and other forms of transportation, Flybussen probably gives you the bus value - as it's an express bus, but less than the cost of a taxi. No reservations are required, simply show up to the bus stop/airport with your one way or return trip ticket in hand. Check the website or ask the drivers to confirm pick up times. They do run often, but return trips from Bryggen to the airport can take a good one hour, since Bryggen is the first stop - and there are multiple stops along the way before getting to the airport, so you want to plan accordingly. Overall I give Flybussen 5 stars out of 5.

I don't…read morebelieve you really have to do this because the line for ticket buying is pretty short and there are kiosks along the way inside to buy tickets. Also, if you happened to be in the line to buy tickets, you just enter afterwards, instead of waiting in the prepaid ticket line, it's kind of a cheat. At least that's what we observed. The line for the prepaid tickets was extremely long, going down the block for a bit but it did move fast. We got into line around 235 pm and we ready for the funicular around 3pm. For the length of the line, I thought this moved very fast. When you enter the gates to the funicular, be aware of the people counter. It counts down the amount of people that can enter. So if you're a party of 5 people and it says only 3 more can enter, you will be split up if you enter. There are like 5 gates so you have to pay attention if you want to stay with your party. There were MANY people who did not seem to understand this and started yelling at or crying to the kids working the line. There is nothing they can do, it's a safety issue and you will have to meet your party at the top of the mountain. Also, the last lane (most left handed) is for disabled people or people with strollers. It's kind of a d*ck move to go to that shorter line if you aren't one of these people or in a party with one. But karma hits hard and if you do try this little sneak, you'll probably end up waiting even longer because the special car it leads to has a small capacity and that line moves slow. Other than that, this funicular is a nice ride up and down the mountain, with plenty of spectacular views and cute moments to see.

We only found out after the fact that it cost more at the counter. :/ Adults are NOK 200, but NOK 220 at the counter. There are two carriages- one blue and one red. They depart every 10-15 minutes. Each carriage can carry 90-100 people, so it does get crowded. The ride is 4-8 minutes and is 848 m (2,782 ft) long, climbing 302 m (991 ft). It's a must in Bergen!

Comfortable beds which were not too hard or too soft in rooms which were warm, modern and quite trendy. The breakfast buffet had everything a growing boy and girl could ask for, including porridge. The front desk was very helpful with questions that I had regarding directions to other restaurants than their own and the check-in and check-out went fast an pain free. This is a hotel I look forward to staying at again on my next trip to Bergen.

They have umbrellas to rent in the lobby for the rainy Bergen weather along with a kiosk to book a taxi. Our room was average size for Europe and had all basic amenities. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel itself was quiet but the street below is very busy which added some noise. The breakfast was very good and worth booking here just for that feature.

We found the shower to have good water pressure, and the bed was fairly comfortable for Europe. There was no A/C which is also typical for Europe. The breakfast spread was excellent, and there are plenty of options for any food preference. Overall, we had a great stay at Hotel No 13, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Although we were only here a short 15 hours or so it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely return if we valer back to Bergen.

7/06/2024 - taking this airline from Bergen, Norway to Munich, Germany. Total time is about 2.5…read morehours. It's a smaller plane and waiting area at gate E28 sits about 50 persons. It's right next to the restrooms and several restaurants. So far so good. Nice and clean everywhere. Groups A and B can bring only 1 item in the once. Group C there are no carry ins unless you pay for it. I had the option to check in 3 bags for free with Group A. Side the plane photo as well.
