Spicy salami pizza - SALSICCIA E PARMIGIANO
    Cyn L.

Great pizza served fresh, sourdough base crust - 8 slices. Ask for extra cheese if you like cheese with every bite. We ordered the spicy salami Diavola, SALSICCIA E PARMIGIANO, Provola. Service was good. Nice atmosphere well lit restaurant and plenty of outside seating.

Great pizza! Service was excellent and we were seated quickly. It is more like a generic restaurant though not a lot of atmosphere. The pizza was hot and excellent. Quickly served.

Great spot for local pizza. Plenty of fresh, light, made-to-order options. Lots of dining space inside as well as a decent sized patio outside that offers plenty of shaded seating. The service was quick and attentive and the pizza was delicious!

This place was located just a couple of doors down from our apartment in Florence. Every time we walked by, the incredible smells got us in the mood for pizza. After an all-day tour in Tuscany, we were tired and decided to bring a few pies back to the apartment for dinner. Pizzas were great! Crust was super crispy. Toppings were fresh and tasty. Pizzas were done in about 30 min. In terms of size, they are like slightly larger than personal pizzas. Great meal. I would definitely recommend!!!

Berberè is a great spot! If you're looking for solid pizza, a relaxed, casual atmosphere, and delicious drinks, this is the place to be. We stopped in to get some lunch (and get out of the rain). It took a little while to be noticed, and then subsequently seated, but not too bad. We ordered the diavola and margherita pizzas and a Caesar salad. All great choices. The diavola pizza doesn't really have much spice (at least for my tastebuds) but it definitely has all the flavor. The margherita was okay, but if you want a basic, no frills experience it's the way to go. The Caesar salad is made with a good amount of arugula, which for me is great, but some may not enjoy as much. The house white wine is also tasty and a great value, like much of the wine in Italy. Definitely a good spot to check out for a break a tasty lunch.

Truthfully...the best pizza I had in Italy!! Real talk... Florence is known for their beef and wine (tuscany), but if you happen to want delicious pizza, you have to try this place!! This was an impromptu recommendation by my lovely tour guide/photographer, and once again, she was absolutely right! The pizza was so fresh and tasty, and I could taste every ingredient on my pizza. My order was made fresh, and took about 15-20 mins. The shop is quaint and very conducive for dining in, and there is some outdoor seating as well. The customer service is kind and efficient. Oh..and tiramisu was fantastic. Overall, highly recommend if you want amazing pizza, especially if you're passing through Florence.

Best pizza I've had in Florence, and the only pizza I've had that's been pre-cut, which I really appreciated. Outdoor seating is a must in the summer months and luckily they've got plenty of it. Really enjoyed how this pizza wasn't "soupy" and slid off like other pizzas I've had around Florence. Cooked perfectly with a nice crunch to the crust.

Great pizza, good service and delicious pizza! You can eat in and sweat or enjoy a breeze outside if your lucky.

Great pizza and crust dipping sauces. The honey based sauce elevated the pizza. Perfect lunch

Ok for context I just came in here to escape the rain, I didn't do research beforehand but this was disappointing :( not authentic pizza, it came pre cut and ingredients didn't taste fresh

Of all of the pizza we had during our visit, this was my least favorite. It was simply ok - and took forever to come out.

No table service here, you order up front and wait at your table for your food to be ready. Great menu selection to choose from. I ordered the regular sized pizza topped with tomato, mozzarella, spicy calabrese salame, and mushrooms. The crust was thin and perfectly crisp. The pizza was fresh and still steaming hot when I brought it back to my hotel which was a 5 minute walk away. The pizza took about 5 minutes to make so if you're in a hurry or hangry, this place is fantastic for a quickly prepared meal.

The #9 was gorgonzola and pear. It came out piping hot and the cheese was almost falling off the pizza it was so fresh. This pizza has changed my understanding of what a great pizza is. Thin, delicious, not greasy, extra cheesy, and combined with the pear perfectly. I thought I'd only eat half, but easily finished all of it because it wad that mind blowing. My wife loved her pizza as well, but sure was jealous of the #9. Now on to the owner. It was just my wife and I and Luciano the owner in the store. He talked to us for a good 15 minutes after we were done eating and even gave us a fresh slice of prosciutto to try after asking if we liked Pork... just because we were talking about how fresh food makes the difference between good and bad food. Such an amazing owner that really puts passion into his product. Give this place a try and you will not be disappointed with the food here!

And super close to the Duomo, water, and other tourist locations, but not a tourist trap guaranteed! One of my favorite Italian ristorantes so far in terms of taste, quality, concept, and value! Also my partner's FAVORITE restaurant so far and I've honestly never seen this man express beyond a nonchalant "it's good" about his food. He was actually describing the textures "perfectly cooked... In that transition phase between cooked and uncooked" (he means Al dente) and flavors of his spaghetti Pomodoro to me with shining eyes that only foodies have. Omg it was a memorable moment for both of us, the food was truly that delicious. Try one of their many prix fixe menus - 10, 15 (the only vegetarian friendly prix fixe), 20, or 24 (meat eaters only). Water or housemade wine (yes! The owner lady makes her own!) + primi + secondi. Unfortunately these options are not vegan friendly, but the regular menu has plenty of variety for everyone. Portion sizes here btw are HUGE. Unsalted "bland" bread characteristic of Tuscany was served to start, which is included in the mandatory 1.50 euro cover charge per person. However, not sure if owners were being kind, we were not charged this tonight. Partner ordered the 15 euro prix fixe (vegetarian available) dinner. Do try their pasta options - simple but finest quality and cooked to perfection. His eggplant parmesan secondi was smaller than expected, but perfect because the primi was gigantic. I ordered the seafood 20 euro prix fixe dinner and asked for dairy-free. Ricotta with prawns was creamy (but has no cream or butter or cheese upon my request) and huge and a bit spicy, but that's what made it so interesting. The salmon trout with salad secondi was smaller than expected, but perfect size overall because the risotto primi was so big. The salmon was average, not the best I've had, probably because it is not buttered, but on the drier end which I like. They take cards - MasterCard, visa, and american express. Will most likely be back :)
